Back with a book recommendation for #abcminions . This time it 'toot' by @patricialeslee. The book talks about farting from the perspective of a toddler. It stresses that it is just natural to fart and nothing wrong cause even doggies ,mommy and daddy fart too. Also makes kid understand what are the different sounds we humans make day to day that are natural.The illustrations are apt to make the toddler understand. What we liked ? Brief explanation through cute illustrations Apt pictures to make kid understand Also the different sounds toddlers make, made it easier for my daughter to understand when people sneeze, burp or cough. Patterns, patterns, and more patterns! I love an offbeat, unique concept book, but even the best ones are normally limited to shapes, colours, opposites, etc., ad nauseum. So when I encountered Dayle Ann Dodd's "The Kettles Get New Clothes" (2002), I got super excited. Not only is it a genuinely amusing narrative, it teaches...patterns! Stripes, polka dots, paisley, plaid--kids will find names for all of those patterns they encounter in daily life, all in the context of a really cleverly funny, enjoyable story. Back after a long time. This week's recommendation for #abcminions is the book ' Monkey ' from @ompublications . The book is a board book with right pictures about what the monkey does. The lifestyle, the behaviour and similarity to humans being illustrated in the most beautiful way. The book is apt for toddlers who are introduced to different kinds of animals. It is easy for them to understand without even assisted by elder reading it out, such self explanatory is the illustrations. Baby Cheeni was able to easily explain the pictures in each page given the first time she was handed the book. The book is a gift set received from a relative who knew her love for books and reading. Looks like it's a series of books themed animals. We received monkey, dog and tiger. The book is of ten pages and is priced at 99. I would recommend this for toddlers aged 2-4. #abc_minions_2to4 . PROMPT 6 not all those who wander are lost. I chose to post something related to travel. How does one not like train when we mention travel. Staying close to the station hardly 30 meters ,our most loved pastime is train watching. The joy of people traveling to meet dear ones, the ones travelling hurry hurry to reached out on time, the children and college students clinging and making noise while traveling is all what baby Cheeni is used to hearing. We watch them go in the morning, in the noon and at night. Staying somewhere else with no sounds of trains is making it strange for us. So I chose Daisy and Rosie from the Thomas train series. #abc_minions This week recommended book, I bring you the fir tree. It's a cute story of a small fir tree tat wishes to grow tall as the others in the forest . It fails to rejoice the present and always keeps sighing that the others are being taken away. The book is supported by colorful illustrations. The story is short and easy read. It can be read out to toddlers and also to kids uptown 6 years. This book is from @pegasus4kids . I also got the book for review from @explorekidsworld as part of their book review program. PROMPT 2 : Fashions fade, style is eternal. #bookishmomsandbeyond #bookishmomsgoglobal So for today's prompt I chose to interpret the style statement of two my Baby Cheeni's most, intact my favourites too . Peppa pig and Miffy. Throughout the series Miffy and Peppa are known to wear the same type of clothes. Intact Peppa always wears a red frock and is so fond of her red shoes on which she goes click click. Miffy on the other hand wears the same type of frocks plain or floral. We all did have style statements. In fact my mom told me when I was a toddler I used to wear only one frock saying pearl frock since it had a pearl on the neckline. So in order to stop me wearing the same dress my mom aunt and my grandma had to take out the pearls from a bead chain and them stitch one on each of my dress. 🤣🤣. Not sure what my girl has in store for me. This page here in collage is from Peppa's things from peppa's little library which I got from @amazondotin and Miffy's birthday from @sunshinebookschennai . Peppa's things is a picture book with pictures of peppa's favourite things. Miffy's birthday is a story of how she celebrates her birthday.
