Why Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin (spin-off) Is A Bad Idea

Wanted to make a post on this for awhile and more people need to talk about how bad of an idea this is. First of all, we all know this just a cash grab by milking the PLL name. It hasn’t even been 2 years since PLL’s last spin-off The Perfectionists aired. Hopefully we can all agree that leaving the franchise alone for a few years would be best, don’t you think so?

Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre Sacasa will be the one to lead this circus into a possible downfall. Now say whatever you want about this not being disrespectful to Marlene etc but it IS. It’s disrespectful to the PLL legacy as well. And quite frankly, it’s disrespectful to Sara Shepard too because this new show won’t be following the books whatsoever. I don’t think nobody who didn’t have a part in creating this universe should have a part in a spin-off just because they have an obsession with the show. I don’t have any faith in this being good after what Roberto has done with his shows. Specifically Riverdale. Every thing that he has written turned corny. And he’s quite petty as well:

I’ve noticed that the they’re trying to connect with the original PLL fan base as well and they’re failing as they do that. Just by using teenagers again, “It’s not what you think bitches -A”, Millwood sounding like Rosewood etc. It’s just a cheap effort. The Perfectionists fans weren’t even able to GRIEVE since it hasn’t been long since it was cancelled. They basically received a slap in the face. This also kind of ruins any chance of us getting a revival with the OG cast because let’s face it, they’re not going to want to do one with original sin on air run by a different showrunner plus all of the cast unfollowing the official PLL page after that announcement basically tells you they’re not for it lol.

I think it’s disgusting how they literally went behind Marlene’s back with doing this considering she had no knowledge of the situation and was pretty upset just by her tweets. Every one is right about how she didn’t “create” this PLL world and that it was Sara Shepard, but Sara had no part in creating the PLL universe as a series. Which is what Roberto (without any knowledge) is taking over. She was not being unprofessional either. Now I know she can’t legally take part in it considering her contract with 20th Century Fox, but it’s nasty how they can go and do that and not give her a heads up and just letting her hope for a season 2 for the perfectionists when Warner Bros knew that it was never happening while this was probably in the works.

Which is also probably the reason why Freeform cancelled The Perfectionists. Clearly this show has been in the works probably for awhile maybe a year while The Perfectionists was airing. There would be no other reason as to why it was cancelled. Low ratings don’t count considering every Freeform show had about the same. But even with The Perfectionists, the fans didn’t care for the newbies minus Alison and Mona being in it. But even that wasn’t enough. So why do these people think a whole new cast is going to reel back in the fans? Every one wants the original cast back and that’s just a fact. Clearly not for another few years though.

From the plot they gave, it sounds like a Riverdale plot to me and honestly is not appealing. Teen girls getting harassed because of the sins their parents committed? Come on now.

WHY is Pretty Little Liars even in the name???? It should be a separate show considering it’s a new cast and story. how do they plan on making it apart of the universe??? Mentioning what happened in Rosewood? How far into the future will this take place in? It’s just so fucking random and has nothing to do with PLL.

This franchise unfortunately already has two unsuccessful spin-offs. It needs to be put to rest for now. There’s a 50/50 chance with how this new spin-off will go because it is on a streaming service ran by HBO. So I guess you can expect quality and it has a higher chance of it having more views than how it would be on cable. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the writing will be good. I mean I guess we’re going to have to wait and see how this turns out because they didn’t give much to judge off on.

Charlotte basically played everyone and was going to get out and do everything all over again. She admitted that much to Mona. Mona threatened her, but Charlotte didn’t actually jump.

And let’s think about the fact that Mona went to the Two Crows Diner to meet someone. She didn’t kill Charlotte. She went there with the idea that she was going to meet Charlotte.

So who killed her?

