#platonic yandere hank mccoy
Note
GAAAAAHH, Your so good man! While writing for Hank, I drabbled a little with how reader feels/felt?
Now, Reader didn't feel unloved of course, they loved the platonic yan adults and the teens/kids very much! But... they couldn't help that they didn't feel unconditionally cared for, the fact that they weren't actually related to them (Im shooting for that being what reader truly believed) always burned in the back of their mind, they felt the others had every right to turn them away if reader sought out that family bond from them, because they weren't really family, so why would they need to reach out to reader in that way? Reader knew they were loved, but that didn't change or get rid of the the pain, or the guilt they felt for not being grateful for the relationship/s they did have with everyone, they should be satisfied with the love they have, but they aren't, there's a part of reader that wants a kind of affection they truly believe they don't deserve.
So if Reader were related to Hank/Beast? The world is going to see a whole new side of him, a part of him that's merciless, because someone has been taken from them, and that can't go without punishment. He would be so so angry with himself, for never seeing that his kid was there with them the whole time, no one knew, and now reader and the others were gone, and nothing could change that. Then learning about how reader felt, something in him snapped, and he would do anything to make sure the future was a better one... even if the kids were the price they payed.
Dude you've got to let me know if I need to slow down, anyways, love ya!
🐑 Anon
Holy mole... That is a good take on a passage Reader would write, 🐑 Anon! They wouldn't have many notes written, or too much, but what they do have is hidden, all put in the same box and tucked away in a closet or under the bed or hidden behind books or beneath a floorboard. The notes have various dates, sometimes a few days apart, sometimes several months, even a year or so, but it details how Reader truly feels... And it's not great. They felt less than the others. Like they weren't worth as much. If anything happened to Reader, it wouldn't hold as many consequences, but it would break the others if something happened to another kid or adult, so they'd do everything they could to keep them alive. It portrays their fears, of abandonment, of hatred, of being cast out if they overstepped a boundary. It shows small portraits they've made of the others, or small notes on what to get them, what they like, the best ways to cheer them up...
It's heartbreaking, for the adult platonic yans to read through them, seeing how Reader tried so hard to please them and make them happy and keep everything together... And it's even worse when one of them is their parent. One they never knew about, one they'd never have a relationship with... and one who would never be able to form that bond with Reader.
If Hank was there parent... He's a sweet person. He's patient, he's good with kids, he's helpful and kind and caring... After this... He gets a bit darker. He still loves the kids and his friends, don't get him wrong! But... he misses the ones who are gone. The ones they couldn't save. And he spends hours, perfecting medicines and devices to help keep the others healthy and safe and to get rid of any... unnecessary individuals. What happened will not happen again. Not if he has any say in it. This tragedy... it will not be in vain. They learned their lesson. They cannot let others hurt them, or their children, or others like them. If they can't choose peace and acceptance freely, then they will accept it forcefully. And my oh my, the ideas he has to help keep the order amongst the people... Nothing violent, no. But perhaps something that... inclines them to make certain choices. To act a certain way, or to think a certain thought... And all the ways it can be administered. Medicines, drugs, perhaps a few small chips or trackers, to better keep an eye on every individual, especially the ones who are rather... outspoken...
It isn't easy, trying to move on. Trying to keep this new peace. Trying to right a wrong that has nothing they can right.
He had a child.
Now he does not.
Neither one of then knew the other was there, within reach, and now neither of them will be able to have the other as family. It hurts, deep down inside, worse than when his mutation further manifested, worse than being cooped up inside the mansion for a few months, worse than any accident in his lab. Those could be managed; handled; dealt with; healed. This... this wound won't heal. And while he is thankful for the others who are still there... he truly misses those who aren't.
Perhaps this path is dark, full of sorrow and doubt, but all they can do is make the best of it. The woods of paradise may be lovely, dark and deep, but he has promises to keep, and miles to go before he sleeps... (miles to go before he sleeps...)
(We have Erik and Hank down; that leaves The Professor, Storm, Wolverine, Sabretooth, and Mystique, as possible parents to Reader, that we can explore before anything is made canon to the au!)

