Weasley Siblings Reacting To You Saying You Are Pregnant
Writing Comission’s Are Open
William ‘Bill’
Tumblr media
“Excuse me-?” He was left practically speechless, when he picked up the onesie on his bedside table. A little blue thing, with the words To The Moon And Back. He was so full of emotions. Panic, excitement, horror, joy. Would the baby inherit his wolf tendencies? Would something go wrong, because of his bad blood? He was so scared. Would you be in danger, because of him? With his eyes turning to you, and seeing that excited smile, he couldn’t help but calm down. Teddy existed after all, didn’t he? He was as fine as he could be. The idea of holding his own little ball of joy. To see that orange hair, and watch you nurse. “I’m going to be a dad….” He trailed, with a smile. “I’m going to be a dad-“ He repeated, as he would hold the little sleep wear to his chest. Tears ran down his broken cheeks, as he kept reacting it. So full of pride. He’s going to be a dad, with you.
Charlie
Tumblr media
“IM GONNA BE A DAD-!” He was screaming, bloody damn murder, as he was running around at the sanctuary. Screaming it with pride, as you chased after him. Just laughing, as the dragons would lift up their heads. “IM A DAD IM A DAD IM A DAD-!” He keeps roaring, as the dragons would tilt their heads. Watching their motherly figure jump for joy. Literally. “Charlie-!” You laughed, as he was just to full of excitement. Laughing, cheering, and crying. That’s when one of the older mothers would grab him by the collar. Yanking him into the air, before plopping him right next to you. As if to convey that he better step up now. That had you laugh, as he pouted at her. “I am I am-!” He said, before he was on his knees. Holding your belly. “I’m gonna be your daddy-!” He squealed, as he kissed it over. All the excitement getting the new borns curious, but those mothers made sure they didn’t get to close. Letting him have his moment. A new baby, to join the herd.
Percy
Tumblr media
“You cannot be serious-“ Percy was blinking, as he had hardly taken two steps through the fire place. Just gotten off work, early for once, only to be surprised by you making a baby box. It was meant to be a surprise, and something you would give to him after dinner. Seems like he was still surprised, regardless. “Who had the baby this time-?” He asked, as he would set his belongings where they were designated. That had you snort, as it didn’t quite dawn on him yet. With the fact you didn’t say anything, he turned around. “Honey?” He asked again, as you keep smiling. Slowly, the gears turned, before he was left with his cloak dropped from his hands. It was him. He didn’t expect that. Was like the last one to join the family gang. He couldn’t help his worry. He didn’t exactly grow up to well. He wasn’t to well connected with his family, and only came around when it was almost to late. He didn’t want that to happen to his kid. To have such a divide. You could tell he was worried, and patted the seat next to you. He joined, and you would kiss his head. “Who do you wanna tell first?” You asked, as he held your hand. The name he said, reassured himself that this kid won’t have that tension. Not like what he made. “George is perfect.” Another kiss to his head, as the plans were made. A big and happy family.
Fred
Tumblr media
The words barley left your lips, before you were tossed over his shoulder. As quickly as you were tossed, you were soon hearing the noise of the busy shop. "HEY EVERYONE!" He shouted, causing everyone to look up at one of the railings. George as well, with curious eyes all the same. "IM GONNA BE A DAD, AND GEORGE IS GONNA BE A UNCLE!" He cheered, and everyone was a roar of cheers as well. George was quick to drop what he was doing, and soon aparate next to him. "Put your damn mother to be down!" He laughed, as Fred finally set you down. All three of you in a warm, and tight, hug. "i'm gonna be a uncle!" George cheered, as you laughed. You had to wonder who was more excited for the baby. Your husband, or his twin? It did not matter to you. They were both so happy for this wonderful news. They just could not let you go, as they were just laughing in joy. Children. More children. What could make them hate that?
George
Tumblr media
"Pregnant?" He whispered, as he almost looked like he would burst into tears. "I heard that right, didn't I?" He asked, as he felt over the scarred skin that was once his ear. You nodded, before you held up your hands. You could not grasp sign as fast as George did, but you knew the alphabet. P.R.E.G.N.A.N.T. Pregnant. He was soon tackling you, as he was sobbing into your shoulder. "I'm going to be a dad-" He sobbed, as you rubbed his back. Some joy, in his world of darkness. You had fallen pregnant, not long after the death of Voldemort. Made senes, since the stress was gone. For you, anyway. "Jellybean....If its a boy...." You would peck his cheek, and nod. "A boy, Fred. If a girl, Fredrick works as a beautiful middle name." You comforted, getting another hiccup in return. The world was moving on, but the world will not be forgotten. Fred lived on, and hes going to be your tiny terror. How excited you two were, for it.
Ron
Tumblr media
“No-“ He gasped. “Really-? No-! Are you-? No-“ Was like he was trapped in a loop, as he now paced around your living room. Looking at you, before looking at his feet, then repeating. As if every time he made a full pace, he turned. You had to admit, was pretty adorable. Figured news like this would make your Auror husband short circuit a bit. You let him pace, with a smile. Just grinning, as he was trying to register it all. Suppose work fatigue makes anyone’s brain mush. Especially a job like his. You would watch him pace, until his brain was finally registering that YEP you are indeed pregnant. “Bloody hell….IM GONNA BE A DAD-!” His face was beaming, before he was stealing you into his arms. He was exhausted, but not tired enough to not huggle and cuddle. “We need to tells ‘Mione and Harry-! Oh those two will be so excited-!” He beams. Uncle Harry and Auntie Hermione. He was going to crush you, you swore, if he kept being so happy. “Blimey, guess that over time is finally coming in handy.” You hated his over time, but he had a point. Now you two had a secure start. That had you relax a little more. “Hope Harry doesn’t mine if I slow down on my career a little.” You would stroke his hair, and pecked his cheek. “He’s Harry. I’m doubtful he will be made you want to not be dead on a side walk, and leave me a single parent.” You snorted. “Yeah, probably doesn’t want history repeating.” Morbid, but point proven. “Gonna be a dad-“ He kept smiling, as he pulled you into his lap. Unable to stop holding you close. He was so happy, and you were all the same. Your family.
Ginny
Tumblr media
“SHUT UP-!” She gasped, as she was looking towards the Quidditch stands. No way was she seeing what she was seeing. Your wife just won the first game of the season, and she was looking straight at you. In the VIP seats, and holding up a sign. I’m Pregnant. In bold and colorful letters, so she couldn’t miss it. “NO WAY-!” Ginny kept screaming, as her team mates looked over, as they were shaking hands with the enemy team. “What’s up?!” One of them asked. “IM GONNA BE A MUM-!” Ginny cheered, as that had all the broomstick flyers stare towards where her eyes looked. “CONGRATS-!” The enemy seeker said, with a clap. Good sportsmanship. “IM GONNA BE A MUM-!” What a way to start her quidditch season. The first win, and the fact she’s going to be a mom. “Well, go and fly over-!” A team mate smacked her back, and she wasn’t needed to told twice. The fans went nuts, with famous Quidditch Star Ginny Weasley was flying towards the stands. Right to you, and nearly tackling you down in the box. The fellow VIP seaters clapped for you two, as she planted a big kiss on you. Tears in the corner of her eyes, as she hugged you tightly. “You knew I would win, didn’t you?” She asked. “No, but I mean what better way to recover from a loss?” That had her smack your shoulder, but she was soon was wiping her eyes on her gloves. “Oh fuck, look at me. Crying like a girl-“ She joked, as she sniffled. She was so happy, and you were as well. She just couldn’t contain her joy. Her, you, and your own little precious snitch. What more could a girl want?

Ron was beyond confused, not to mention worried. He ran into the bedroom where Harry and Hermione were sitting, reading their books, before pacing up and down with his hands in his messy ginger hair. “Shit, shit shit.”
Harry looked at Ron with a puzzled expression. “What’s wrong?” He asked.
Ron gulped, looking at his two friends with wide eyes. “I’ve lost Y/N.”
“What do you mean you’ve ‘lost Y/N’?” Hermione asked as she narrowed her eyes.
“Well,” Ron started, stroking the back of his neck with his hands. “She was outside with me, helping me put up the Christmas lights. I came inside to turn them on, you know, to see if they looked decent and when I went back she was gone!”
“Oh honestly Ronald, you had one job!” Hermione groaned, rolling her eyes.
“It’s not my fault!” Ron exclaimed, throwing his hands up in the air. “I didn’t think she’d give me the slip! So… Neither of you have seen her?”
Harry and Hermione shook their heads before Harry spoke up, “are you sure she isn’t with Fred and George? She’s quite close to them.”
Ron’s eyes widened as he nodded. “Good idea! I’ll ask them!”
Ron then bolted out of the room as fast as he could, leaving Harry and Hermione sitting there shaking their heads and laughing. When Ron reached the twins room, he didn’t even bother knocking. He slammed the door open, breathing heavily. Fred and George looked at their brother, confusion lacing their faces. “What is it?” They asked simultaneously.
“Have you seen Y/N?” Ron asked, but the twins just shook their heads.
“No. We haven’t. Wasn’t she supposed to be helping you put up the Christmas decorations outside?” Fred asked, looking at George with a grin on his face.
Ron nodded. “Yeah. But she gave me the slip. I was hoping she’d be with you!”
“Nope,” George replied. “You must have bored her half to death.”
“Ha ha very funny,” Ron said as he rolled his eyes. “I’ll ask Percy.”
“Haven’t seen him leave his room. Doubt he would have seen her,” Fred pointed out. “Have you checked the farm? Maybe she went to see the animals.”
“She has to be there,” Ron nodded. “She couldn’t have just disappeared.” And with that, he ran off to check the livestock peppered around the outside of the Weasley home.
