Crewfu Queendom AU
Note : Yes, I do mean Queendom. It's the same thing as Kingdom. However, Queendom is when a single queen [or 2] rule over.
Also, the "Scott, Sam, 5up and Tubbo are Brothers AU" and "Ender Dragon!Scott AU" are hinted here as well
- Hafu is the Queen, but generally acts like a citizen
- The Queendom itself doesn't have a large castle but rather a large building towering above the others
- 5up was the first citizen to join Crewfu. He's the most chillest of them all
- He has 3 brothers, two older ones and his younger brother
- Doesn't really talk about his siblings a lot but when he does, he talks about their personalities and the adventures he had with them
- The others come into the Crewfu Queendom later on during the seasons of winter - summer
- Scott, on the other hand, doesn't join the Crewfu since he already has a place in another Kingdom, X-Life. But he travels a lot which is how he came to Crewfu
- When arriving there, 5up immediately recognizes him and invites him to stay with him
- Hafu and the others are completely confused as to how the two know each other
- It later clicks with Tiko [the youngest in the Crewfu] during dinner
- 5up & Scott are related. They're brothers.
"You two are brothers... aren't you?" - Tiko
"Yeah." - Scott & 5up
- Scott talks about his adventures with traveling and even about X-Life and how it is
- Turns out Sam & Tubbo are in a nation called L'manburg
- Scott gets along very well with everyone. He grows comfortable with how he acts around them
- He seems more comfortable around 5up, Peter, Steve and Wolf. The others he still is a little unsure but still gets along with them
- Unfortunately, Scott doesn't stay long and soon has to leave to go back to X-Life
- 5up tries to convince Scott to stay, saying that "He isn't ready to lose contact with another brother."
- Even despite that, Scott informs that he must go. And so he does
Crewfu : Post-Travel!Scott
Slight Angst Time
- Returning to X-Life, Scott was met with an empty Kingdom
- The entire place was destroyed and ransacked, not a single form of life around
- Reaching to the castle itself, the only thing there were the large iron doors, a carving burned onto the front
- The Kingdom was destroyed, and Scott knows who did it. He's seen that engraved logo before while traveling
- Having grabbed what little survived, Scott set out once again
- He made many stops, one of them which being L'manburg
- Tubbo & Sam were shocked to see how tired and worse Scott looked before they split of for their own paths
- Course, they had basically forced him to stay for a week to get his energy back up
- Scott later explained to his brothers that 5up was still alive and that he was heading to the Queendom of Crewfu
- As the week came to an end, Tubbo gave Scott some armor whilst Sam gave him some food and a new bag to carry his items
- With one final hug, Scott set off
Crewfu : Post-Travel!Scott : New
Ender Dragon!Scott AU is mentioned
- Peter was the first one to see Scott at the bottom of the mountain, having just returned from his cave exploring
- Peter immediately called out for 5up, knowing that him and Scott were close and that maybe he can help him out than what little that he can do
- Taking Scott back to his house, 5up informed Peter to go grab a washcloth and bowl, having realized that Scott was running on a fever
- That night, 5up never left his brother's side
- Hafu, being concerned about his and Scott's health, decided to ask if he'll be alright
"He'll be fine, it happens a lot." 5up spoke, keeping his voice hushed as to not wake up Scott.
"I know you two are Brothers. You have any idea why he's back and not at X-Life?" Hafu leaned against the doorframe, crossing her arms over her chest.
"No clue. But by the look of his face, something must have happened. I'll ask him later." 5up looked up to Hafu, his grayish eyes seeming to glow under the moonlight. "You should get some rest, I'll shout if something happens."
