Week of February 9th at PGCC

This week, other than continuing on previous projects, there hasn't been much else to do, so we've been doing an inventory of equipment and preparing the TV studio for an upcoming visit from PGCPS students interested in TV production/ mass communication.

As we went through inventory, I familiarized myself with previous equipment I had experience using and new ones that had been added. Just as media is always changing, its technology also changes, so being well-versed with any type of equipment should be essential in this industry.

Week of Feb 2nd At PGCC Post

This week, my manager assigned me the task of creating a soundtrack for a virtual tour that he had been assigned by the chair of the department. I am also to go over the different takes of audio recordings that he had previously gathered in order to put the best dialogue in the final video.

I started to use Freemusicarchive.org and freesound.org to look for some potential tracks, and I plan to compile them in Adobe Premiere along with the chosen takes to give my manager a sample of the overall sound of the final video.

they're all forced to play insanely hard parkour warrior maps

and by the end more than 1 of them will have swore <3 because that was the point of the event <3 their bloodlust coming out in battlebox <3

Week of Jan 26th At PGCC Post 1/2

This week, my manager and I were asked to help a professor brainstorm ideas to help create a video that will showcase some of his current and past student's work for his Code of Arms assignment. We were shown a whole array of the student's work and had to choose which would be displayed in the video. After some consideration and planning, we have chosen the works documented below as our starting point.

Though it was a brainstorming session, my manager gave me pointers on which ideas would work and how to structure the entire video.

I was tasked with not only thinking of ideas for the video but also about where the camera placements would be. In my previous work as a camera operator, I tried to place the camera to avoid any distractions in the video. Both the professor and my manager were able to guide me through this.

Though I've been taught the Video/Film Production process in previous courses, I still refer to this website as a quick reminder/ checklist of the things I should do in a production. https://filestage.io/blog/video-production-process/