Meanwhile you were in Percy’s room. You were hovering above him, hand over his mouth to quieten down the moans and whimpers that were threatening to leave his lips as you rode him. Your hips moved expertly against his, but cautiously, ready to jump off if anybody was to interrupt the two of you. You had been dating Percy in secret for a few months now, and would always disappear to his room when nobody was looking. “‘M gonna cum,” Percy whimpered against your hand, his hips thrusting up to meet yours in a chaotic rhythm.
“Shh pretty boy,” you whispered quietly and Percy nodded as tears sprung to his eyes. The pleasure you were giving him was too much to handle. His arms flew to your waist, keeping you doing the same movements over and over again as he pulled you flush against his bare chest. The sudden movement caused your hand to fall from his mouth, but Percy was quick to smash his lips against yours, kissing you desperately. You swallowed his moans as he finally came, his hips stuttering as thick ropes of white coated your insides. Your hips slowed down to a halt as your lips glided across his effortlessly.
“Merlin,” Percy whispered against your lips before pulling away and gazing into your eyes. You shifted your weight and rolled off of him, laying down on your back and breathing deeply as you stared at the ceiling. You found yourself giggling quietly as you heard Ron’s voice carry throughout the house.
“She’s not there!” Ron cried as he ran through the halls, opening all the doors but Percy’s and peering into the rooms.
“I should go and relieve your brother from the torture of trying to find me,” you say looking at Percy with a grin.
He pouted, pulling your body close to his and pressing a tender kiss on your temple. “Do you have to go?”
“Y/N! Y/N where are you?” Ron’s voice echoed.
You looked at Percy and nodded. “I’ll be back, you can count on it.”
“I’ll hold you to that,” he smiled, watching as you stood up from the small bed and dressed yourself. “You’re so beautiful.”
You blushed at Percy’s words and straightened your hair, looking into the mirror to make sure you looked presentable. When you were satisfied with how you looked, you turned to Percy and grinned, bending down to kiss him on the lips softly. “I’ll see you later handsome,” you whispered against his lips.
“Not if I see you first,” he replied cheekily as you pulled away from his lips. You rolled your eyes playfully as you turned to leave Percy’s room. You checked both ways down the halls to make sure nobody was there, turning to give Percy one last smile before exiting his room. You quickly made your way to Harry and Hermione, trying to come up with an excuse as to where you had been in your head. When you entered the room, the two friends looked up at you with a smile on their faces.
“Y/N!” Hermione exclaimed, jumping up from her position and hugging you. “Where have you been?”
“I went to check on the chickens,” was all you could come up with. Harry raised an eyebrow at you, but didn’t say anything.
“Y/N? Is that you?” Ron asked, barrelling into the room with a grin on his face. “There you are! Bloody hell, I’ve been looking for you everywhere!”
“She was with the chickens,” Harry said, a smile on his face. Ron looked slightly confused, but thankfully didn’t question you any further. Instead, he wrapped his arm around your shoulder.
“Fancy helping me with the rest of the decorations?” He grinned.
You nodded, excited that Christmas was just around the corner. “Of course!”
You followed Ron out of the room and down the hall, passing Percy on the way who was heading to the bathroom. He eyed you lovingly although his posture was stern. You didn’t know how much longer you’d be able to keep up your secret relationship, especially since you kept disappearing every time you went to the Weasley house to rendezvous with Percy. But for now, you were content. You sighed dreamily as you passed your lover in the hall, his hand skimming yours and quickly intertwining around your fingers before pulling away. A subtle gesture to let you know that he was thinking of you. Ron, who was completely oblivious to what had happened, continued walking to the loft to get more Christmas decorations down. You smiled at Percy before quickly following his younger brother, holding the ladder for him to climb up. When Ron finally re-emerged he was holding a container full of decorations, a wide grin on his face. “Here we are! I hope you’re not going to disappear again, we have a lot more to put up!”
You chuckled. “I’ll try my hardest not to.”
Ron narrowed his eyes, but quickly found the funny side of your joke, nodding along. “Well if you do, at least tell me where you’re going next time. I was worried!”
“I will do,” you said, knowing full well you would disappear again and not tell anyone where you were going. It was the norm now, and everyone just had to be okay with that.

Sweet dance
Bill (William) - Percy - Fred - George - Ron Wealsey x Reader - Y/N
Summary: As a muggle-born, obviously you know about technology. Except your Weasley boyfriend doesn't, not at all actually. One day you arrive home with a radio, wanting to show it to him. You put on a disc playing romantic musics and invite him to dance.
Warning: None
Bill
He gently take your hand and take you dancing with him. You move at the rhythm of the music, making you turn as you dance together. The moment is loving and tender, sweet and full of love. He close the dance with a soft kiss, a hand on your cheek and the other on your hip. Bill gives you caresses and kisses, no words needed. You can see the look in his eyes, as you look at his face. Pure eyes of admiration and love saying "I'll love you forever and more".
Percy
You take his hand and try to pull him in the dance. "Come on!" You try to convince him, as you only get for answer "I have more important things to do than dancing". You still don't let him go, pulling him in. He sigh "If I give you one dance, you'll let me work?" He ask a bit annoyed. You nod and pull him again. He take you in his arms and make you dance, for once he's having fun. You dance for a minute, then two, three, four... you dance for at least 15 minutes before he even look at the clock and realise. "Oh... we've danced more than enough, now excuse me but I have things to do." You make a slight pout but accept it, giving him a kiss before letting him go. You drive him crazy in both ways, you know it.
Fred
He give a smile and look at you lovingly, he hold out his hand for you to take. "My lady" He speak with a half teasing and half sweet tone. You take his hand and start dancing together, you dance slowly at first and go faster and faster. He make you spin and lift you up, he kiss you, caress you and hold you. He end the dance with a hug and a kiss, his arms wrap around your waist as he lift you up. "I love you" He whisper.
George
He catch you from behind and pull you close. "My lady want to dance with me?" He say with an adorable chuckle. He too make you spin and lift you up. You dance together for a little while as the minutes pass. The dance end in a kiss, your arms wrapped around his neck. He caress your back, passing his hand under your shirt, just to tease you a bit. Not that he doesn't like doing it, he loves doing it actually. He kiss your neck and smile as he pull away. "Such a pretty lady, how lucky am I?"
Ron
"Come on, take my hand" You try to convince him. "No way, I don't like dancing." He answer, even tho you know he's just scared to step on your feet and embarrass himself in front of you. You take his hand and pull him, you make him dance with you. He step on your feet once or twice, or ten times... didn't bother to count. You end the dance with a wide smile, while he looks embarrassed to death. "Sorry... for stepping on your feet..  like ten thousands time... but it's your fault you pulled me in the dance!" He say with his face slightly red. You give him a smile then a kiss. "Don't worry, my feet are used to it now" He give a small smile. "You're gonna be the death of me." He say with a chuckle.

Christmas Gifts
Percy Weasley x Reader
Tumblr media
Percy Weasley was known to be reserved, even around his family members. So, when the twins let it slip to Molly that he had a significant other, she was ecstatic. Immediately, she sent an owl to you, asking if you would come over for the upcoming winter break.
It was Ginny's idea to make your guest appearance a surprise for Percy, which you were on board for. Of course, it was a little nerve-wracking to be meeting the rest of Percy's family, especially without him there. However, you decided that none of them could be as shocking as when you met the twins one night while roaming the halls with Percy.
He was on Prefect duty, but you didn't care; you both had insomnia anyway. Plus, the late hours of the night were some of Hogwarts' quietest, and you wanted to cherish it.
That being said, the excitement radiating off Molly Weasley when you got to the Burrow was a force to be reckoned with. She was absolutely thrilled that her sophisticated son had found someone all on his own.
Wrapping you in a tight hug, she welcomed you inside the home and introduced you to Ginny. The little girl was shy, but you could see the mischief glimmering behind her eyes at the thought of the shocked look on Percy's face when he got home.
Admittedly, it was challenging to sneak around Percy's keen senses that he had developed from being the victim of many pranks and through his job as Prefect.
"Do you think we've pulled it off?" You asked after you stuck your things in the appropriate siblings' room.
"He's a smart one, but I don't think he'll be expecting this. My, he doesn't even know that the twins told us about you." Molly responded.
In the corner of your eye, you saw knitting needles clicking together as they wove the strands of yarn. You were an avid knitter/crocheter as well, but you preferred to do it by hand. Nonetheless, the magic flowing through the needles and into the yarn was fascinating.
Molly noticed your interest and started a conversation about the hobby while preparing dinner with Ginny. You offered to help by setting the table and adding extra plates for Harry, Hermione, and yourself.
"I actually brought handmade gifts for everyone," you mention, "I wasn't sure what to make, but I hope you all like them."
"Oh, that is wonderful, dear!" Molly cheered and you could see the wheels turning in Ginny's head on what her present might be.
Soon enough, it was time for the main event. The clock had switched, and everyone's name was now at the Burrow. You rushed to the bathroom seconds before the door flung open and a sea of red hair flooded the entryway.
You pressed your ear against the door, listening as everyone greeted Molly and Ginny. Quickly, Molly ushered everyone upstairs to put down their things so dinner could begin.
"Okay, dear, when you hear the knitting needles stop, you'll know it's time to come out." Molly whispered near the bathroom door before rushing back into the kitchen.
Once again, you heard a stampede of footsteps make their way past the entryway and into the dining area.
"Mum, you set out an extra plate ... and there's an extra chair." Percy observed as he sat down next to an empty spot.
At that exact moment you heard the clicking of needles cease and you had to take a breath before opening the door.
"I suppose that means I'll be sitting there." You say, walking into the room.
Percy chokes on air the second he hears your voice. Ginny's smile is bursting at the seams, the twins are holding in their laughs, Molly is almost vibrating with excitement, and the rest are simply watching the scene unfold with smiles.
"Y/n!" He yells before clearing his throat, "what ... what are you doing here?"
