stranger thing’s biggest tragedy is that it takes place before dance dance revolution was made. every modern au should have the party lamenting over the fact max has the top score in “butterfly” expert mode. in general my favorite thing about modern aus is just thinking about stuff like mike writing crappy creepypasta and erica running a my little pony tumblr page. this is my kind of nostalgia bait

love and deepspace is so wild i went in expecting minimal fan service, a blank slate mc, lots of stuff it wanted me to buy what i got was an insanely fun combat system, tons of ways to earn currency, an MC with: a traumatic backstory, PTSD, heart problems and not one but TWO glocks!?! and yeah the men are there too and are absolutely down bad for the mc LMAOO SKAJSJ

Zim tries to win GIR something from one of those claw machines (because the cheap basketball that probably costs one penny caught GIR's eye). But, he consistently fails regardless of what angle or trick he tries.

Zim then finds out the machine is rigged to where the prizes are glued to the ground and the claw loosens its grip as it's being carried to the prize hole.

So he just uses a laser to melt the glass and grab the prize GIR wants. He also destroys the store for setting up this filthy scam machine in the first place.

i was playing claw machine and he gave me the "of course i'm gonna win" voiceline only for him to plant the claw right between two plushies so it grabs onto NOTHING

and then he did it again while saying "easy peasy"... i can't deal with this anymore

I decided to try love and deepspace because of all the ads and I saw people posting art of the boys on here and after my phone successfully downloaded all the assets without imploding, I laughed my ass off when I realized the combat in this game was hack and slash.

Something about it was so funny because all the ads were like "Hey yea you can date these virtual 3D men who are fully animated and their voices are constant asmr and you can poke them around and go on dates ✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧"

And not once did they mention that you have to fight dragons and have to build like, at least 72 cards to make sure you have all your bases covered so your perfectionist heart can defeat enemies within the time limit even though that's absolutely not a necessity. (You can auto clear resource stages even w/o 3-staring it first which is a first for me tbh)

Like this is the closest thing they get to telling you they have combat. It's this one shot from their play store page

And it does not convey the level of button mashing you can do in this game. I fucking love it.

Also you can get a new battle outfit for your mans if you get 6 4-star cards of him and if you're short one or two, just buy it in the wishing well store using the gacha shards you get after every pull. Don't be dumb like me and spend it all on more gacha pulls and gamble for them instead.

My college does student artists alleys at events every so often and I got a chance to do one this semester!!!

I sold some Shen merch, made some money, did some trades, and now the lead animator of helluva boss owns one of my prints.

Do you guys have anyone in your lives who’s a natural at Claw Machines? I know there are people out there who like learn or get them and know how to get what they want, like it’s a skill thing they learned right?

But my 5 year old niece has literally never lost one

YOOOOOOO WE FUCKIN DID IT!!!! YEAHHH!! We slayed SOOO well!! EVERYONE DID!! The other sections were SO FUCKING GOOD i LOVED it!!! And like, we won first place or whatever i didnt care about that really BUT WE ALL DID GREAT!

Anyways, just got home from my pal's birthday party (more like Hang Out at the mall, we ate out) it was AWESOME! First time inside a Starbucks, and first order ALL ON MY OWN! (HELL YEAH RELIGIOUS REBELLION!!)