- When Scott woke up, 5up tried to get him to say what happened, but nothing came out
- Once Scott did tell him though, 5up couldn't help but grow angry at the people who destroyed his home
- For a long time, Scott stayed with 5up, helping around like organizing and with the farm works
- The farms never looked any better
"You never told us Scott had a green thumb when it comes to farming." - Wolf
"There's a lot to him that meets the eye." -5up
- One day, Tiko asked Scott to 1v1 him
- ... He was immediately taken down by Scott's sharp accuracy with a bow and quick reflexes with dodging and attacking
- When questioned about this, Scott said he used to participate in competitions and had won 2 games before. And also because his little brother, Tubbo, would train with him
- So now, whenever someone needs some practice, they come up to Scott
- Feeling a lot more comfortable now, Scott started to express his true personality; sassy with a hint of flirt. But underneath that sassy personality, he was kind and understanding
- [Hinted ED!Scott AU] Tiko would sometimes see Scott's eyes flash purple when he was angry. But when Tiko ask Scott about it, he'll just say that he's "seeing things"
- [Hinted ED!Scott AU] Once Sips fell off the Bridge and Scott had to quick reflex dive down and catch him before he died
- Scott still travels but he always comes back to Crewfu

Introduction Nurses are the most available health care workers in most sub Saharan nations. In Cameroon, the nurse patient ratio stands at 7.8 10.000 populations, predisposing them to work under relatively difficult conditions. As frontline healthcare providers, nurses perform a major role in patient handling, a task which predisposes them to Work Related Musculoskeletal injuries especially injuries to the back, neck and shoulders. This often occurs because of the absence of an Occupational Health and Safety OHS team in most health facilities, to monitor the working environment. There is paucity of research work on this area in Cameroon. This paper seeks to determine the prevalence of Work related Musculoskeletal Disorders WMSDs , and also to identify potential risk factors amongst nurses working in four randomly selected health facilities in the Buea and Tiko health districts in the South West Region of Cameroon. Methods The study involved a cross sectional descriptive study on nurses from four 4 hospitals in different sectors in Cameroon, government hospital, two confessional hospitals and a parastatal hospital. In addition, we did an observational study in randomly selected hospital in the study area. The study was carried out during the months of October 2016 to March 2017. Administrative approvals were obtained. The study used a 12 month recall questionnaire adapted from the Nordic Musculoskeletal questionnaires on reported Musculoskeletal disorders WMSD amongst 110 nurses in these randomly selected four health facilities in Fako. Descriptive characteristics were analysed using a chi square test and logistic regression. The statistical software used was EPI Info version 7.0. The level of significance was set at 0.05 for all statistical tests. Results There was a 90 response rate from 110 nurses. The prevalence of WMSD at anybody site was 65 . Compared to 12 hourly shifts, those working in the 8 hourly shift systems were 3.66 times less likely to develop WMSDs with a 95 CI 1.15 11.84 . Nursing Assistants were 3.30 times less likely to develop WMSD compared to Senior Nurses with a 95 CI 1.36 7.98 which were significant associated factors for WMSD in this study. Though not statistically significant, nurses working in the public hospital had the worst WMSD. Obsolete materials and awkward postures were some of the risk factors to WMSD. Conclusion There is a high prevalence of WMSD among nurses in Buea and Tiko health districts, with predisposing factors being 12 hourly shifts, obsolete equipments and awkward postures. To improve conditions of work ergonomics , the institution of an Occupational Health and Safety management team in all health facilities, is imperative to reduce WMSDs.

Smart Energy International presents you with a selection of predictions from some of the foremost industry thought leaders and influencers, each of whom shares their thoughts on what 2019 could have in store.
Aurelio Blanquet, director, EDP
We will continue to move forward within this digitalisation era, which means that we are going to see even more information, more connectivity and we are going to ask for more real-time data and more real time decisions. To achieve this, I believe there will be a huge increase in the role of artificial intelligence in order to use, in a useful way, real time data and enable data driven decision making.
Michael Bates, general manager energy, Intel Corporation
There are a lot of things that come to mind; one of the things we will start seeing next year is the establishment of market places for utility customers to go to to engage in the products and services that the utilities are building to extend their relationships into homes and business. I think we were starting to see a little bit more of that last year and I think companies that are entering into that space will make it much easier for customers to participate.
