Some families don’t survive a divorce. That wasn’t the case for the Guillory’s; in fact, it only brought Aston and Déon closer. Déon had never considered that the fisherman was experiencing a midlife crisis until he married Willow, a joyful artist half his age. Things were tense initially, but seeing how happy she made Aston was enough to diffuse the tension until Uriel arrived. Déon wants to support this new dynamic, but a needy toddler in the mix might force them to branch out of their bubble.

Carbone

For better or worse, Greta has always been one to stand by her choices. She’s had a song in her heart from a young age, but put her dreams of being a pianist to the side once Albie was born. She works as a teacher to support her family, but hopes one day to play again. However, it would be good enough to see Albie fulfill his own dreams of becoming a professional dancer, temperamental though he may be. Like her mother and brother, Beatrice too is unapologetically developing musical aspirations.

Duggal

When Bikram and Mia wed, they agreed their careers would come first before starting a family. Their first pregnancy surprised them, but Bikram pivoted to adjust to the new circumstances. Mia, however, was eager to get back to work after the birth. As a doctor, she provided enough for Bikram to cut back at the restaurant and care for Parker. There was a cost, though; today, Parker resents Mia. Wanting to avoid repeating that mistake, Mia is keen on loving her boys, the nerdy Antwan and wary Levi.

Salamé

Being raised by Adeline had a profoundly different effect on her kids. Dasia, the eldest, often butted heads with the stubborn matriarch and found comfort in her high school sweetheart Imman. Baqil, the obvious favorite, stayed on the set path and wants to make her proud (coffee is his best friend when it comes to staying on top of his classes). Having married and had kids too young, Dasia and Imman reluctantly moved in and Adeline has since been keen on taking control of the girls’ rearing.

Lavigne-Jarrah

Falling for an artist was not at all what Rahim had planned. As an engineer, he values structure and practicality, but Gabrielle offers him a new lens to see the world through. This interior designer also takes note from her husband and has adopted his attention to detail in her own work. Their daughter Francesca has her moms’ creative spirit and shows promise (even if she focuses more on boys in her class than her painting skills) and Xavier is more interested in gaming than being book smart.

Newkirk

Landon had made many futile attempts to woo his high school crush Johanna, but it wasn’t until he sang a song for her on his guitar that she noticed him. They remain together today, accepting of the others’ quirks. Johanna can often fly off the handle, but Landon is always there to ease her mind. They try to do their part to save the world and instill ecofriendly values in their kids; lessons that young Averie has taken in good spirits. The unpredictable Reagan, however, is a different story.

Tillman

Not long ago, Siobhan was living her dream; traveling and performing music with her friends. But creative differences led to a massive falling out and the band split up. Now directionless, she moved in with her older sister Bianca, who was happy to reconnect after years apart (and maybe get some help with her two boys) but Siobhan may as well be a third child. Desmond and Cale love having their aunt around though, and it’s nice at times to get a reprieve so Bianca can focus on her meditation.

Oertel

A woman of science with a lot of love to give, Sandra knew early on that she wanted to have a child and give them the warm upbringing that she never had. Despite not having a partner, she decided to undergo in-vitro fertilization. She certainly did a good job of instilling Jonas with a high level of confidence (almost to a point of arrogance) and even as a grown man, he has Sandra wrapped around his finger. He doesn’t take his studies seriously, but has a passion for all things outdoors.

Kwame-Zhang

Lily and Daphanie were ready to take on San Myshuno and on their way to becoming a power couple. Or so Lily thought, until Daphanie changed course. After adopting the girls, Daphanie drove a hard bargain on moving to a quieter part of town. She was able to adjust as a fashion designer, sending off submissions from the comfort of her home. Lily however finds herself commuting to the city, unwilling to forfeit her spot as an up-and-coming food critic, despite missing quality time with her family.

Silva-Ortiz

Gustavo takes his values seriously and expects others to do the same. Quite a negotiator, his wife Flavia is able to use her husbands’ political network to pass her green initiatives around town. Though cohesive as a pair, they differed in their parenting styles; Flavia always trusted her sons’ judgement while Gustavo often quarreled with their eldest Robbie, who only wants to party. Averse to conflict, Paolo does as he’s told, even forgoing his own wants to throw himself fully into his studies.

hi idk if you’ve answered anything like this but what type of music do you think levi would listen to? if he listens to any music at all?

Hmm, I think you're talking about a modern AU Levi? I imagine that young Levi might have been into rock—bands like AC/DC. I have a headcanon that he, Hange, and Mike followed the band around, getting a little high and drunk during those times. But that was when he was much younger. As an adult, I can’t really see Levi being into music. I know a lot of people headcanon him as a violinist or pianist, but I don’t think music is something that motivates or inspires him… maybe because, overall, I can’t picture him as an artistic soul.

