it circles back to partying. An endless nightmare of a party, yeah, but a party. That's the first thing Bill says to Ford once the cat's out of the bag, that he's going to teach his dimension how to really party.

and then- he does???

he introduces himself and then his entire gang, by name. like a good host. he decorates. he has snacks and drinks. he has games. he has music. he deals with essentially a noise compliant from the (time) cops. he provides, personally, private entertainment for his VIP in a special suite

he does all this with madness bubbles and violence and kidnapping, but Bill welcomes everyone to Weirdmageddon.

it's really really funny that's been the goal all this time

it's also kinda... sad. Bill wants a good time, to be a great host, to keep the party going at all costs-

But the host doesn't get to party, not really.
