draw pinky bleeding out due to his leg being amputated incorrectly and as he's dying on the table brain says all the things he wished he could've said while pinky was alive and while he's laying on the table pinky goes "heh.... sorry Brian ..... guess I just wasn't insane enough......" and Brian goes "no my friend, I was the insane one for not appreciating you more"
Today we answer the age old question WHO is the genius and WHO

Where did Dark Pinky come from? Is that specific to the comics? I don’t remember seeing him in any of the TV content.
On a related note, is there any way to read the comics? I can’t find them anywhere. 😞
Hmm that's actually a kind of a complicated question, Anonymous!
Canon Dark Pinky is from the Pinky and the Brain comics! A licensed comics book series from DC and WB that ran for 27 issues from 1996-1998 (see https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Pinky_and_the_Brain_Vol_1). He was featured in Pinky and the Brain Issue #1 (released July 1996, iirc) and Pinky and the Brain Issue #25 (released August 1998). Brain and Pinky use a machine that they feed comic books (like a The Dark Knight Returns parody) into to temporarily turn their city into a Comic Book World! It turns them into Batman and Robin and it also creates Elseworlds/Imaginary Stories Evil Versions of their new superhero personas, Dark Pinky and Dark Brain!
But I think that a lot of, though not all, of the Dark Pinky versions that have appeared since the new reboot are Fan AU Versions ('cuz the canon/comics one isn't from the future/actually Pinky for example)? Which is very super cool and extremely creative of people/a whole ton of fun, honestly! ❤️❤️😍❤️❤️! I love v. much!! <3 <3 <3 So much joy!
Fun Fact (lol I keep saying this in front of "Facts" that are not all, in truth, "Fun," and also barely count as "Facts," but :p): I actually bought these comics off of the rack of my local comic book shop in the late 1990s just as they were first released! Super old-school!
Actually I have always had a bone to pick with those Spiky Shoulders, which I think came out of the grimdarkity-grimdark Comics 1980s Dark Ages and used to blame on Rob Liefeld, maybe wrongly. Like what, do you think the enemy is going to attack your shoulder specifically from above or something, and even if so, how would the spikes help protect you!?! I should clarify that it is OK for Dark Pinky and Dark Warrior Duck (see above) to do this kind of thing, though, as they are specifically comedy parodies of exactly that from the 1990s. But I am side-eyeing you 1980s comic book characters with your unreasonably unneeded Spiky Shoulders and I will never ever ever shut up about this.
As for where to read the comics, TL;DR ahead, basically "do a search for 'Pinky and the Brain comics,'" but: So I was actually going to share a link here, but after staring at my screen a while, I apologize but I decided not to, I just couldn't do it. :(( HBO Max has me very 🏴☠️ -happy right now so it's not that, but because these are ☠️ sites, they are unsafe by definition. Some of them have very "adult" ads (you know the kind -_-) but also cons and scams are a big concern for me, along with big privacy and computer safety concern issues. I guess I'll just obliquely say that if you care to hunt around, there are both very unsafe-seeming and places that SEEM safe at first glance that share them, but be really, really, REALLY careful with any of that kind of stuff, so sorry. 🤷 I advise people under 18 not to try to navigate those at all and over-18 only at your own risk. YMMV.
Now if you want to BUY the old comics, both eBay and Amazon feature them for sale sometimes! But I mean I wouldn't call those sites "safe" either but that's a whole "welcome to capitalism what are ya gonna do thing," so you know, haha. "¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "
Hope that helps just a little bit! ;) Thank you very much for your question, Anonymous!