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD*** . . Just finished watching the series finale, and i feel that overall it's somewhat "twisted". A.D. aka Alex Drake (Spencer's twin) wasn't really surprising to me. I kind of saw that one coming as I'm one of those fans who theorized about it from a while I just never thought Marlene would actually execute the theory. What really is bugging is that she introduced us to a new character ON the series finale! Along with other questions that I still need her to answer: 1) how was Wren killed? 2) who helped AD build the game Liar's Lament? 3) how was the "Cape May summer" relevant to the finale? 4) why did we never got to see Bethany Young's face? 5) how the heck did the moms get out of the basement? 6) when and how did AD had time to build a 6 feet under hideout under Toby's house? 7) Who was the "girl in yellow tank" that Jason saw talking to Melissa the night Alison disappeared? (Charlotte said it wasn't her) 8) what's the eyes in the puzzle of Liar's Lament stand for? 9) why was Aria always doing the " sshhh" intro from season 1 to season 6? 10) WHO WAS THE BLONDE IN THE CASKET IN THE INTRO???? . I'd be grateful if I can find answers to those burning questions in my mind as Marlene left more plot holes then answers. Spencer's Twin , CeCe's Killer and Thoughts on A.D & Uber A

Spencer’s twin would be one theory that might have surfaced a lot of times especially recently during Season 7b. Do I believe if Spencer actually have a twin? I do now. I pick up some very subtle clues . The meeting with Wren is when I first thought that something was up with Spence, her bangs were done differently than what she had during the entire season 7b. Also I picked a little difference in eye color however that could have been due to lighting . Also during that seen with Wren she wasn’t wearing a watch also an all black attire. There was definitely something up with the entire meet up. Also in season 7a when Hanna was abducted she saw Spence and I believe that it was actually Spencer’s twin. Secondly, CeCe’s killer. We know that CeCe’s killer will be soon revealed , in my opinion it can be Mona or maybe even Ezra. Why Mona though? Because CeCe stole the game from Mona , she also tricked Mona into faking her own death also held her hostage in the doll house. That gives her enough incentive to kill CeCe. Now talking about Ezra. Ezra ,actually very briefly worked with CeCe while he was following the liars writing that book about him and Ali. He made two payments , we don’t know for what but what if those payments were to shut her up? Also he wanted to perhaps protect Aria . Finally my thoughts on A.D and Uber A , I still believe that they are two different identities. A.D is finding CeCe’s killer / avenging CeCe’s death and Uber A has some other motive to trouble and torture the girls . My main suspects are Ezra , Melissa and Wilden (if he’ll be coming back from the dead). So being this close to the ending who are your suspects?

So the girls have no idea who AD was and they’re okay with that. Like, I couldn’t be okay with that. And for the first time, we don’t really get any kind of trailer for next week? Like, really? They better not be bringing us back next week to set this up for the possibility of the story continuing. I want no part in that. I want to know who AD is.

New Theory : Aria's file and CeCe & Lucas' connection

New episode coming tomorrow can’t be more excited to see Wren again in action. So , in the last episode we learnt about Aria’s mysterious file , we don’t know for sure what’s in it but we know that it was Mrs D who kept the file. Now the question arise why and what does the file contain that would tear Ezra and Aria apart. Many theories have surfaced which claim that Aria went through a possible adoption which gives us the answer to why Nicole would see him in jail. But , is that really it? Or it has more dark secrets about are perhaps about her being a Radley patient during her so called one year break from Rosewood , when she and her family went to Iceland , did they really?. A proof to back this story might be Eddie Lamb , he recognized Aria however she kept on shunning him. Also ,is it me or Eddie Lamb ’s disappearance raising eyebrows?. Moving on to CeCe and Lucas. One of the biggest reveal of season 7B was that Lucas knew Charles but did he know CeCe and are we for sure gonna believe that CeCe is Charlotte and Charlotte is Charles after all . ? Or is CeCe just a cover up?. Now, this I noticed a very crucial detail , that CeCe was never actually shown to be in the dollhouse and she never admitted in killing Ian, Garrett , Maya and more. She only admitted that she killed Wilden and three a rock at Ali. What if she never even killed Wilden. Now coming back to Lucas in season 5 Lucas tells Hanna that he has a girlfriend and it was that very time that CeCe came back so, were CeCe and Lucas dating ? Maybe. I do believe it is Lucas who designed the board game. He did that for A.D to protect himself since in my opinion he was the one who killed CeCe out of rage or jealousy perhaps. He is misleading A.D (who I think is Melissa as I’ve said that in some of my previous theories) . And maybe Lucas was in the dollhouse too helping A (not CeCe , maybe her boss or something).
