I know. But don’t worry, it’s just angst. Pure angst. I’m sorry if it seems like a little bit of a mess, it’s 4:30am and I’m really tired but I really needed/wanted to finish this. Happy reading💖

Summary: After their deaths, you’re expected to continue on living. But how can you? You’re so alone now, all alone with your thoughts of despair.

Your eyes scanned the road where many people walked, busy with their daily lives. You watched as couples passed by, then children, then adults, then people who were by themselves, and so on.

Your emotionless face didn’t change as a little girl ran towards you and stopped. She stared at you for a moment, but you looked away giving her no reaction. She took the hint and ran off, but she reminded you of her.

A-Qing.

You shook your head and kept looking ahead, your eyes following each person that passed by. But none of it brought you any solace. It only worsened the ache in your heart. How were you supposed to continue like this? How were you supposed to stay strong? How were you supposed to move through life like this?

You were miserable. The world was so bland and tasteless. The colors were gone, the life was gone, everything that made your day worth living every single day was gone. Just like that, in the blink of an eye, everything had been taken from you.

What could you have done? A lot, actually. There was a lot you could’ve done, but you were just too naive. Things had been great, things had been so perfect… then HE came along. He ruined everything, he took away your happy little family.

What could you do now? Mourn. But it wasn’t enough. Every day was harder to deal with. Every day seemed like a hassle. Everyday was just another miserable reason to join them.

Even now, a full year later, you would still imagine looking up to see them walking towards you. Every time you’d hear your voice, your hope would spike and you’d feel like you’d see them laughing at you. Laughing the way you used to.

But you knew that was all a delusion. There was nothing to fix the void in your heart. There was nothing that could take the pain away. There was nothing that could fix you.

Your eyes fell to the cup in front of you. Your fingers reached around it and picked it up; you saw the liquid swirl inside. It was tea, you’d lost your taste for alcohol a while ago.

Not that it mattered, anything you ate or drank tasted like sand. Whether it was a delicious meal or the best alcohol around. It was all the same to you.

Sweets were also something you avoided. Especially the one Xingchen bought you. You remembered the days where you woke up and found a piece of candy beside you. You’d remember the smile on Xue Yang’s face every time you gave him some. You’d remember the pout on A-Qing’s face when you’d tease her about eating too many.

All of those were just memories. Annoying little memories that never went away. How could you enjoy them, anyway? Everything that brought you joy, was taken away from you.

Your hand touched your chest as the tears pooled in your eyes. Why? Why Xingchen? Why A-Qing? Why… why Xue Yang? He had changed his life around, he’d promised he would bring him back… he never got the chance.

You smiled as you finally saw your home in the distance. It wasn’t the prettiest, but you loved it. You lived there with the people you considered your family.

Xiao Xingchen, Xue Yang, and A-Qing. All three of them meant so much to you. You weren’t even sure when you began to fall in love with Xingchen and Xue Yang, but you didn’t hate it. Neither did they.

Nothing really changed between you three. There was a day where you three sat down and talked about your relationship. It was pleasant to admit your true feelings.

From that day forward, you three had been in a relationship. A-Qing caught it rather quickly, claiming even though she was blind she could practically smell the romance.

She treated you 3 like her family as well. Everything had been so perfect.

You walked in and saw a crying Xue Yang with no Xingchen or A-Qing. You were concerned, terrified even.

“Wh-what happened?” You asked, grabbing his arm. He was a mess, a sobbing mess with a pouch in his hands. “Xue Yang… Xue Yang!”

“(Y-Y/n)...” he murmured, tears steaming down his face.

“Where are they?” You asked, taking his shoulders. “Where are they? WHERE ARE THEY?!” You knew. You just knew.

Xue Yang moved aside and you looked behind him and felt your heart shatter. It almost felt like your heart stopped. In fact, it would’ve been better if it did.

You saw Xingchen laying there, still as a statue. You saw the large slit on his throat and your hand flew to your mouth. Your knees buckled and you fell to the ground, but almost immediately shot up and ran to the man in white.

“XINGCHEN!!” The scream that tore from your lips broke Xue Yang further than he’d already done so himself.

You fell to the ground beside Xingchen and reached out with shaky hands.

“Xi-Xingchen! W-wake up… pl-please. D-don’t le-leave me! Say something! Say s-something Xingchen!”