Saber Anon. Kit reader likes to snuggle especially in their sleep
Oh h*ck yeah they do! They're a cuddle buddy. (Not to mention they make little baby animal noises in their sleep). Be they a baby, a toddler, a preteen, a teenager, or even a young adult, you can bet that the platonic yandere feral/s are keeping them around during nap time. How could they peacefully nap without their favorite kit? Especially since they don't try to run or bite them while passed out in the blankets like a tired kitten.

Okay X men Evolution and X Men Animated. Yandere Beast and teen reader who can transform into someone's worst fear
Oooooo... Okay, this will likely work better as headcanons, then. Glad to hear from you again! This should do it:
• Beast in the Animated Series is pretty calm, cool, and collected. Giving him a paranoid teenager who can turn into someone's worst fears is probably for the best
• He approaches it as scientifically and carefully as possible. Reminding Readsr that they're a person, one who is scared, and it is okay to be scared. That he nor the X-Men hold any judgment against them, and only want to help them
• He'd do his best to help them accept their powers, while making sure they understand that they aren't their powers, they control their powers, not the other way around. He'll pull out entire books on that subject just to give them an idea (or ten) of what he means and how it isn't wrong or abnormal to have fears and intrusive thoughts
• Tea, this guy prescribes you tea and mints and anything with lavender involved. He wants you to feel better💙
• Spends several hours reading plays with Reader about comedies or tragedies, but only tragedies as a lesson on why you shouldn't let fear rule you or mar your judgment
• 9/10, he's like your counselor, psychiatrist, mentor, and dad/uncle all in one blue furry bundle
•Now we have X-Men Evolution Beast, who deals with teenagers for a living before he eventually mutates further, and then becomes the science/biology teacher of the X-Teens and New Mutants. Poor guy has seen it all
• He'd be able to understand a teenager more, as he has dealt with them, and was a beloved teacher, so was likely trusted, too. If Reader wants to confide in him, he's all ears, and will let them hug him if it makes them feel better
• Keeps tissues on hand if he has one-on-one discussions with you about your powers, and uses facts to reassure you you are not evil or disturbing, that it is normal to deal with disturbing thoughts, and that he is there to help you handle them. Will read an entire passage from several different psychology books just to let you know how normal it is, and how unashamed you should be for going through it
• If needed, he might see about getting you anxiety medication if your thoughts and fears spiral more often than not and you have a hard time controlling them. Makes sure to give you tea or food to take with it, trying to balance the chemicals of your body and brain so you feel as well as can be
• Will offer to take you on nature hikes or field trips if it's to somewhere peaceful and/or quiet, hoping the environment will help you feel relaxed and help you experience something new
• Finds healthy outlets for your powers, such as learning to turn into something scary, but to then shrink down, almost to a chibi version, becoming a worst fear of an animal or plant (usually a larger animal or deadly plant), learning how to make silly faces or make their monster form funny, so as to make them feel better, and whoever's they accidentally scared
• 9/10, the guy covers all the bases of keeping stable mental health, will be with you every step of the way, and keeps you motivated and hopeful
• For both, they wouldn't use this against you, Reader. They couldn't fathom anyone doing that. But... they MAY encourage you to stay near them, especially when outside of the Institute. He may also ask you to drink certain teas with him, if he knows they can make someone very tired and/or relaxed. Over-protective, trying his best to keep you relaxed and feeling better, he's pretty great (if you can put aside all the hugging and watchfulness)

Hey, I'm not sure if I missed the request window or not, but can you do mutant!teen reader with an animalistic mutation (fluff, claws, the whole kind of shebang) and Hank McCoy/Beast? He's always been one of my favorites and I like the idea of him being a mentor/emotional support to someone with similar traits.
Yay, Hank McCoy! He's a sweetheart. I can do that:
You were an obvious mutant.
From your fur to your teeth to your eyes, you couldn't hide what you were. Who you were.
And no one seemed to understand you better than Mr. McCoy, or Beast.
