Today we leave the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc. Situated actually off the coast of Cambodia, interestingly it’s the only place in Vietnam you can visit without a visa. We stayed at the Camillia Resort and Spa, a grander name than its reality. While Camellia was clean and only $38CDN/night, we only used it to sleep, shower, and have breakfast.
The Camellia advertises that it has a private beach, but unbeknownst to us, (and to many of the guests), that piece of property has been sold so we wandered for over an hour looking for this nonexistent place. I was tired, hungry which equals grumpy when we stumbled across an amazing oasis.
The Waverly Phu Quoc just opened 5 days ago, and it is amazing! We liked it so much we returned for a second day. Yesterday was International Women’s Day so Shaun and I were given an amazing chocolate treat with handmade raspberry chocolate surrounding it...and a 15 minute shoulders and head massage. Remember, we weren’t even guests there: we had just paid a day rate to use the beach and pool facilities, ($12CDN including towels, and a beer!)
In between the fancy resort, we visited the local public beach and did a day’s boat trip with 2 snorkelling and one swim stop, including a visit to the amazing Sao Beach! During out boat trip we went over the longest cable car in the world which runs almost 8kms! It wasn’t for me, but it was cool to see.
I’ll end as I began: today we leave the island of Phu Quoc. We have really enjoyed our time here. We continue to find the Vietnamese people friendly and gracious. We have enjoyed our downtime, the food here, and the perfect water temperatures. On to Hoi An!

💪🏊 And we do indeed enjoy doing workouts in spots like that. Especially when there's a swimmingpool near by.
🎲 As we can dig right into the fun post workout shenanigans.
🌇🍷🍴 But one thing that we embrace... Is the roof top bar/#restaurant.
😌 It's one of our favorite things to do, when living life in the city @ 1-2 hour 'come up for air' moments. Especially in warmer climates @ #Equator countries.
✅ The view
✅ The ambience
✅ The food (Stealing the menu/ingredients)
✈️ It's also one of the best experiences... When embraced on #Travel-curvish 2.0 trips.
🍴👷 Annnnd... Is what we all look forward to the most. Towards the final parts of the S-curve meal structure teachings.
🏩 Now that you know this. It's time to continue sharing some awesome roof top spots.
That's what I told you guy. Amazing view that I got in this cable. You will be extremely exciting. I went through the ocean from phu quoc island to HonThom island. It's is one of the most longest system in the world. The price you have to paid is just about 10$. Is it great?
Don't miss this cable when you visit Phu Quoc, Viet Nam.