"I was invited, I hope that's alright." You say shyly, moving a little closer to the table.
"Of course it's alright," Percy exclaims, "but how did this happen?"
Once the words leave his mouth something clicks in his brain, and he whips his gaze over to the twins. Immediately, they lose control and begin cackling at the look on their brother's face.
"It was my idea to surprise you!" Ginny comments with a smile.
Percy instantly softens once he sees everyone giving him warm looks and the tears in his mother's eyes.
"Well, consider me surprised."
He turns back to you and stands, taking your hand and leading you to the seat next to his.
"This is only the beginning of the wonderful Christmas we're going to have." You whisper to him, folding your fingers through his.
"I don't think anything could ever top this." He says before kissing the top of your hand.
Just wait until he sees his other gift.
A/N: Ohhhh my gosh, it has been so long since I have been on Tumblr and this account, and it's crazy. But here we are with my man Percy Weasley; he is a little bit of a douche sometimes, but I'm in my "I can fix him" phase lol.

Come Back
Tumblr media
“I don’t know why you’re complaining, Weasley. It’s your fault we got lost!”
“How is it my fault!?”
“I told you we should have asked for directions! Now we’re in the middle of nowhere in this extremely spooky hotel until tomorrow!”
“It’s not spooky-” Percy started saying before you heard thunder roar through the hallway as you made your way to the last room available in this ungodly place. It gave you the creeps. “That was an unfortunate coincidence, nothing more” he tried to assure you.
You didn’t understand why you had been assigned with Percy Weasley for this trip. He was supposed to be undertaking this project for Kingsley and you had to cover it and report it for your job on the Daily Prophet. But somehow, you got lost and it was the middle of the night and you were in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of a storm. So, it would have to wait until morning.
“Okay, I think this is it” you mumbled, reaching the door of your room and quickly opening it.
“Oh, you have to be bloody kidding me!” Percy complained, walking in.
“What?”
“What? There’s only one bed!”
“So? Don’t be so dramatic, Weasley, it’s just for one night” you chuckled. “Fine, if it bothers you that much, I can stay on the floor-”
“W-what? No, I’ll stay on the floor” he argued.
You knew you weren’t Percy’s favorite person. Even when you were in school. But you had no idea he actually hated you so much as to not be able to share a bed with you for one night.
“Fine, suit yourself” you muttered.
“Would you like to use the shower first?”
“Sure” you sighed, walking over to the bathroom. You were both drenched because of the storm and you couldn’t wait to get into some dry clothes. After you showered and changed you came back out and looked through your bag. “Shit” you muttered.
“What’s wrong?” Percy asked, stopping his way to the bathroom.
“Nothing, I just… forgot to bring another sweater” you explained, stroking your arms with your hands. “Do you think the heater works?”
“Well, for the looks of it, it seems it’s already on so… I’m gonna say no” he informed you.
“Perfect” you said, shaking a little.
“You can have my sweater” he offered.
“Oh, n-no that’s okay, Percy. I’m fine” you smiled, sitting on the bed.
“You’re shaking” he pointed out before he placed his sweater on the other side of the bed. “Honestly, I’m not that cold” he said, walking into the bathroom.
“Um- thanks” you said.
“No problem” he replied before he closed the door.
You grabbed the blue sweater with the ‘P’ on it and brought it to yourself. It smelled like him. You smiled a little, putting it on. This was by far the coziest thing you had ever tried on. But the feeling was short-lived when you heard thunders again. And then, the noise from the room next door. You weren’t exactly sure what it was. But it sounded like people were arguing, loud enough to hear them above the storm outside. And then, things started breaking, mankind you jump, scared. This place made you terrified as soon as you stepped inside, and this definitely didn’t help. You got up and walked over to the chair in the corner, pulling it to place it in front of the door. Not like whoever, or whatever was outside, wouldn’t be able to storm in with magic if they didn’t try, but it made you feel a tiny bit safer.
“Um- P-Percy?” you asked, knocking on the bathroom door.
“Yes?” you heard on the other side of the door.
“Are you almost done?”
“What can you possibly need? You just-” Percy opened the door at the same time a loud thunder roared through the room and the lights flickered off and on just before something else was broken in the room next door.
“Percy! This place is freaking me out! I don’t know if the people next door are fighting or having extremely rough sex, but I think one of them is going to end up dead!”
“Don’t be so dramatic” he rolled his eyes, walking out of the bathroom. “I know it’s not ideal, but we’re only here for one night” he said as you sat on the bed. He turned around and saw you anxiously playing with the sleeves of his sweater. “Look, it’s been a long day” he said, his tone turning soft as he sat next to you. “Let’s just go to sleep and we can get out of here tomorrow early in the morning, okay? I’m sure it will be fine” he said just as something crashed on the wall behind the bed, making you jump closer to Percy.
“O-okay, yeah, let’s just… go to sleep” you nodded, smiling nervously at him. He smiled back at you and got up, taking a pillow and one of the blankets, making your smile drop. “W-wait! What are you doing? Come back to bed!” you begged.
“B-but-”
“Please, Percy! I’ll stay on my side, I promise, it’s just… it’s a bit… comforting knowing that… you’re here” you mumbled, feeling your cheeks burn.
“It… it is?” he asked, feeling his heart beating faster. He wasn’t really someone people came to for comfort. So the fact that you did gave him immense delight.
“Yes” you said, nervously.
“O-okay” he said, getting on one side of the bed.
“Thank you” you smiled at him from your side of the bed.
“Did you put a chair in front of the door?”
“Just go to sleep Weasley” you rolled your eyes.
You kept tossing and turning, completely unable to sleep. Between the thunderstorm outside and all of the noises you heard inside, you were unable to even close your eyes. You turned around to see Percy on the other side who was peacefully sleeping. You assumed growing up with a big family probably made him used to this ruckus and still able to sleep. You slowly moved a little closer to him, reaching out for his hand. You were about to grab his hand when a loud thunder woke him up.
“Merlin’s sake!” he said, as his hand looked for you. “Are you okay?” he asked, pulling you closer.
“I am” you said, pulling him closer.
“Did I wake you?”
“No… I haven’t… been able to sleep” you admitted.
“Why?” he asked, confused.
“I don’t know” you replied. After a moment of silence, you asked. “Percy… why don’t you like me?”
“What?” he asked, confused, pulling away from you so he could see you.
“I was just… wondering…” you shrugged. “I know you asked if someone else could come with you on this assignment” you told him. “And you didn’t even feel comfortable sharing a bed with me and I don’t know, I just wanted to know if I did something or say something that upset you-”
“What? No!” he sighed. “I- I’m sorry if that’s how I made you feel. I just didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable” he said.
“You’ve never made me feel uncomfortable, Percy” you smiled shyly at him.
“Really? That’s… kind of my thing” he said, making you laugh a little.
“Don’t sell yourself short, Weasley” you chuckled.
“I’m not! I mean, you’ve met my brothers, everyone loves them and I’m always sort of… the odd one out” he said with a hint of sadness in his voice.
“Well, I’ll admit all of your brothers are fun and… very loud” you laughed, making him smile. “But that doesn’t mean that you’re not special in your own way” you informed him.
“Really? You think I’m special?” he asked, trying to hide his nervousness.
“Well yeah, to me you always stood out. I mean, who do you think I’d notice more? The five loud redheads, or the only quiet one?”
“You n-noticed me?” he asked, as his heart started racing, you could feel it as your hand rested against his chest.
“I’ve always noticed you, Perce” you smiled sweetly at him.
“W-well, for the record, the only reason why I asked that I asked if someone else could cover this assignment with me wasn’t that I don’t like you” he started. “I just… thought it was really boring and I didn’t want you to well… think that I’m more of a nerd than you already probably do” he chuckled nervously.
“Well, I have news for you, Percy” you said, shifting closer to him and you felt his arm wrap around your waist. “I’ve always known you’re a big nerd and it hasn’t made me like you any less” you smiled. Even in the dark, you knew he was blushing.
“I l-like you too” he managed to say out loud. “C-can I kiss you?”
“Weasley, I thought you’d never ask” you smiled before he closed the gap between you and placed his lips softly against yours. You felt him smile against your lips and you started kissing him deeper, until you heard something smashing against the wall, making Percy quickly wrap his arms around you and pull you closer.
“I promise we’re out of here first thing in the morning” he told you, kissing your forehead.
“It wasn’t that bad after all” you smiled, kissing him again before you rested your head on his chest and he kissed the top of your head.

Word Count: 1,628
Category: Fluff

"This is why you're my best friend."
I grinned as Oliver Wood, my regular partner in crime, whispered from next to me in the secret passage where we crouched. Normally, we were partners in Quidditch-based crime, coming up with the most amazing plays to destroy our opponents on the field. We'd been doing it since first year, even before anyone had been willing to listen to us and our Quidditch opinions.
Now, however, we were partners in crime in something that fit our Beater pair more than either of us. But with a match against Slytherin on the horizon and them playing ridiculous, cheaty mind games, I'd convinced Oliver to join me in doing the same.
We were going to get back at them by getting in their heads, the same way they'd been spending time trying to get in ours. And as soon as Marcus Flint came around the corner, ideally with a few other members of his team, our hovering bubbles of water and flour would drop down on them from the ceiling and our revenge would begin.
Thankfully, we didn't have to wait much longer. As we'd expected, Flint came into the hallway with his Beaters trailing him. Oliver and I waited for the perfect moment, then with a wave of our wands, dropped the balloons and flour smack onto their heads.
They froze in their tracks, horror on their faces, before they looked around wildly and angrily. Oliver and I shared a maniacal grin, then took off running in opposite directions as planned as Flint roared.
"WHO DID THAT?"
Oliver disappeared up the secret corridor as I popped into the hallway with the Slytherins, drawing their attention before disappearing around the corner of a castle hallway. Ideally neither of us would get caught, but Oliver was the Quidditch captain, so we needed to make sure he didn't get blamed for this lest the whole team be punished. Hence my part.