I don’t think Levi follows any artists or celebrities at all. If he likes a song, he might add it to his playlist and move on, but I feel like Levi lacks the interest in music to actively search for new stuff or stay up-to-date with artists. As an adult, I can see him being more into jazz, blues, or perhaps classical music—something he might play while finishing the dishes after a long day, with a drink in hand to unwind, maybe lighting a cigarette if he’s in the mood, and relaxing with a book…

But… if you dig deep enough in his wardrobe, you might find his old AC/DC, Metallica, or Led Zeppelin t-shirts. Despite all the washes, they still carry the faint scent of weed mixed with a bit of sweat. He should probably throw them away, but he just can’t bring himself to do it. Though, don’t ask him about those times unless you’re ready to hear the truth. You might end up discovering that your chill, extremely reserved, responsible, and strict boyfriend used to be a rebellious thug with more wild nights under his belt than you’d expect, all tucked away in the back of his wardrobe.

6/10: Pretty mixed on the idea. On one hand, Teruko's personality doesn't really owe well to being a maid. On the other hand, the talent can easily factor into her backstory, having to work as a maid in order to avoid living on the streets.

Xander Matthews- Ultimate Cosplayer

7/10: Can kind of see it. Would probably specialize in shonen cosplays.

Eden Tobisa- Ultimate Robot

8/10: A robotic clockwork Eden would be adorable!

Hu Jing- Ultimate Detective

8/10: Yep, I can easily see it. Pretty funny that she got the protagonist's talent last time, so the wheel landed on another protagonist talent.

9/10: They definitely have the Maki-esque personality for it.

Veronika Grebenshchikova - Ultimate Astronaut

9/10: The talent provides the right amount of risk and intrigue to fuel her. Also, Veronika with a galaxy theme would look SO beautiful.

David Chiem- Ultimate Pianist

10/10: I feel as though David's fashion sense (just swap out the star pins for music note pins and it would be perfect) and struggles with the limelight would owe well to an Ultimate Pianist. Similar situation with Hu, in that he had the protagonist's talent in the DR1 edition, and got the (initial) protagonist's talent in this run.

Arturo Giles- Ultimate Entomologist

9/10: A creepy butterfly-pinner aesthetic would honestly fit Arturo very well. Maybe, instead of just ugly people, he just hates people in general, preferring the company of "beautiful" insects.

Levi Fontana- Ultimate Supreme Leader

5/10: Levi Fontana, a notorious pushover, as an Ultimate Supreme Leader? Maybe it could factor into his dark past. I also think Levi could rock the uniform.

Okay so I was brainstorming some fic ideas for #LeviMonth24 (please see @levievent for the prompt list and other information if anyone would like to join), and I came up with a really cute one-shot idea that would fit Levi and my OC, Nüwa, aaaand I was wondering if anyone wants their AOT OCs to make little cameos because I think that would be really cute and fun to do!

For more information, this one-shot is set in a modern AU. Nüwa is a pianist and music composer, and sometimes she plays chamber music gigs with her musician friends (this is where your guys' OCs will make cameos if you would like!) since she can't just live off her earnings from her compositions at the moment. Let me know if that's something any of my fellow OC x Canon enthusiasts are interested in and we can chat further about it!

eeee okay!! i was gonna ask about the actor au i know its from ages ago but im a sucker for that kind of au 😭 thinking about the cast all taking care of each other on set and stuff and everyone is ik's biggest hypeman/woman, after all shes carrying the whole show on her back. ik falling asleep mid-scene and belphie carrying her back to her trailer and telling off the directors for pushing her... beel sneaking her snacks on set just in case.... mammon and ik making each other crack up while theyre trying to film........

i do have a soft spot for this genre of au, especially since here the actors just get to be regular people... allow me!! (this ended up being more au framework than cast interactions so feel free to ask for more of those haha)

okay so quick refresher on what i'd previously established: jtta is a show, and everyone's an actor in it

for simplicity's sake, they all have keep their names, and the character they play within the show is just named for their sin/role

so lucifer's character's is Pride, mammon's is Greed, so on for the other brothers - diavolo is The Prince, barbatos is The Butler, etc

of the brothers, in this au, only beel+belphie are still twins, and satan+lucifer are cousins, but the rest aren't blood-related

now starting to add some stuff...

diavolo's already very well-known before being cast, he'd be the Big Celebrity Name that draws in people

they're all from varying backgrounds - lucifer used to be a concert pianist, solomon was in stage magic, asmo's an idol, satan and simeon were both in theatre, luke started out in local pantomimes and got scouted, etc.

of everyone, simeon, levi, ik and luke are regarded as 'newbies' to showbiz

ik and luke because they're young, though luke has more acting experience (ik got called to audition purely by chance so this is her first role)

simeon because he came into acting from having been a nurse, which doesn't really prepare you for the job

and levi because this is his first role, his previous work has always been on practical effects and such (so he ends up being the most nervous in interviews)

before being cast in the show, lucifer and mammon were already acquainted - lucifer was mammon's mentor when he first got into acting, so they're under the same agency (they get called 'double threat' because they tend to appear in the same productions)

satan and lucifer are fairly distant emotionally, but they aren't on bad terms, they just had different trajectories in life before both ending up in acting