I think the other interesting thing that is happening is the addition of technology and computing power being pushed to the edge of the grid; one for the management of the load, but mostly to gain more transparency about what’s happening on the edge of the grid. There is massive growth in consumer owned energy devices, whether it’s a thermostat or a battery or an EV, and utilities have little transparency around what they are seeing at the edge of the grid.
I am also very interested to see where blockchain goes. There has been a lot of hype around blockchain and how it could be used, but I would really like to see more examples of how edge settlement of transactions can occur using blockchain technologies.
Jurgen Hornman, venture principal, Shell Ventures
I think for the sector there will be more challengers and more non-traditional utility companies entering the market. People are already wondering whether an Apple, Amazon or a Google will enter the energy world with their massive customer base and customer insight.
I think, for Shell, you will continue to see investment in the power sector.
New Energies has a investment budget of $1 – $2 billion per year and we will continue to invest in new energies for both power and new fuels.
I hope to see more tangible product development and delivery within the blockchain space, more clarity and probably more consolidation of the mobility space, along with flexibility and optimisation of power. Some winners will start to emerge – whether they will consolidate or not we will see. I think it will be clear in a year’s time who the winners are in that area.
Sandra Trittin, co-founder and head of business development and marketing, Tiko Energy Solutions
I see two topics coming up. One is the topic of e-mobility. Electric cars are increasingly coming into the market, followed by the need for charging stations; and then it’s about how to balance the grid with all the charging stations and the cars being connected.
The other topic is security. We interconnect everything – we connect batteries, wind and solar farms and cars – but how do we connect it in a secure way? The topic of security will be, and has to be, more important for next year.
What we are seeing now and next year as well is more and more women coming into the industry, especially in leadership positions.
Peter Asman, vice president IIOT EMEA, Trilliant Networks
Platformed IoT solutions are going to change the way they fundamentally deliver the critical data to and from their customers; and my view is that over the next 12 months you are going to see IoT and the industrialised IoT platforms really making headway and supporting the sector to deliver more.
Kevin O’Donovan, technology evangelist and founder, A bit of This and That
If you look at all the investments the traditional oil and gas companies are undertaking – for example Total, Shell or BP – we will have a ‘utility’ show next year and I think we will see a lot of blurring of the lines between the utility and oil and gas sectors.
Christos Aslanidis, director of the Prime Alliance
We have been talking about smart metering and in this one field at the moment, the reality is that where installations are ongoing they have been driven by a big utility. These utilities are partial monopolies in the countries where they are active just due to their size, but in 2019 what we will see is that countries themselves are starting to role out this technology. The big utilities took the first steps and now it will be the smaller, fragmented markets that will follow.
In terms of new technology there are so many buzz words at the moment, and there will be discussion about alternative technologies. Broadband will be a big topic. I am sure in the German market there will be some movement towards installations with broadband PLC. I think we are going to complete what has started and at the same time, open new waves towards the future and this means a lot of discussion, a lot of it technology-centric.
Peter Kliegelhoefer, alternate director, Prime Alliance.
The telecom companies will gain an even more important role within this market. Just to give you an example – with electric vehicle charging.
Alexander Lewis-Jones, product manager, EV, Delta-ee
There is going to be increased consolidation. The trend of big utilities and oil companies getting in on the act. We have seen the likes of Total, Shell and BP doing so in various countries across the world. That’s an exciting trend.
There will be increased partnerships as well. So we may see an EDF or EON partnering with various charging partners in their countries. Looking at the new technology front, we need to start looking at others coming into play. Wireless technology is something that we seem to think is a long way off, but actually I think there will be a lot of innovative projects coming in 2019 that will focus on wireless, which will drive a lot of hype around that as well.
Phil Beecher, president & chief executive officer, Wi-SUN Alliance
We’re going to see far more standards based on interoperable technology. WiSUN has been supporting the idea of multi-service networks. So you don’t have a network just for smart metering or just for street lights; the network technology should be there for everything and you have different applications running on that platform.
