Love the art as always~ what was the inspiration for the starters? I can see and done and a bug, but the grass type looks like a palm tree??? Just curious! I always look forward to your updates. ❤️

Thankyou very much :D tho I haven't been uploading as much as I'd like ^^" Alright so for the starters of Empakpalo we'll begin with Plesola

Plesola the "Solar Fly" is based on the concept of space travel and the love bug. The love bug's life cycle is the main focus for Plesola while their design is based on a deconstruction of the NASA logo.

Secondly, Larota (the most difficult of the starters to come up with)

Larota's design is based on the confusing similarity between two plants: Hemlock and Queen Anne's Lace.

Both are very pretty, one is extremely poisonous, and both are basically carrots. Larota's head is the flower umbel cluster turned upside down, while the neck part is a sort of dress.

Lastly, Suwidle

Suwidle is more based on the calm atmosphere of a quiet lake where Cranes stay. In particular, they are based on the song Suwanee River (hence the first part of the name + 'idle'). You got a bit of a spoiler with Suwidle's final evolution being called Kranease (like the word 'ease' and crane but pronounced sorta like cranberry).