(satan starts a faux-rivalry with lucifer to prepare for their roles as wrath and pride feat. all the baggage from obey me, and it turns out they're actually very good at annoying each other in real life)

everyone has the same base personalities - mammon is still loud and impulsive, levi is still self-conscious but passionate, diavolo's still cheerful and confident

but with some elements softened (for example, barbatos isn't a super dedicated butler who literally lives to serve diavolo, he's just a good friend of his)

partially because the different setting means there's a different sort of social hierarchy, partially because they're all humans who lived mundane human lives and experienced a lot less trauma

e.g. lucifer is still fairly formal, stern, and not exactly cuddly, but he's much softer by default, has less sophisticated speech patterns, and has a higher tendency to joke around with the others

before they start filming, they get the cast to spend a few weeks together to get a feel for their chemistry

the seven 'brothers' click fairly quickly, but it takes a bit longer for the purgatrio to do so because for some reason simeon and solomon can't STAND each other in the beginning

it's so bad at some point that they almost consider recasting, but then one night they get drunk together and suddenly they're best friends the next day

ik's probably under a lot of pressure, since she's completely new to all this and is now expected to shoulder basically the whole show

diavolo and barbatos would be the quickest to take her under their wing

but ik is a little (a lot) intimidated by her new co-star, given that diavolo is like a ss-tier celebrity (as is asmo, solomon (though he's less mainstream and more cult-following), and lucifer to some degree

so at first she gravitates towards levi instead - who is similarly new to the scene, and not too busy arguing with solomon like simeon

and since levi's also spending time with his 'brothers', at that point ik gets pulled into the group

it's only after getting used to lucifer that ik can graduate to just accepting diavolo's support without freezing up

anyway by the time filming starts the entire rest of the cast has agreed: ik must NOT be bullied by the directors, we are going to make her first acting job go as SMOOTH as possible

there's actually a bit of an issue where they film scenes from earlier in the season before the characters have actually bonded in canon, but because ik's already formed a very strong bond with the 'brothers', their acting ends up being too familiar

the scene will call for pride to very haughtily look down his nose at the lost kid (ik's character name) and say something scathing, and instead lucifer will look at ik with the Gentlest eyes and deliver the line with entirely the wrong vibes

they're still actors at the end of the day though, so once suitably scolded they do know to ignore their real life relationships and play the roles as directed

one time ik accidentally breaks a prop mid-scene, which mammon notices before the directors can, so he grabs it and makes it look like he did it instead (he gets a reprimand for not being careful, but nothing otherwise. even so ik feels so bad that mammon has to distract her with card game)

later they figure out what happened while reviewing the footage, and when they go to ask mammon about it he's like "yo you stay QUIET about this, understand?!!"

beel is ik's designated hide-behind person when she gets nervous/uncomfortable in interviews, while belphie is the designated deflect-the-questions or tell-the-interviewer-to-fuck-off person

6'1" (185 cm) in height.

Actually is a history professor, being a vampire hunter/Keeper has really become a side job for him.

Had siblings, but won't readily talk about them with anyone.

Is a classically trained pianist and likes to play for others. He's also a big show-off when playing piano.

He's slow to trust and even slower to love. It takes him a while to open up to others and show physical affection, especially in public. However, he is also very self-sacrificial, to a concerning degree.

His love language is acts of service.

Favorite colors are navy and silver.

Says he's a dog-person or doesn't do pets, but is actually a cat person.

Has glasses (not wearing them in the art I drew), wearing them is mostly an aesthetic choice.

hi I have a question in Canon verse. How do you think that Levi finds a significant other? Do you think it’s like in survey core or like after the war personally I have no idea thoughts? Also love you writing.❤️

Hmm, I don't have a particular headcanon about how Levi finds love. I always try to give my main characters different professions or place them in various parts of the military because I believe you can find love in the most random places, haha. In Transactional, the MC is a Military Police member; in Not in Season?, the MC is a nurse in the Scouts; in Levi's Horrible Flirting Skills, the MC is a nurse from the Capital; in Holy Ground, the MC is a Scout; and in Angel, the MC is a teacher for the orphans they picked up from the Underground. I'm also writing a fic where the reader is a royal pianist, and another where she's a baker.

I can totally see post-war Levi falling for someone. I guess it's easier to write a love story if they interact frequently, like if she works for the Scouts, because they don't just work there—they live there too. So, I don't know how often Levi goes out, haha.

I think what matters more is how you write their love story rather than where they can meet. Personally, I would lean towards someone who is part of the Scouts because, for me, my idea of what happens in Holy Ground is my most "accurate" Levi, and they meet because Erwin pairs them up for training. But I would 100% recommend thinking about the most random meetings—those are the ideas that always catch my eye more easily!