I could hear the footsteps of the Slytherins pounding against the cobblestones behind me, but I just cackled and picked up the pace, racing ahead. I flew around another corner, intending to put on a little more speed, but stopped dead in my tracks thanks to an unexpected obstacle. Percy Weasley, Oliver's roommate and one of my friends since first year, was walking down the hallway, completely oblivious of me and the angry Slytherins on my trail.
"Whoa! Y/N, what are you-"
"No time! Come with me, hurry!" I cried, grabbing Percy's arm and dragging him along after me. He immediately slowed me down, and if we kept going at this pace, Flint and his friends would catch us for sure.
Time for plan B.
I readied my wand and leveled it at the nearest door off the corridor, blasting it open before ducking inside, dragging Percy with me. I quickly shut the door behind us, relocking it with magic and then freezing to avoid making noise that would give us away.
"Really, Y/N, what on earth-"
"Percy, sh!" I said, raising my finger to my lips and staring him down with wide eyes. He didn't look completely pleased, but he listened, settling in to stare at me with his arms crossed while I watched the door.
I thought that would be that, but then Percy grabbed my arm to turn my attention back to him, one eyebrow raised almost into his hairline in demanding question. I sighed, then leaned in to whisper in his ear.
In the back of my mind, I realized just how closely together that put us, chest to chest in this tiny dark storage closet. I tried my best to force that train of thought to be quiet, especially since I was sure Percy didn't feel the same as I did.
"The Slytherins have been messing with our Quidditch team worse than usual," I whispered. "So, I'm helping my best friend by getting them back. We set a trap with water balloons and flour in the hallway, dumped it right on Flint's head, and got the Beaters too. After I triggered the prank, I took off and they chased. I ran into you, dragged us both in here so we wouldn't get caught, and now we're waiting for them to pass."
I leaned back at bit to gauge Percy's reaction, and for just a second, I thought I saw a faint blush on his cheeks through the dark. Then, I noticed his deep frown.
"What were you thinking!" he hissed, at least remembering to keep his voice down this time. "You know I'm the Head Boy, don't you? I have to get you in trouble for this!"
"Or..." I started, giving Percy a little smile as an idea came to me. He raised his eyebrows, still looking a little outraged, so I continued. "Percy, did you actually see me do anything wrong?"
"...Well, no. But I just heard you confess to dropping water balloons on the Slytherins-"
"Percy. I just saved you from an angry Marcus Flint, who absolutely had it coming, by the way. For once in your life just be chill."
He stared at me, stress written on every single line of his face, then finally sighed, his shoulders falling as he closed his eyes.
"Okay."
"Wait, really?"
He looked at me again, clearly incredibly tired of my nonsense. Maybe he was just trying to fake me out...
"Really, Y/N. I... you made a decent enough argument that I suppose, just this once..." he cleared his throat and rubbed at the back of his neck, and this time I definitely caught him blushing. "I suppose I can let it go."
"I freaking love you," I laughed, flinging my arms around him and pulling him in tight for a hug. He froze like a statue, then slowly, wrapped his arms around my waist. As he did, I realized what I'd just said, and I felt heat rising to my own face, too.
We stayed like that for a few beats, part of me not wanting to pull away and deal with the tension now blanketing this closet. After a moment, though, I did, slowly. Percy didn't drop his arms from around my waist, and I left mine around his neck as we made eye contact, all the humor and lightness gone.
"Percy..." I breathed. I glanced down at his lips before I could stop myself, and when I quickly looked back up after realizing what I'd done, I found Percy's gaze had wandered to my lips, too.
I smiled to myself, then leaned in and kissed him without letting myself think twice about it. I'd had a crush on Percy since fifth year, and Oliver had spent all of that time telling me to stop being a chicken and just ask him out. Now, two years later, I was finally managing to do just that.
Percy kissed me back as soon as he'd realized what was happening, and I smiled into the kiss. After a moment we pulled away, and I met Percy's eyes, wide with shock but a small smile on his face. I was practically glowing.
"You just kissed me," he said, like he still couldn't quite believe it. I nodded.
"I sure did. And I'm gonna do it again."
Percy huffed a quiet, happy laugh, then met me half way as I leaned back in towards him. Marcus Flint and the angry Slytherins were completely forgotten as I ran one hand through Percy's hair at the base of his neck, and he wrapped his arms even tighter around me.
"Hey, I think it's finally safe for you-"
Percy and I jumped apart and whirled around as the door flew open, revealing Oliver. I guess he'd come to find me once the danger of the Slytherins had passed, unfortunately for me. Oliver, Percy, and I stared at each other with wide eyes for a few moments, and then Oliver's face broke into a grin.
"FINALLY! I've had to spend years hearing you talk about Percy nonstop, only to go to bed and hear Percy talking about you until I hit him with a pillow!"
Percy and I exchanged a glance. I couldn't believe that all this time, he'd been just as hung up on me as I'd been on him.
"Alright, I don't need to see the lovey-dovey stuff even though I'm happy for you," Oliver said, putting his hand back on the door and taking a step back into the hallway. "Y/N, don't be late for practice. I expect to see you on the field in twenty minutes."
With that, he slammed the door again, leaving Percy and I alone in the small, dark space.
"You... you've talked to Oliver about me?" asked Percy, hesitant hope in his voice. I smiled.
"Of course. He's my best friend, and I've had a crush on you for years."
Percy beamed. "So have I."
"Well, I'm glad we finally got that cleared up then," I said, taking Percy's hand in the dark. It was amazing neither of us were literally glowing with happiness. "So... maybe we could do something this weekend? A date, or something?"
"I'd love that," he replied. "It's a Hogsmeade weekend, so perhaps some tea?"
"That sounds perfect." I leaned in to kiss him again, a short peck on the lips, then I pulled back and flung the closet door open. "I need to go or I'm going to be late to practice, and then Oliver will kill me, but... I'll see you in the Common Room tonight?"
"I'll see you tonight," he said with a little nod. I beamed back at him, then blew him one last kiss before taking off down the hallway again, headed for the Quidditch pitch outside, still floating on air. My prank on Flint had worked out even better than I'd hoped it would.

What their Amortentia would smell like: Weasley Edition
Tumblr media
All you did was something so harmless. You entered the WWW shop, and explored. Found yourself by the love potions, uncorked it for shits and giggles, and the smell sends you down a rabbit hole
Writing Commissions Open
William ‘Bill’
Tumblr media
The beach. You smell the beach. The warm sand, the cool salt air, and the distant wind of beach flowers. It’s so warm, and inviting. The more you inhale, you smell something else. Marble. You smell cold stone, as if you were in Gringotts. A cooling scent to keep you grounded. A giggle leaves you, as you knew you smelled wet dog in there. You were going to keep that last detail to yourself. But, it did solidify something. He did smell like wet dog after his showers. You damn well knew it. Your Billy Boy.
Charlie
Tumblr media
A smack to the face it was. This intense campfire. Very specifically a camp fire. Not a wood stove, not a fire place. It was a campfire. With those blends of nature, and burning of dried leaves. The smell of a campfire in the dead of night. When your eyes stopped watering from the smoke stench, you could smell something else. It’s almost like berries. Wild berries. A sweet, almost tart, against all that fire. Along with leather. Oh the leather clings to your throat. It stays with you, and hangs. That’s your Charlie alright.
Percy
Tumblr media
Parchment. Parchment, and books. A rather bland scent. You swore you could even smell a freshly corked ink bottle as well. Amongst the paper, you smelled something else. Earth. You smelled earth. Specifically earth that had been freshly rained on. It’s such a soothing scent. Despite its blandness, it was comforting. It’s very familiar, and soothing. Just because it was simple, did not mean it was boring. It was his scent after all. It’s a simplistic, homey, scent. Simple, but never boring. Oh Percy. Your sweet little Percy.
Fred
Tumblr media
Grape. That surprised you. Yes there was the expected. There was the scent of fire, gun powder, everything that defined a fire work. Yet, grape was a surprise. Grape, and tea. Specifically grape tea. There was also this distant taste of night air on the back of your tongue. As if you were enjoying a cup of cold grape tea, during a rainy night time sit on the porch. It was an almost mature scent. Fred? Mature? You were speechless. Yet, you couldn’t deny it. It’s him. It’s him to the smallest accent. Your Freddie.
George
Tumblr media
Oranges. Oranges, and freshly made pastries. Yes, there was that familiar fire work scent, but you also smelled oranges. As if someone made orange cupcakes, and served it with an overly sugary coffee. It very much was a scent of someone waking up early in the morning. Fixing a cup of sugary coffee, with some freshly peeled oranges, while enjoying a freshly baked cookie. It’s so warm, and cozy. As if entering a kitchen, after the Fourth of July party. It’s so homey. Yep, that’s your Georgie.
Ron
Tumblr media
Very fresh, funny enough. Like cut grass, and fresh laundry. It’s just a very homey scent. Like you were home sick, and you finally got to walk in through the front door again. It’s such a soft embrace. Like being hugged, after a rough day. You swear you even smell wool. Like of an old sweater, that’s been loved to death. Very musky, but in a good way. Like someone’s been working hard on a garden all day, and came inside to cool off. It’s such a warm scent. It makes you smile, and feel almost refreshed in a way. It was just right. It was home. Ron was your home, and he can make your day turn out for the better. Even if it’s just a few words. Your Ronnie.
Ginny
Tumblr media
Wind. That’s the first thing that comes to mind. Just that scent of a windy day, where nature is carried through. The soft scents of floral undertones, mixed with fresh grass. There is also the scent of wood. Specifically freshly cut wood. Like someone had been whittling away, and was working hard on a project. Such earthy undertones, amongst the familiar scent of her favorite perfume. She wasn’t much of a girly girl, but that didn’t mean she hated femininity as a whole. Besides, her brother got it for her. That’s when you smiled. This was a scent of a little sister, that was loved so much, and strong in her independence. Oh that Gin Gin.

