I heard the trio in the performance I went to a few weeks ago. A recent reinstallment?

I think they’ve kept the trio ever since Norm Lewis started it (unlike the catch after ‘Music of the Night’, which stopped when Norm Lewis left). I remember some of the understudy Raouls might have taken a little longer to learn it, but I believe the trio has been used ever since. Even Kyle Barisich, who returned for a brief time as a temporary replacement, did the trio. So it’s a thing in both Broadway and London now.

Would you ever write a sci-fi Phantom AU?

No, AUs that are really out there, setting wise, aren’t my thing. I’m sure the story could work great in someone else’s hands ( @chaosflight ), but the premise in mine would end up feeling forced and uninspired. ^^;

How I feel about this character:

He’s a precious baby who must be protected during half of the book (until the end of Giovanni’s part), becomes a loveable asshole in Nadir’s part. A bit of a Mary Sue now that I think about it (everyone is sort of attracted to him during the whole book) but I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy reading it.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

I enjoy the whole “kinky Kerik” stuff, but realistically speaking I think he is as much of a virgin as the original Erik

There would be no canon if this happened, I know, but I wish he had waited one day to run away and Madeleine had time to love him. Or maybe that he got to meet Madeleine again before she died and some sort of conciliation happened.

Idk- it’s not a secret, but the worst result of my obsession is probably that a younger friend of mine got sent to the guidance counselor because I got her into Phantom at wayyy too young an age. She made a diorama for class of Buquet getting hung, so she had to go to the office. It’s funny now, years later... was not funny when it was happening, haha.
