"Papa?" Cordette rocked back and forth and moved her arms about. She was never good at staying still.
"Yes, Pumpkin?" The Learnerer looked at his daughter.
"What's a grandparent? Is it like a really good parent!?"
Keen chuckles at that and pats her on the head. "No, silly! It's your parents' parents."
"Oooooh! So like your mommy and daddy?"
"Yes! Except I don't have a mommy or daddy. Not anymore at least." He shrugs it off hoping she won't ask any further questions but knowing she most likely will.
"Why? What happened to them?" With that question Keen's face drops and the room fills with an uneasy silence for a moment.
"... I- I don't want to talk about it." He says quietly.
"Why?" Cordette is perplexed as she's never seen him act like this.
"It's not important. Your brotherer will be home soon. Why don't you make him a drawinging or somethinging?" He says in an uneasy tone, desperate to change the topic.
Cordette is even more confused now. She has asked the Learnerer many questions before but this is the only one he has ever refused to answer.
She nods and drops the questioning although it's clear she wants to continue. Liam is a good idea though. She'll wait for him to get home and then ask him about it if he's in a good enough mood.
Do you think Liam would try to trick Cordette into doing his homework for him since she likes learning that kind of thing anyway?
yea. for things he finds boring
and that's usually subjects he doesn't find challenging. XD
the thing is I'm pretty sure both siblings have two different hand writing styles. so the teacher are sure raising some eyebrows