Percy Weasley / f!muggleborn!Reader 8.1k Words Content Warnings: 18+ Explicit Content; oral sex, fingering, sex, angst, alcohol use. Summary: Just married, you and Percy set off on your honeymoon, but everything seems to be going wrong.
AN: I wrote this specifically for @ellivenollivander but if anyone else is aching for a Percy Weasley reader insert fic, then by all means, enjoy. Love you Elli! Thank you for always being down to simp over this nerd with me ❤️
~~~~~
Percy Weasley was very familiar with the concept of muggle honeymoons, it was something you had gabbed about with great anticipation ever since he had proposed to you two years ago. He knew very well your expectations to fly – not on brooms, mind you – but on a plane, to somewhere warm.
Though he didn’t quite understand the allure of traveling by way of crowded plane to a faraway destination when floo powder or portkey were so much easier and more convenient, not to mention much faster. But he could put aside his reservations if it would make you happy, and he knew that this would.
As a muggle born, you had no knowledge of the wizarding world until you received that special letter via owl, the letter that would change your perception of the world as you knew it. Boarding at Hogwarts for the better part of seven years had you fully immersed in the magical world by the time you had graduated, but integrating was slow at first, and there were many aspects of the muggle world you grew up with that felt just as magical as the wizarding one.
Going home to your family after graduating and spending time with your muggle relatives, you found yourself missing some muggle traditions and technologies, so even though you were now marrying into a pureblooded wizarding family, you were keen on sharing some of those things with your husband to be, and so, although he didn’t understand it, he’d gladly go along with it for you.
The wedding was beautiful and had gone off flawlessly, with use of very minimal magic since a good number of the guests consisted of your muggle family members. Aside from your parents and siblings, no one was any the wiser that the family you were marrying into were magical, even with your new father in law’s insatiable curiosity for common place muggle things that was apparent as he spoke with nearly everyone in your family at the reception.
Percy was nervous the morning leading into your honeymoon. He was a planner, through and through, someone who liked being in control of things and being the one to keep things orderly. He was filled with anxiety as the two of you waited for a taxi to head to the airport. You’d done every bit of the travel planning and no amount of guaranteeing your husband that you knew what you were doing seemed to calm him.
“I don’t understand why we need this little book to travel as muggles. The wizarding way is so much more streamlined.” He said as he thumbed through the pages of his very first passport.
“Of course the wizarding way is more streamlined, when you’re the head of the transportation department,” You said, a sharp exhale of a laugh leaving your mouth. “But this is… more about the experience.” You told him. “Just try to relax and enjoy the ride.”
You knew that this would be easier said than done for Percy. Bracing yourself with your hand at the small of his back, you leaned up and pressed a kiss to his cheek in reassurance. He let out a deep breath through his nose as his lips curved into a little grin, his stern face softening a bit, just for you.
As the taxi parked on the street in front of you, Percy loaded the car boot with what was, in his opinion, far too much luggage. One enchanted trunk would have made much more sense to him, but you informed him how suspicious that might look should your luggage be chosen for inspection. These muggle policies sounded too strict for him, but he held his tongue and reminded himself that you were the expert in this department.
The taxi ride to the airport started perfectly ordinarily, the radio broadcasting a football game, the cabbie very passionately reacting to the plays as they were announced. Though, when the driver asked Percy about his opinions on the match, you had to elbow him in the arm to keep him from mentioning Quidditch as the only sport he had any interest in. Your husband was flush with embarrassment, and couldn’t get out of the taxi quickly enough when it arrived in the drop off lane outside of the airport.
The taxi ride was the easy part. Percy had thought he was familiar with large crowds, working at the ministry of magic, but nothing prepared him for the scene inside of the airport. Droves of people everywhere, rushing between terminals, queuing up for security screenings and swarming the food court. Despite the masses, it seemed like everyone knew exactly where they were supposed to be. Except him. He gave you a look that said ‘are you bloody serious’ as you took his hand and led him to the check in counter.
The whole process of checking in, checking bags, and going through seemingly endless security queues took hours. Hours you’d accounted for, or at least, you thought you had… But at every step of the way, there seemed to be a holdup that you hadn’t been expecting. By the time you’d both made it through the final security checks, your flight had already completed boarding, and through the window at your terminal, your plane could be seen taxiing to the runway, preparing to take off.
The sudden contrast between the two of  you currently standing still - you staring out the window in silence - versus the rushing and darting through the crowds only minutes prior, tipped Percy off to the fact that something was now off.
“Is everything alright? Was this just one of those ‘hurry up and wait’ situations?” He wondered, shifting his weight as he scanned your face, puzzled.
“I wish it was.” You say, nervous to actually explain the current predicament. You knew your husband very well and you knew that missing an important flight would certainly put him into a terrible mood. “Don’t be angry…”
“Oh dear.” Percy said, letting out an exasperated sigh, his entire head lolling to one side in annoyance as he looked at you. “Just tell me.”
“We missed the flight.” You said and your lips pulled into a tight line, holding your breath, as you nervously watched the look of disbelief wash over your husband’s face.
“You cannot be serious.” He said, shaking his head, physically biting his bottom lip to keep himself from spouting out ‘I told you so’ about why traveling magically would have been the better way to go.
“I’m sorry, that family in front of us at security, they held everything up, but I’m sure we can get another flight soon. I’ll take care of it, okay? I promise it’ll work out.”
Percy nodded, but remained silent, stewing in his head, remembering that if he had nothing nice to say, he best say nothing at all. He gestured towards the nearest gate desk for you to lead the way to a solution.
Your husband stood behind you, his arms folded in front of his chest as you spoke to the woman behind the desk, and rebooked your tickets to the next flight. It would be a few hours, but your thoughts were all of relife - things could have been much worse - and now the two of you had time to grab a bite to eat and relax from the hectic morning rush.  So, that’s what you did.
Following lunch, Percy delved into a book he had in his carryon bag. It was easier for him to not vent his frustrations at you when he had another outlet for his attention, and realistically he knew that making a fuss wouldn’t help anything. There was nothing to be done but wait for the next flight. You sat at his side flipping through a magazine as the time slipped by.
Second time round, the two of you were more than ready, boarding promptly when your group was called, finding your seats on the plane and getting comfortable and ready for the flight. With the travel plans back on track, Percy was in a much better mood now.
The flight was smooth, and beautiful. Percy took the window seat, and you delighted in watching his expressions as he looked out over the clouds, much higher up than he’d thought was conceivably possible. When he turned back to meet your eyes wanting to share this with you, you knew he understood now - why you’d been so insistent. The sights were better than that any broom ride he’d been on had afforded him before.
The flight was several hours, and though it was only late afternoon, both of you slept a fair amount, neither of you having gotten a great nights rest the night before… Anticipation for you, anxiety for Percy. But now things were falling into place, and after a long and well deserved nap, the two of you woke up to the sensation of the plane landing and pilot’s voice over the intercom giving the local time.
Having missed your initial flight, your checked bags were not on the conveyor amongst the rest when you deboarded, and instead the two of you made your way to the baggage claim counter when you anticipated your luggage being held in an office somewhere, awaiting your arrival. And such was the case, for your luggage, at least. The stuffy and uninterested woman behind the counter could offer no explanation as to why Percy’s luggage number was not pulling up a result in her system. She said that they’d contact the number on file if it turned up. If. The word had your husband chewing his cheek while the woman disappeared back into the office to grab your bag for you.
“Brilliant.” He said, his voice thick with sarcasm as he stood beside you as you waited to the side of the counter for the woman to return. “Just bloody brilliant.”
“It’s just clothes and toiletries. We’ll stop quickly and grab you a few outfits and some things and it’ll be fine. You have your carry on with your documents, yeah? It’ll be alright.” You assure him.
“Toiletries… clothing… my wand.” He said, becoming progressively more agitated as he spoke.
“Oh…” You mutter, looking at the floor, a pit in your stomach as you remembered that his wand had been carefully packed away in his checked bag.
“Oh indeed. Pick up a new one at the resort, shall we?” He asked sarcastically and let out a deep sigh, his arms crossed in front of his chest. He was struggling to keep his voice at an acceptable level to be speaking to his wife with.
“It’s just a week… I’m sorry.”
“An entire week that I'll feel like I'm without a part of my body.” He says, shaking his head.
The office door squeaked open and the clerk reappeared, with your luggage in tow, and you took the handle from her, pulling your bag alongside you. The woman informed you both that she double checked for Percy’s missing bag, and as her computer system indicated, it was not in the holding area. She offered up an apology for any inconvenience before returning to her post behind the desk and moving on to the next customer in her ever growing line.
“That’s it then? We just have to hope they’ll call you? Absurd.” Percy said, following you away from the counter and towards the lobby, his exasperation clear with every breath he took.
“I’m sure they’ll find it. Just… calm down. It won’t help things, you being angry.” You tell him, squeezing his hand in yours as the two of you make your way through the crowded airport, him pulling your luggage in his other hand.
“No, I suppose it won’t.” He said, letting out a long breath in an attempt to calm himself. “Let’s just go and replace my things, and get to relaxing at the resort.”
You nodded in agreement and led him through the airport and outside, where the two of you caught one of the circling taxis waiting to collect arriving travelers.
You were itching to get to the resort the two of you had chosen for your honeymoon destination, but the first stop was to a nearby shopping center to replace some of Percy’s things that had been lost by the airline. The two of you divided and conquered, with him heading to one shop for toiletries and you to another, grabbing him a few outfits and swim trunks. Being in a tourist town, there was no shortage of cabs around, shuttling vacationers between the resorts, shops, and restaurants. Despite being able to catch a ride easily, and the ride being short, Percy had never wanted to apparate somewhere more in his life. The cab rides, being ‘part of the experience’ as you’d put it, were just tedious to him. While finally on the way to the resort you assured him that this would likely be the last cab ride for the week, as everywhere else you’d go on the trip would be walking distance around the resort. This knowledge made him smile. He could do without the small talk to cab drivers.