Xue Yang watched in horror as the words Xingchen cried out, you were crying out now. Your hands were hitting Xingchen’s chest in an attempt to wake him, but it wasn’t possible.

“XIAO XINGCHEN!!! WAKE UP!!!”

You felt arms around you and tried to shove them off, but they were firm.

“I’ll bring him back! I swear!” Xue Yang cried out, wanting any way to soothe your pain. “I swear! I promise you, I’ll bring him back!!”

You had believed him, knowing that he truly meant it. Xue Yang- whatever he’d done- had regretted it and wanted to make it better. He kept you in the dark with most things, but you accepted it, now only having him. Not like it was much different. Unlike Xingchen, you never knew of Xue Yang, so you couldn’t earn him or protect him.

In one day, everything had changed. Your family had been torn apart and you were too terrified to lose the last person you cared so deeply for.

So you believed him and went along with it. You didn’t stay with him, but he visited you every single night. He brought you candy- none of which you ate- and he often brought you food.

One day, Xue Yang didn’t return. You felt immense fear immediately and went out searching for him. You’d heard word that someone- matching Xiao Xingchen‘s description- was seen near Yi city.

Back home?

It didn’t matter. You went back in search of both of them, hoping to find either Xingchen or Xue Yang.

You found Xue Yang.

Dead on the ground, missing one arm, but a piece of candy in the other. It had happened all over again. You’d lost whatever was left of your family.

“Xue Yang? H-hey… Xue Yang…” you said, falling beside him. “Th-this isn’t f-funny. St-stop! Your jokes aren’t funny! Wake up! Wake up right now!” Tears streamed down your face and you let out a pained scream, one that echoed all around you.

You pulled Xue Yang into your arms, unable to handle what had just happened. His blood stained your clothes but you didn’t care.

When did this happen? Who killed him? Where were they? Would you be able to catch them? What would you do when you did catch them? Would you kill them too?

So many questions bombarded your mind but you had no answers. All you could do was pull Xue Yang all the way back to where Xingchen was and put him in a coffin beside him.

A-Qing was still missing. No matter what, you’d find her. You’d find her and keep her safe.

You poor fool.

If only you’d known. Only a few weeks after, you’d found out that A-Qing had become a ghost who begged other cultivators to ward them off. She even searched for someone to help kill Xue Yang, the cause of it all.

Learning the truth didn’t help anything. You’d learned everything overtime, piecing together some of your own thoughts.

Song Lan had appeared one day, he fought Xue Yang who cut out his tongue and turned him into a fierce corpse. A-Qing had seen it all and told Xiao Xingchen, who told her to run and hide.

Xingchen confronted Xue Yang, who lost it and taunted Xingchen with the one thing he couldn’t handle. Killing his own best friend, one who he’d given his own eyes to. Xingchen had taken his own sword and ended his life. You’d come home the next day.

Useless. You were so useless! You did nothing to save anyone! You couldn’t save Xue Yang, you couldn’t save A-Qing! You could save Xingchen! What good were you?

For someone who claimed family was so important, you sure as hell let your own down.

Ever since then, you’d been wandering the world. You didn’t know what to do. Would you go looking for Song Lan and kill him for ruining everything? Would you kill Wei Ying for daring to come back to life when no one you cared about could? What could you do?

Nothing.

As usual, you weren’t able to do anything. All you were good for was crying and regretting every life choice.

What would they want? What would they want you to do? Xingchen would probably want you to move on or something. A-Qing would probably suggest marrying some rich clan leader or something. Xue Yang might suggest you get revenge.

But you were tired. You were so tired and your mind kept replaying scenarios where your life would've been different. You kept wishing and begging for the universe to give you another chance but it never did.

Every day you woke up realizing your mistakes. Your inability to help anyone, your inability to do anything. Your mind replayed one thing and one thing only:

“Useless (y/n)...” you murmured as you took a sip of the tasteless tea. A tear slid down your cheek and you watched it hit the table below. It was soon followed by dozens more.

Even now, you couldn’t let go. You couldn’t move on. What was the point anyway? They’d all still be dead.

One thing you often wondered about was joining them. You tried. You tried living on your own. You tried for a whole year to continue without them, but it was so hard. It was almost as difficult as bringing them back to life.

But before you ended your time on this miserable planet… you needed two things.

Xingchen’s sword, Shuanghua, and his spirit pouch.