Whenever you were down, he'd be there, offering you a cup of tea and sitting down with you until you felt better. Handing you tissues when you cried, patting your back softly. Telling you you were perfect just the way you were, fuzz and all, while pulling you into a hug. You truly loved the man, who acted like a mentor to you. Maybe even like a father.
You did your best to listen to him. To offer help when he needed it, or running an errand if he wanted a book or drink. It seemed like the least you could do for the man who helped you so much.
"Thank you, my dear. Why don't you sit and have a cup of tea with me? We could even read Much Ado About Nothing, by Mr. William Shakespeare. I know he's a favorite of yours," he'd say, a smile in his words, and with a small pat to the seat next to him, you'd sit down, and the two of you woukd take turns reading together. He had a good voice for it, to be hhonest.
And if you fell asleep on him, well...
He didn't mind sitting still until you woke up. Rest was very important for growing youth, and it would be quite rude to disturb you while you were resting. The fact that you trusted him enough to rest in his presence, let alone on him, was quite the honor. He just hopes no one tries to mess with you, or otherwise he'll have to... persuade them quite aggressively to leave you alone. It's what any mentor would do for their pupil...

I will get back to the Backstory!Posts, but I am working through a few ideas that I already have mostly figured out at the moment. I now I've mentioned a few different aus, bby!variants, and a bit about different platonic yandere groups and a few platonic yans themselves. Well, I think it would be fun to explore a universe where the X-Men have a reluctant bby, a mutant who isn't interested in their powers or being a part of their group.
The reader probably had a normal-ish life, but somehow, someway, their mutation surfaces, thus affecting them enough to cause an issue. They tried to hide it, going as far as to ignore it, and continued on with life... uuuntil the X-Men found out about them. Which leads to the team showing up at the reader's school/college/campus to talk with them, to see if they need help. The reader goes into a small panic, realizing that "Oh CR*P the X-Men showed up!" and promptly tries to hide/subtly leave (read: run) from the area.
Yeah, that doesn't work. The group is able to catch up to reader, and what ensues is them trying to convince a nervous teenager/young adult to join them, except this mutant doesn't want to join them, and has so far ignored and/or suppressed their mutation... leading to the group deciding they can't leave the reader alone, and certainly not in a state where they are inadvertently hurting themself (physically, mentally, emotionally) because they won't explore or acknowledge their powers... thus, the reader ends up with them reluctantly.
The group tries to help the reader explore their power, wanting them to feel comfortable in their skin and their abilities. Different members end up bonding (on their end) with reader in their own way, such as midnight snacks, nightly stroll, breakfast making in the early morning, sleepless nights, or offering a thoughtful word... and they end up even more attached to this nervous, upset mutant they took in. Many of the team members try to help calm their bby down, going as far as to use night-time tea (possibly soothe their thoughts)... they do their best.
We have plenty of members who will attempt to pull the reader out of their shell, through various means:
Professor Charles Xavier: tea time, chess (or checkers) games, a friendly debate
Cyclops/Scott Summers: training, car rides, coffee dates
The Phoenix/Jean Grey: doing the reader's nails, early morning breakfast making, strolls around the mansion
Wolverine/Logan Howlett: sleepless night talks, motorcycle rides, training
Storm/Ororo Munroe: gardening, cloud watching, cooking
Beast/Hank McCoy: reading, simple experiments, poetry
Rogue/Anne-Marie: gossip, trying Southern comfort foods, heart-to-heart talk about their mutations
Gambit/Remy LeBeau: cooking Southern foods, card games/tricks, teaching reader simple magic tricks
Nightcrawler/Kurt Wagner: playing pranks/telling jokes, trying different American foods/drinks, playing hide-and-seek
And there are many other possible X-Men, all of whom are just as protective of and a bit possessive of their bby... their bby may be upset and depressed at times, but, if worse comes to worse, they can help their bby forget it. All they want is a chance. All they want is to be a family for their bby, who needs to understand their mutation is a gift. It brought them to the group, and they'd be d*mned to let their bby get torn apart by the world for just being themself.