Another thing that will happen in 2019 is going to be the integration of distribution automation with smart metering, an increase in edge computing in order to integrate renewables onto the grid and all of this relies on flexible communication.
David Green, research and analysis manager, smart utilities infrastructure, IHS
I think we are going to see “more of the same.” We are going to see even less focus on individual technologies, even less focus on hardware perhaps and a lot more focus on the total solution. Utilities are starting to switch on to different usages for their data, and we will see a lot more focus on individual applications, solving small problems well and then building on them with each iteration.
From a metering perspective, we are already pushing on 150 million metering shipments a year, and I think that will break through in 2019. At least 700 million meters are already installed, so the 1 billion number is only a couple of years away.
Anjos Njik, CEO, ENCS
It’s a difficult question because hopefully in terms of security there will be no major incidents, and we will continue to make progress. The main development that we face is the issue of the skill, the diversity and the sophistication of attacks is increasing.
I do not anticipate this to reach the energy sector anytime soon but we do need to be prepared as it is not impossible.
Frauke Thies, executive director, smartEn
Generally I would say customer centricity and consumers playing a new role. If we look specifically at the year 2019 it will be the year when hopefully Europe has adopted its clean energy package, meaning we will see the implementation of a new market design and if that goes well, then we will finally see an overhaul in the change of incentive structures for system operators. We will hopefully see markets opening to decentralised resources, not just centralised generation but actually allowing storage and demand response. We will hopefully also see a framework for service providers to enter the system with fair conditions.
Emad El Sewedy, CEO, El Sewedy
My prediction for 2019 is about what is driving us in the Prime Alliance in terms of integrating nonPLC and PLC technology. Ultimately, there is no single solution for communication across the utility landscape and in the end all that the customer is looking for is a technology that works. We are working to address the needs of our customers and work with them to provide them an integrated solution.

Barkinside web Launch Party a Great Success
Last Friday saw the exciting launch party of Barkinside's new website www.Barkinside.es at Tipsy Terrace in Hondon de los Frailes. There were dog agility displays and obedience demonstrations, delicious cakes made by volunteers and doggy goodies to purchase. La Casa Canina showed that any dog, regardless of size or breed, can enjoy the excitement of jumping, going through tunnels and weaving through poles! We watched puppy Mozart with his owner 10 year old Fanette who are the future of agility, beginner Denise and her labrador Poppy, the more experienced Tiko and his galgo Largo and finally Diego with his champion border collie Enya. [caption id="attachment_21720" align="aligncenter" width="1033"] Diego and Enya[/caption] Enya showed us exactly how she wins competitions throughout Spain. Finally a strange looking dog called Kimble and its owner came on to show how it isn't done with a little comedy routine! Following this Danny de Castillo, the acclaimed assistance dog trainer, asked his own dog Voltio to demonstrate an amazing range of obedience and skills including opening fridge doors, helping his master undress and balancing sausages on his forehead! There was a fantastic turnout of people. It was a great opportunity for them to meet and cuddle some of the beautiful dogs that have been abandoned and rescued. Two dogs were reserved that morning and a total of Euro 941.70 was raised for all the dogs who are being cared for at Barkinside, a rescue sanctuary run by Jacqueline Peter Roberts and her husband Roy, based near La Romana/Novelda. All are welcome to come and visit the dogs and see first hand the work that Barkinside do. Two people kindly offered to foster dogs. Barkinside encourages fostering, for either long or short term – even just a weekend. This gives a dog the opportunity to experience a loving home, possibly for the first time in its life, and gives the fosterer an opportunity to experience looking after a dog for a limited period without commitment. This fun packed morning delighted everyone whilst at the same time introduced everyone to the new website www.Barkinside.es which showcases all the abandoned and rescued animals in their care. Well done to all the staff at Tipsy Terrace for coping with the onslaught! For more information see www.Barkinside.es or call Jacquie on 697.122.883

When Americans tried – and failed – to reunite Christianity
http://bit.ly/2he6Wc4
LeventeGyori/Shutterstock.com
Five hundred years ago, Martin Luther, a German monk, initiated a split in Christianity that came to be known as the Protestant Reformation. After the Reformation, deep divisions between Protestants and Catholics contributed to wars, hostility and violence in Europe and America. For centuries, each side denounced the other and sought to convert its followers.
