narrowed yellow eyes turned to phelti, violet pupils slitted. Toxiins lips briefly flattened before a scowl took place over them. "WHA-TSS I-T TO- YO-U- ?" It growled, teeth barred. Phelti sighed from where they stood in front of Toxiin, crouching down to be more level with the sitting troll. Toxiin leaned back in its beanbag. "well, iou know how iou are wyth stress." Phelti reached their claws foward, stalling briefly to wait for some indication from Toxiin that it was alright to touch it. Toxiins shoulders slacked and Phelti gave them a reassuring pat, a gentle smile on their face. "I-TSS NO-THI-NG..." Toxiin wrung its fingers together nervously and Phelti quirked their brows, but dropped the subject. They'd likely only stress Toxiin out worse by pressing. Phelti sat down next to Toxiin with a small grunt, crossing their legs and putting their claws on their knees. "Do iou want a smoke then?" Toxiin shook their head, fins pressed back. Phelti pursed their lips and glanced away as they tried to think. What could they do to possibly distract it? They reached forward, placing their painted claws on Toxiins arm. His eyes shifted to Phelti again and then to their claws, but made no move to remove it. He instead turned in his seat, now facing Phelti directly and taking their claws into his own. He held their claws gently in both hands. His claws were larger than Pheltis by a decent amount and Toxiins were far more callous, but his claws had a welcoming warmth to them. It was odd that he did, being so high up in the hemospectrum despite his cuspblood nature - but his mutant genes were likely to blame. Not that Phelti was complaining - they liked how warm his hands were to their own. "Iou styll have that byte on iou?" Phelti snorted, pointing to the small teeth marks that still dented Toxiins finger. They rose their claws to their face, a small smile forming. "WE-LL -- YE-A-H! YO-U- HA-VE- A- SSU-PRI-SSI-NGLY GO-O-D GRI-P.." They snickered, giving Pheltis shoulder a gentle shove as they let out a small chuckle as well. "Do iou styll have the one ryght - " Phelti motioned to their own neck and watched as Toxiins face tinted bright violet, rolling their eyes and letting out a little huff as they playfully kicked Phelti's knee. "SSHU-T I-T!" Toxiin muttered as Phelti snorted, leaning backwards onto their hands. A bright smile now rested on both their faces, Toxiin much more relaxed than before. A bout of silence - asides their small fits of giggles - fell over them.

"So.." Phelti finally recovered, wiping at one of their eyes under their bang of hair. "Feel better now?" Toxiin let out a small hum as he slumped into his beanbag. "YE-A-H. I- DO-." He smiled, a lax expression befalling him. He patted the spot next to him on the beanbag and Phelti clampered besides him, immediantly wrapping one arm around Toxiins shoulder and drapping their legs across his as they got settled. "Wanna ?lai twenti word storiyes?" "I-SS I-T JU-SST GO-I-NG TO- BE- PA-I-LI-NG SSTO-RI-E-SS A-FTE-R A- WHI-LE-?" "?robably." "THE-N FU-CK YE-SS."