The cab dropped the two of you off at the front entrance of the resort, you walked as you dug through your bag for your wallet to check in with, and Percy followed alongside you with your luggage and shopping bags in tow.
The plus side of having missed your initial flight, you were desperately looking for plus sides at this point, was what would have been yet another long line at the front desk during prime check in time now looked like it should be a quick and easy process. The lobby, while still rather crowded, mostly consisted of vacationers heading to and from the many on site restaurants or simply cutting through as they made their way to other amenities. The check in line was short, and before you knew it, the two of you were in front of a receptionist.
“Good evening, checking in?” The woman behind the desk asked, looking at you from over the rim of her glasses.
“Yes, the last name on the reservation is Weasley.” You told the woman and she began typing on the computer in front of her.
She looked at the screen, puzzled for a moment, before asking, “Can you spell that name for me please?”
You do, and watch as the receptionist double checks the information on her screen against the spelling you’d provided her, growing concerned when she didn’t speak up for what seemed like too long. You glanced to your husband and you could see on his face that he was as concerned as you were.
“Is there something wrong with the reservation?” Percy asked.
“The system shows you’ve already checked in. Did one of you perhaps complete the online check in form?” The receptionist asked the both of you.
“No, neither of us.” You answered without needing to check with Percy, who would have learning to navigate the muggle internet at the absolute bottom of his to-do list.
“It shows that check in was completed at 11:42 AM today.” The woman said.
“We were still traveling at that time, it wasn’t us. We’ve had a crazy day, missed our first flight, and had to replace luggage. We weren’t here at that time, there has to be an error in your system.” You tell her, doing your best to keep your tone even and calm, doing all  of the talking because you knew Percy would struggle with resolving this kindly after the day he’d had… though you wouldn't have been able to blame him at this point.
“I’ll have a member of our staff go check into the problem for you right now.” The receptionist assured you both. “Please, feel free to drop your luggage with our bell service team and take a look around the resort, we’ll call you shortly when we figure this out.” She said, and confirmed your contact number on file.
Without much other choice, you give her a nod and you and Percy head over to the bell service counter, where another member of the resort's staff greets you, accepts your luggage, and tags it with your name and phone number. The man took your luggage and shopping bags into a secure room just off the lobby to hold until your room situation was smoothed over.
As you and your husband walked away from the counter together, you turned to him, taking his hand and running your thumb over his knuckles softly. “Shall we get a drink while we wait?”
“Absolutely. It’s a necessity at this point.” He replied, his signature little smirk on his face, glad you’d proposed the idea. But behind his grin you could see that he was drained, not only from travel but from the emotional tax of every little mishap that had been piling up all day.
Taking a look around at the directional signs around the lobby, the two of you headed to one of the resort's several bars to rest some and unwind while waiting for a callback from the receptionist.
The bar you’d found yourselves in was a large and brightly yet tastefully decorated space with an airy atmosphere, the exterior walls open to the beach and offering a  beautiful view of the nighttime sky and of the ocean. It was crowded, but open enough to not feel cramped or uncomfortable, which was a welcomed feeling after spending much of the day either in the back seats of cabs or strapped into the plane’s seats.
Percy ordered a whiskey while you opted for a fruity, frozen drink that made your husband shake his head in amusement at the sheer size of the thing as it was placed in front of you.
“I’ve got to admit, as long as it took to finally get here, I can appreciate the offerings. It’s lovely, isn't it?” Percy said, then took a long look out through the open air walls at the moonlight reflecting off of the gently rolling waves.
“It is.” You agreed. You’d wanted to say more, to whisper into his ear how you’d hoped to lay alone in the sand with him that night, under the stars, but your thought was interrupted when your cell phone buzzed. Knowing it would be the receptionist in the lobby, you answered, and stepped away from the bar to a quieter area to hear the woman better.
You listened to the woman on the other end, your stomach sinking as she explained the situation. Another couple, with an incredibly similar last name, was unfortunately assigned the suite attached to your reservation, thanks to an error by a new employee who failed to thoroughly check the identification of the other party when they’d shown up earlier that day.
Any other day, any other trip, you’d have been much more inclined to forgive such an error. But this was your honeymoon, and you’d booked a very well appointed suite for the occasion, which, to add further insult to injury, the resort would be unable to match with another suite.
The only other suite on offer was the one the other couple had booked for themselves, surely a nice room by anyone’s standards, but not the honeymoon suite you’d been looking forward to. The receptionist apologized profusely for their error. She let you know she’d already issued a partial refund for the discrepancy of the suite prices, and offered recompense in the form of free meal and drink credits, which you accepted, before ending the phone call so you could further ruin Percy’s day with the news.
When you returned to your seat at the bar beside your husband, his glass of whiskey was almost empty, for which you were thankful, as it would hopefully lessen the sting of the news.
“Was that the receptionist?” He asked you as you slid into your seat and took a long sip of your cocktail.
“It was.” You say and sigh in exasperation. “A newer employee accidentally checked the wrong couple into our suite. Apparently they had a very similar last name.”
 “Are you serious? Bloody hell, the incompetence! How difficult is it to check someone’s identification?” He asked, his voice raised slightly, not at you but at the situation. He shook his head and downed the rest of his whiskey, sliding the empty glass towards the edge of the bartop and nodding to the bartender, indicating his need for another.
“I know,” You say and watch him sip his fresh drink. “They credited us for some food and drinks, and refunded the cost difference between the suites. And I’ve been assured that the other suite is still very nice.”
“Of course they said that, they aren't going to tell you one of their rooms is anything but nice.” He said with an eye roll, not completely satisfied with how the resort staff had handled it all.. “They couldn’t have upgraded us?”
“She said there was no other availability. But, that suite is ready, our bags are getting dropped off there now. We can go get the key cards and make our way there.”
“Soon.” He said and sipped his whiskey, fully intending to take his time to enjoy the drink, hoping that by the time he hit the bottom of another glass, the buzz would dampen the blow of the downgrade.
“The suite will be nice. The resort is nice. And we’ve got each other, which is what matters most.” You say, meaning every word, and sipping your quickly melting cocktail. You give him a soft and reassuring smile. “I just don’t want to see you angry.” You tell him softly.
“It’s been a day, yeah? It’s been one thing after another, after another. I think I’ve got a bit of a right to be less than chipper.”
You exhaled the faintest breath of a chuckle, shrugging your shoulders and sipping your cocktail to keep from escalating his frustration with your own sass. Aside from the airline losing only his luggage, you’d been every bit as affected by today's parade of misfortune. But it was still your honeymoon, and you didn’t want to encourage his pissy mood, whether it was warranted or not.
Instead, you finished your drink, as he finished his. You could tell he was stewing in the silence, in anxious anticipation to see your new suite for the week. You led the way back to the lobby, where the same woman from before was waiting behind the counter to greet you both. She apologized again, as she gathered your room keys and tucked them into a brochure about the resort. She gave you directions to your room, and the two of you made your way there.
Your luggage and shopping bags were in the entryway of your suite when you opened the door. You were excited as you looked around. Though it wasn’t the exact suite you’d planned on, as promised, this one was beautiful and would surely make for a perfect home base for your honeymoon. The bed was large, with soft linens and many plush pillows. Atop the table was a basket containing a bottle of wine, chocolates, other little snacks and various goodies, along with a card from the check in staff which once again offered apologies. It was a nice gesture.
The room had many of the same amenities as the one you’d initially booked, the most notable difference being the lack of the private infinity pool on your private terrace, which was admittedly pretty disappointing. But in your usual fashion, always one to balance out your husband’s moods, you focused on the positives.
Finally able to relax and enjoy, you skipped right over to the bed and tossed yourself onto it, landing on your back, letting out a content hum as you sank against the soft bedding. “This is nice, practically perfect.” You said and gestured with your finger for your husband to come to you, and he does. His eyes shifted around the room while taking it all in. He nodded in agreement with you, that the suite was more than acceptable, even if it wasn't your first choice of the resort's options. He climbed up on the bed beside you and let himself collapse with a deep groan at the instant comfort, truly worn out from the long day of travel. He laid an arm across your abdomen, pulling you to him at your waist for a cuddle while you flipped through the brochure the woman at the reception desk had given you.
“The pools and hot tubs are open til midnight.” You inform him, shooting him a grin with a glance that - had his eyes been open - he’d have seen was absolutely devilish.
He hummed in acknowledgement, his eyes still closed and his glasses askew with the frame pressing against the mattress where his head rested.
“Let’s go sit in the hot tub and order one more drink, it’ll be relaxing.” You suggest.
“I’m already quite relaxed, right here.” He muttered, one of his eyes peeking open at you while his hand at your waist pulled you a bit closer.
“Percy.” You whine his name, a pout on your lips that he could picture perfectly without even having his eyes open.
“Darling.” He mirrored your tone, a smirk curling his lips, teasing you. But when he finally opened his eyes and looked into yours, your puppy dog expression tugged at his heartstrings and broke his resolve and he relented. “Fine.”
You were giddy as you rolled towards him, kissing his nose with a triumphant smirk. Tired as you were as well, you were more excited to explore the resort and enjoy the atmosphere it had to offer. To listen to the waves and smell the warm and breezy salty air.
You sprang up from the bed as though you hadn’t spent the entire day becoming gradually more jetlagged, and extended your husband your hands, wanting to pull him from the bed as well, which he allowed.