Then, in the early 1900s, ambitious Protestants in the U.S. attempted the unthinkable. Building on ideas circulating in Europe, they took charge of an effort to negotiate the reunion of Christianity. They failed, of course. Strange as it might now seem, their effort is nevertheless informative. Here’s why.
How it started
By 1900, atheists and agnostics were becoming more prominent in the U.S. Anxious Protestant religious leaders started to argue in favor of a united Christianity to stop the spread of these ideas.
Noted theologian and fellow at Yale Newman Smyth complained at the time about religion’s “lost authority” in family, community and intellectual life. He declared, “a Christianity divided in its own house against itself” could not survive.
In response, in 1910, a very small but highly influential group comprising theologians including Smyth, as well as ministers of prestigious churches and noted business professionals, committed themselves to “Christian unity.”
For this group, unity meant more than cooperation or mutual understanding. It meant the actual reunion of Protestantism and Catholicism.
The influential WWI chaplain
Monument to Charles Henry Brent. AndreoBongco (Own work) via Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA
Their most significant member was Charles Brent, an Episcopalian bishop.
In the early 1900s, Brent had been a missionary to the Philippines. While there, he became friends with John Pershing, the army officer overseeing much of the territory acquired by the U.S. This friendship would propel the bishop to greater prominence.
General John Joseph Pershing. Bain News Service, publisher, via Wikimedia Commons
When the United States entered World War I in 1917, Pershing took command of U.S. forces in Europe. He persuaded Brent to organize and lead the newly established corps of army chaplains. As he built up the ranks of chaplains, Brent showed his own commitment to Christian unity. Though a Protestant, he made a Catholic priest his second in command and encouraged recruitment of Catholic chaplains.
When Brent returned to the United States in 1919, he was even more convinced that “a divided Church” was a “fundamental disloyalty to Christ.” He lent his name to publications and events to build support for the cause.
Failure to unite
Proponents of unity recognized the need to proceed slowly with this difficult task. Smyth, for example, insisted that they not rush to put forward “particular plans or measures.” Rather, the group should simply arrange meetings and conferences where Catholics and Protestants could discuss their differences. Smyth hoped that the “sentiment for unity” would emerge from dialogue.
But years of discussion brought no progress toward actual unity. The biggest obstacle was that, despite repeated invitations, Catholics took no part in the effort beyond sending unofficial observers to occasional meetings.
There were other issues as well. Protestants expected concessions from both sides. They also expected Catholics to limit the power of the papacy. One Protestant theologian, Charles Briggs, had anticipated that the Vatican would place a system of checks and balances on the pope. In exchange, Protestants said they might accept the papacy, abandoning a critique that dated back to the Reformation.
Catholics found such expectations to be absurd. They rejected any demand for changes to their church.
Global peace through Christian unity?
Despite these difficulties, motives beyond religion gave the movement’s leaders new inspiration in the 1920s. They thought Christian unity offered a path to global peace.
It was a time when America’s role in global affairs seemed uncertain. While American intervention had helped allies win the war, the U.S. had rejected the Treaty of Versailles, the agreement which ended the war. The U.S. also refused to join League of Nations, brainchild of President Woodrow Wilson, formed to resolve international disputes. The possibility of another war loomed large.
To this group, Christian unity offered an alternative means to achieve peace. It was a way of preventing more bloodshed. In correspondence with a friend, Charles Brent worried that only “new unity among the churches” would prevent “hideous waves of terror” from striking “people of the next generation.”
Another supporter, peace activist Peter Ainslie, predicted that fights between Catholics and Protestants would continue to spark global conflicts. Only the “union of Christian forces” would bring an end to militarism and lead to global peace, he noted.
Not enough support
Statements like these highlight how some Americans connected religion to international politics after World War I. But they also reveal why the unity effort failed to win broad support.
The American people had as little interest in global Christian unity as they did in the League of Nations. After the turmoil of the war years, many wanted a focus on domestic issues. They had no wish to remake familiar institutions like the church. This became clear in the 1920 presidential campaign, when Warren Harding won a landslide victory after running an isolationist campaign. His slogan, “Return to normalcy,” signaled an end to the previous decade’s lofty efforts to transform the world.
Furthermore, most Protestants had as little enthusiasm for these efforts as Catholics. They argued that institutional reunion of Protestantism and Catholicism was not needed. “Outlook,” a nationally read Protestant periodical, for example, ran an editoral stating that both sides already agreed on the “essential elements of Christianity” and whatever differences remained were merely “distinctive denominational peculiarities.”
Living with differences

The effort for unity was not a complete failure, though. It helped advance unity through dialogue. Its greatest success was a 1927 conference in Lausanne, Switzerland. Organized largely by Americans and presided over by Charles Brent, the gathering prompted new dialogue among Protestants, both in the United States and in Europe.
In fact, the main unintended consequence of the unity campaign was that it caused people to realize that they did not want actual unity. It was possible, in other words, to accept the post-Reformation division of Christianity. The differences separating the Protestants and Catholics could be shrugged off as “peculiariaties” rather than intolerable divisions.

Background The new Joint Monitoring program for drinking water ladder classification defines safely managed water as water coming from an improved source and free from contamination. The sustainable development goal 6.1 targets scaling up the population using safely managed drinking water by 2030. Reports from the weekly epidemiological data on diseases under surveillance in Fako division, indicates waterborne related diseases as the second and third leading diseases under surveillance. Reports also reveal higher burden of gastro intestinal disorders in the rainy season compared to the dry season. The study aimed to assess drinking water quality in the dry and rainy seasons from water sources catchments to point of use at households , in terms of some microbial and physiochemical pollution, in Fako, Division, Cameroon.Method This Longitudinal study was carried out from January to June 2018. A probability proportionate to size was used to select 15 randomly selected drinking water catchments from the four health districts in Fako Buea, Limbe, Muyuka and Tiko . Drinking water samples were collected following standard protocol from each catchment, then one randomly selected standpipe from each catchment and one randomly selected household from each catchment. The samples were then stored in a cold chain and taken to the laboratory within 6 hours for analysis microbial, physiochemical and heavy metals in the catchments and microbial in the public standpipes and households . The seasonal variation of the different contaminant at the different water points were determined using independent sample t test. The mean TPC total plate count and CFC coliform count were compared in the different season at different water point. Pearson correlation analysis established an association between the different physicochemical parameters of water samples. Data were processed using the Statistical Package for Social Science SPSS version 20, and office excel 2010. Results This study found that the mean TPC at source during rainy season had a high statistically significant mean 157.50±380mm l compared to TPC mean during dry season 11.00±26.5mm l , t 23 =1.386, P=0.047.Also at the level of the tap, the mean CFC during rainy season was statistically higher 4.75±9.08mm l compared to mean CFC during the dry season 0.58±1.73mm l , t 22 =1.56, P=0.012.At the household level ,the mean CFC during the rainy season was statistically higher 14.42±17 24mm l compared to mean CFC during dry season 0.30±0.94mm l ,t 20 =2.575 P=0.018. Though not statistically significant, the water at the catchments was softer in the dry season compared to the rainy season. There was a strong positive association between water hardness and EC 25°C µs cm r=0.981, P 0.01 .On the other hand, pH is negatively correlated with EC 25°C µs cm and Hardness mg L r= 0.680, r= .662, p 0.01 . The study concludes that there is a significant difference in the seasonal variation in the microbial contaminants from drinking water catchments through public standpipes to households. We recommend adequate monitoring and surveillance of drinking water by all stakeholders through the institution of a Water Safety Plan team.