You dug your swimsuit from your luggage while Percy looked through the shopping bags for the hastily purchased replacement from the shops from earlier that evening. This process seemed to serve as a reminder to him that he was without his initial luggage, still not having heard from the airline. If he’d looked grumpy about getting out of bed after finally lying down, he was only more so now.
You started changing before Percy had even gotten to the large glass doors to your terrace to draw the curtains.
“No one was going to see.” You chuckle.
“They won’t now.” He scolded, though his eyes told you he knew you were likely right.
Once the both of you were changed, you gave the map inside of the resort brochure another onceover, and the two of you headed out the front door to your suite, and began making your way to the closest of the resort's several pool areas.
For being so late in the evening, the pool area was still quite occupied with other couples. Thankfully though, both the pool and hot tub were sprawling and spacious, and it wasn’t difficult to find a place to sit together in said hot tub after making a stop at the poolside bar to grab one last drink for the evening.
Between your whispered voice and the ambient music playing through hidden speakers mixed with the landscaping around the pool deck, the other couple seated nearest to you were out of earshot and were quite preoccupied in their own intricacies.
You sat closely beside Percy, your thigh pressed to his, and his arm around your shoulder, each of you with a drink in hand. Finally. It felt like after all of the bumps along the way in your travel, you were now getting to truly relax and enjoy your husband after a tense day. You were feeling your cocktail and it was obvious by the way Percy’s lips brushed your neck below your ear as he spoke that his inhibitions were unusually low as well. He punctuated his soft whispers into your ear with kisses to your skin, the feeling giving you chills even in the steaming water.
You turned your head towards him so that his lips grazed yours, and he set his drink down, bringing his now free hand to the side of your face, pulling your head closer as he deepened your kiss. You felt a rush of desire flow through your veins at his public show of affection, as this kind of behavior was so rare for him. You ran with it though, relishing how carefree and in the moment he was being, and you kissed him back with fervor.
Long forgotten was the fact that the two of you weren’t alone. Whether or not anyone was watching didn't matter. Your only thoughts were keeping up with the pace he was setting, the way his mouth captured your quickening breath, and the warm taste of whiskey on his tongue as yours tasted his. Your pulse raced against his palm as he held your face at your neck, keeping you close. You felt his teeth at your bottom lip, sending you out of your mind with desire at the intensity of his kiss. You let your hand fall from his shoulder, sinking through the bubbling hot water and settling on his lap, where your fingers found him at attention, grazing against his erection beneath the water and out of view. He gasped with the contact, his inhale of breath parting your kiss for a moment. With intention this time, you palmed over his length, groping him over his swim trunks with a devious grin on your face, leaning in, wanting your lips to connect again.
The last thing you were expecting after such a passionate moment between the two of you, was for him to lean back, away from your advance. In a split second, Percy seemed to come to his typical senses, realizing rather suddenly that the setting was inappropriate for what was happening between the two of you.
“Are you out of your bloody mind?” He hissed, looking at you as though you had three heads, while moving your hand off of him under the water.
You quickly glanced around, making sure no one had been paying attention, before looking back at your husband, confused and rather hurt by his sudden change in tone. “No? What’s wrong? It’s fine, no one’s paying us any mind.” You say.
“It doesn’t matter!” He snipped, his voice hushed and cold. “You can’t do that to me here, there’s people around, are you insane?”
You didn’t have the words for a response, your mouth hanging open, still surprised that he was even complaining right now when he had been the one to kiss you in such a way. You were convinced he was overreacting. You were just being cheeky. It wasn’t as if you were going to climb onto his lap and fuck him in the hot tub for all to see.
Although, you couldn’t say you hadn’t at least fantasized about it.
It wasn’t until he grabbed his drink from the side of the pool deck and downed it, then started exiting the hot tub, swiftly wrapping his waist in a towel, clearly intending to head back to the room, that you understood  you’d really upset him, whether you’d meant to or not.
“Percy, please! I’m sorry!” You said as he began walking away, while  climbing out of the hot tub yourself. You grabbed your towel and your drink and headed after him, catching up with him quickly. Not wanting to argue as you made your way all through the resort, you bit your tongue and walked swiftly, keeping up with your husband until the two of you made it back into your suite.
“Percy, look, I didn’t mean to upset you, I was just trying to have a bit of fun.” You try to rationalize, setting your drink on the counter of the kitchen while trying to dry yourself off.
Your words seemed to fall on deaf ears. He dried himself off, grabbed a pair of boxers and a t-shirt from the shopping bags near the dresser, as well as the toiletries he’d picked up, and headed into your suite's bathroom, shutting the door behind him. Moments later you heard the shower kick on, and you were left alone in the living area of the suite to stew in your feelings on the matter. You’d never meant to upset him, and now he wouldn’t even listen.
You sat wrapped up in the plush resort towel at the table off the kitchen, and waited for him to come out, wanting a shower yourself before changing and laying down for the night. You  were scrolling your phone anxiously when he finally emerged from the bathroom some time later, steam from his shower wafting out of the door with him. You looked at him with pleading and sorrowful eyes, even if you didn’t think you’d done something to justify this reaction from him, the last thing you wanted was for your brand new husband to be upset with you on your honeymoon.
He strode across the room towards the bed and sat on one edge, his curls damp and laying against his forehead in a way that made you just want to push your fingers through them. You followed and sat down beside him.
“Please don’t be angry with me. I never wanted to upset you.” You said softly. “I was just being cheeky. I thought you’d like it, with the way you were kissing me… But I wasn’t going to push things any further.”
He shook his head. “That wasn’t cheeky, it was inappropriate. Not only that, but you knew I didn't even want to go to the hot tubs tonight in the first place, I’m exhausted. I wanted to relax. You just pushed, and pushed, like it was all about you.”
You looked at him stunned, realizing this ran much further to him that you’d even realized. You felt terrible, and the look on your face conveyed as much. “I’m so, so sorry Percy.”
He nodded, and took his glasses off, setting them on the bedside table beside him, signalling to you that he was more or less done with this conversation, and going to sleep. You got up, so that he could lay in, and he shut off the lamp closest to him. Not wanting to make anything worse at the moment, you grabbed yourself lounging clothes to change into, and headed into the bathroom for your own shower and to get ready for bed.
You took your time in the shower, thinking about what he’d said. You had not expected to have your first argument as a married couple on the very first day of your honeymoon. You stayed in the bathroom, and in your head, for longer than you’d anticipated, and when you came out dressed for bed, Percy appeared to be asleep. You shut off the remaining lights around the room and climbed into bed beside your husband, your weight shifting on the mattress beside him making him stir. You were aching to scoot close and wrap him in your arms, pull him against you, bury your nose in those curls… But his words still sat heavy in your mind… Scared to push anything more on him, you turned the other way and closed your eyes.
Your sleep was fitful that night, with an absence of dreams. When you awoke late the following morning, your eyes fluttered open to see that Percy’s side of the bed was empty. This was not an uncommon occurrence for the two of you. He was frequently early to bed and early to rise. Earlier than you, anyway.  Still, you couldn't help but wonder what kind of mood you’d find your husband in this morning. You sat up and rubbed your eyes, looking around the room. You didn’t see him.
Pulling the covers back, you flipped your legs out of bed, and got up, peeking out the curtains to your terrace, checking for him. Nothing.
“Percy?” You called as you headed to check the bathroom for him. There was no answer. Door was open, room was empty. Where the hell had he gone?
Your husband didn’t own a cell phone. Despite his own father imploring him to get one (mostly for his own curiosity rather than for practical reasons) and despite the fact that you had one, it wasn’t a purchase he ever felt was worth making. You had no way to contact him to figure out where he’d gone. You scoured every surface of the suite for a note, and came up empty handed. Your mind racing and concern growing by the minute, you got yourself dressed and ready quickly, and headed out into the resort to look around for him, hoping maybe he’d just headed to check out the included breakfast offerings.
This was not the way you’d envisioned exploring the resort - searching for your husband. The resort was sprawling and took a good amount of time to walk through. You spent the better part of an hour walking the common areas of the resort, the restaurants that were open for breakfast, the coffee shops, gift shops, and even walking the pool decks closest to your suite, though his swim trunks were left hanging in the bathroom where he’d left them the night before. You’d explored and searched for so long, you were fairly confident that he’d be back in your suite by the time he returned. But he wasn’t. You resigned yourself to waiting for him, anxiously. You were quite worried, and thinking about what could be going on made tears prick your eyes and threaten to spill. Was he still angry? Surely not angry enough to leave without a word. Right?
You’d lost track of the time you spent pacing nervously, picking at the skin around your fingernails, your thoughts spirling, when you heard the door lock beep and the sound of the electronic lock switching open. You stopped and stared at the door as your husband walked through it.
You rushed to him, stopping just short of bumping into him.”Where the bloody hell have you been, percy? I’ve been so worried! Where were you?” Despite being relieved that he was back, your face contorted in anger.
Percy was clearly shocked at your outburst as he entered the suite, his eyebrows knitting together behind the bridge of his glasses. “Well, good morning to you too.” He said, somehow having the audacity to question your reaction to him arriving back.
“Your phone rang while you were asleep. Airline called, said they found my luggage! So I went to the lobby and caught a cab and I went to pick it up. Bell service will be here with it any moment. As though I couldn't wheel my own luggage to our room” He said and chuckled a bit, then added, “But, they were quite insistent.”
You were flabbergast. How was he so nonchalant? Did he truly not realize the tizzy he had you in? “So you just left? You didn't think to wake me, or, I don’t know, maybe leave a note?” You scolded him.
“Well, no, you were asleep and I didn’t want to wake you up and bother you. Can you blame me? You’re rough in the mornings if you’re disturbed.” He said.  “Though I suppose it didn’t cross my mind to leave a note. But it wasn’t like I was gone that long.”
“Not that long? Percy, I woke up to an empty bed and an empty room after you’d gone to bed upset with me! I was really worried!” You vented, your eyes feeling watery again as you explained the extent to which your thoughts had spiraled in his unexpected absence. “You were just so upset yesterday over every little thing that happened, and then last night you said I just pushed and pushed you… I thought you were still angry with me. I thought you’d left.”
Percy took a deep breath in and let out a sigh, and you could tell he understood now, at least enough to apologize. “No! No, no, no.” He said, his tone much softer than you'd expected it to be, even with the remorseful look on his face. He came to you, wrapping you in his arms and resting his chin on the top of your head. “I’m not angry, and I'd never up and leave like that. That’s a promise.” He said, and kissed your forehead. “I’m sorry that I had you worried.”
A knock at the door of your suite interrupted your thoughts. Percy released you from his embrace to get the door, knowing it would be the bellman with his luggage. A moment later, he was dragging his suitcase into the room, then locked the door behind the bellman as he left. Your husband returned to you, taking you in his arms arn rubbing your back gently as you wrapped your arms around his waist.
“I am so, so sorry that my mood yesterday and our little spat last night made you think I’d left in anger this morning.” He said softly, speaking his words against the top of your head while he nuzzled into you. “Yesterday was rough, getting here and all. I was tired and aggravated, and I took it out on you unfairly.”
“And I’m sorry for pushing you so much. I should have listened when you said you were tired and wanted to stay in bed.” You apologized as well.
“You’ve nothing to be sorry for though. You only wanted to spend time with me… and to love me, on our honeymoon. I was being a bit of a bastard. You don’t need to apologize.” He said, pulling back from you slightly and tilting your head up to make eye contact with him. He rest his forehead against yours. “Could you forgive me? I’d like to make it up to you.” He whispered, his breath hot on your skin.
“Of course I forgive you.” You said. His heartfelt apology had you feeling much better, the tension you’d felt since the evening before finally melting away, you relaxed against him, your head against his chest as you hugged him tight.
“Please, let me show you how much I truly appreciate you. Let me take care of you.” He said, his neck leaning down to the crook of your shoulder as he spoke, you could feel his lips against your neck.
You tilted your head up and he met your lips with his, his large hands moving to either side of your face and holding you gently as he captured you in a passionate and tender kiss. Your kiss never broke as he walked you backwards, back towards the bed, guiding you slowly until the backs of your legs were against it. His hands slid down your body, groping your curves until his fingers grazed under the hem of your t-shirt. He raised the garment up , your lips only parting when he pulled the top off over your head. He cast it to the floor and his hands moved down to your hips.
His long fingers gripped at your flesh needily and his lips dragged down your neck and along your throat leaving kisses as he made his way to your collarbone. His teeth grazed your skin there, and you moaned, his breath giving you chills as it hit your kiss dampened skin. Your fingers worked into his curls, cradling his head to your body as his mouth trailed lower. His tongue pressing against one of your nipples as his lips wrapped around it while his fingers teased the other made your knees weak.
Recalling his lips from your body for just a moment to breathe, Percy pulled his own shirt off up over his head and tossed it aside. He pushed you gently back, laying you down onto the mattress and he tugged at the waistband of your lounge pants, pulling them down and off in one steady motion along with your panties. He shed his own bottoms just as swiftly and parted your legs with his hands before crawling up onto the bed in between them.
His arms wrapped around each of your thighs and he kissed from your stomach, down below your navel, taking his time and driving you wild with anticipation while he appreciated your body with his mouth. You were already breathing heavily when his tongue finally ran over your clit, swirling around it in gentle teasing circles, holding off on giving you the pressure you wanted from him while he further built up your desire.
Your body was buzzing with excitement as you watched his face between your legs. He looked up, grinning at you for a moment and removing his glasses, setting them aside on the bed before disappearing between your thighs once more, this time going in with purpose, his lips encircling your clit and sucking on you, making your body convulse. Your fingers sank into those auburn curls of his, running affectionately through his hair as he pleasured you.  The tip of his tongue flitted against you expertly, and he adjusted his position so that he could slip his fingers into your dripping and ready heat while he ate you out.
He sucked at your clit while his fingers curled inside of you, working your most sensitive spots in tandem and making you moan his name and grip his hair tighter the closer to orgasm he brought you. He was thorough and determined to make you cum before taking an ounce of pleasure for himself, and he knew exactly how to bring you to that edge. He let up with his mouth, rubbing you inside vigorously now with an intense pressure that soon had your walls pulsing and tightening around his fingers. Your breath was reduced to shallow gasps and your hips rut against his hand as those waves of pleasure ran over you. He pulled his now sopping hand out from between your thighs and he returned his tongue to your slit, tasting you deeply before he crawled his way up your body, his head hung low and trailing more kisses along your skin as he worked his way up to your lips.
You could taste yourself on his lips through his kiss but it was no deterrent for you. One of his hands made their way back to your face as he kissed you fiercely and the other gripped his length as he ground his hips against you, lining himself up before pressing himself into your heat with the most contented groan. He held you tight, much of his body weight leaning against you as he took up a slow and intentional pace. Your lips stayed connected to his, your hand gripping his curls and ensuring it so, savoring your combined taste on his tongue. Your other arm wrapped around his shoulders, nails grazing his skin and making him shiver as he fucked you.
His pace remained slow and deliberate, it was clear he was intending on taking his time with you, building himself up slowly and wanting to enjoy you for as long as he could before finishing.
Your eyes closed in pure ecstasy as he continued on, his hips thrusting against yours, every one of his movements deep and calculated, until your body was once again writhing beneath him and his motions started to falter as he approached his climax as well. He bit against the side of your neck, your walls clenching around him as your second orgasm hit and it pushed him to finish as well. You could feel his length twitch inside of you while he came, emptying himself while buried deep within you. He laid his body gently to your side, his arms encircling you as the two of you caught your breath together, coming down from your shared release.
In this moment, everything was perfect. You’d practically forgotten why you were upset with him earlier after the way he’d just loved you so thoroughly. You really did feel entirely taken care of.
“I’m glad yesterday is behind us now.” He said breathlessly. “I promise we’ll enjoy every second of the rest of our honeymoon, even if we don’t leave this bed. I love you.”
“I love you too, Percy. Today’s the first full day, we’ll make it count from here.” You replied, after taking a moment to get a full breath.
“Sounds like a plan, love.”
Percy Weasley X reader
Soft/ discourse
Clock Tower
You smiled, nose scrunched as Percy pressed a kiss to your head, parting ways for breakfast. Happily filling your plate at the Slytherin table you mostly tune out to the noise of the hall, occasionally glancing at your boyfriend in a sea of red robes.
As usual you didn't pay pay much attention to the owl mail, at least until there were whispers of a howler. Looking up you watched Errol, old thing carrying a howler.
It wasn't quite a strange sight, the twins got yelled at enough and even Ron had gotten one but Errol carried it over to Percy, this started plenty of whispering seeing as Percy was generally known as the best behaved Weasley of the bunch. Even if you knew he pissed of the professor's with his endless questions, Snape especially and wasn't that entertaining.
The, at this point, well known voice of Molly Weasley silenced breakfast with skill. Honestly the woman probably sent more howlers to her children than the rest of the parents combined. Granted she did have double the amount of children others usually had.
Percy remained mostly un-fussed about his mother's ranting at least until she started insulting you to which his face grew steadily more red. The envelope didn't get to finish spewing insults seeing as it burst into flames with a furious incendio. He paused enough to look furiously at each of his siblings all of which held their hands up in surrender before he left the hall.
Fortunately, for you, you had already decided to simply send a letter when you started dating. Mostly because Draco, younger brother or not, was a little snitch who would have written home as soon as there was even a rumour of you and Percy dating. A handful of letters and the matter had been put to rest. Ultimately mother and father only really cared that you and Draco were happy, though father was less than pleased and mother well she thought it was a phase but didn't care all that much regardless.
Sliding from the bench and grabbing your bag you walk quickly after Percy, knowing by heart his preferred routes through Hogwarts and his favourite places. The hall was whispering still as you left, either about the howler or Percy, he didn't really get angry just frustrated mostly but the Weasley temper wasn't famous for nothing.
Smiling as you got to clock tower you rested on door way just admiring your furious boyfriend for a moment before wandering over to him and bumping him with your hip.
"Hey darling."
"I'm sorry." He mumbled, glancing at you from the corner of his eye.
"Nothing to be sorry for Perc. I know you don't think that about me so I'm not all that bothered." He smiled at you, a small tentative smile, but a smile nonetheless.
"You shouldn't have to listen to it, she shouldn't have insulted you like that." You nudged him until you could wrap him in a hug, him dropping his forehead on your shoulder.
"You weren't too fussed about my father bodily throwing himself at yours a few years ago, I'm hardly going to hold your mothers vitriol against you." He snorted quietly at the reminder but you could feel him smile wider.
"Yes well. Not exactly how I wanted mum and dad to find out. Granted I don't know how they did find out." You shrugged as you both sunk to the floor, Percy pulling you into his side, arm wrapped around you tangling his fingers with yours.
You thought it was probably Ron, smart cookie or no, his mouth ran away from him occasionally and he probably let something slip accidentally. Despite his hatred of Draco and generally dislike of Percy's academic self he didn't really have anything to say about you. Though there was a very amusing attempt at intimidation, attempting to warm you away from hurting Percy last year but he'd been a gangly second year, whose face matched his hair when he got worked up.
"She didn't scare you away?" Percy's tone was teasing but you knew there was actually worry behind his question.
"I love you, Percy. You're stuck with I'm afraid regardless of what your mother thinks." Percy sat up a little straighter blinking in shock.
"You just said you love me." His tone was a bit awed and you turned away a little, taking on the familiar haughty head tilt.
"Maybe, you have no proof." Percy laughed and hugged you tight, you melted into him. He pressed a kiss to you temple with a smile.
"I love you too."