You glared up at the bright blue sky that taunted you, vowing to get both of them from Song Lan. There was nothing else left in the world for you… but those two things… you so desperately needed them.

omg how funnnn ! yes just make sure you wear shoes that you won't mind getting muddy !! my first governor's ball we had an insaaaane storm and omg . i actually lost my shoes to the mud JDBGHB bc with all the people walking on the soft ground it just became . a complete mud swamp . i will never forget it was such a mess .... but it was still a great time ! so pls enjoy (and stay safe) this weekend 💓 !!

my winter camp package should be here by next week ! so i'll be able to watch the video then, since my code to "unlock" it is in the box. my break has been pretty chill, i've worked a lot of extra hours and the weather has been nicer finally so getting outside with baby bestie has been fun and honestly most of the time hanging with her doesn't feel like work anyway <3 i did less schoolwork than i had like ... originally envisioned myself trying to get ahead on, but i think i'll be just fine and needed some more rest from it !

son of kim seokcheon and jo minsu , their first born , pride n joy with shining qualities and the potential to become starlight bay’s shining light by the time he could talk. grinning ear to ear no matter the face that looked down at him and never once hesitating to stick his arms out for a hug.

grandson of kim minsoo and ahri , starlight bay’s actual pride n joy. the town’s favorite elderly couple aka owners of the dotori inn. these are the ones to thank for jangjun’s gracious upbringing. not that he had a negative relationship with his own parents , he loved them just as much as the next loved child , but any chance he’d gotten he’d run right down to the inn to greet the guests ( regulars and newcomers alike ) alongside his grandparents and quickly became seen as one of them.

for as long as he or anyone could remember , jangjun was a frequent enjoyer of the arts. painting , drawing , mixing water with mud to make his own modeling clay — you name it. the simplest and most accessible form of self expression and gateway for those growing emotions. instead of talking out his feelings in a way he didn’t know how or dealing with an emotion as heavy as they came , he’d use these various forms of art to center himself in any way they allowed. it became something he enjoyed so much that he knew from such a young age what he wanted to do. he wanted to take what he loved and use it to help people. it felt unique , like he’d discovered something no one had ever done before and was putting something into the world that could make such an impact it would change it. it wasn’t until he was older that he realized what he wanted to be was an art therapist.

for years , jangjun stood along his grandparents and helped around the inn whenever he could. his own room granted in the old house in which they stayed not far from it. he was happy to be in a place where he was always helping people as he was taught this was the most important thing you could do , not only for others , but for yourself. ‘ what you put into this world is what you will get back. treat others with tenderness and you will never have to wonder who you are. ’ words of wisdom passed down from his grandfather and practically engraved into the back of jangjun’s brain.

along working at the inn , jangjun focused intently on his studies , never once slipping away from his enjoyment of creating. a teasing rumor had it the kim’s cloned jangjun at birth to be a prodigy of some kind because you’d find him in so many places at once. dotori inn by sunrise , and as the day progressed , you’d catch him around every single corner of town , always on the go and always seen putting a smile on the face of anyone he passed by. by the time he graduated high school , jangjun was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime. he was granted a scholarship to nyu , such a prestigious school known for their sought after art program. as eager and excited as he could be ( and already two trips to new york under his belt ) jangjun felt like he was on his own path.

that is , until , his grandmother became sick. faced with the challenging predicament , jungjae already knew what lied ahead. the choices were unfair regardless , but he had two. continue on to nyu and allow his younger sister to hold back on her dreams to stick around the inn .. or give up his own and resume as the kim jangjun dotori inn knew and needed. for him , the decision was easy.

🚨 🚨 POSSIBLE CONNECTION MAYHAPS ? — saving his sister’s future was not the only thing holding jangjun back to starlight bay , but a lover. another person in his life that wasn’t so easy to leave behind but an easy consideration to stay. to make it even angstier ? they broke up not long after he gave up on nyu to stick around.

fast forward to current times and you’ll still find him present at dotori inn to this day. rumor has it he’ll be the one taking over ownership once his grandparents are no longer able to. but anyone that knows him well enough knows that’s not what he wants. anyone that knows jangjun to his true core notices how he no longer leaves home with the same paint residue on his clothes , no longer has that smile that reaches his eyes anytime they’re met and no longer carries that same passion that he once did. you’ll still find him helping around town and putting those in need above his own , of course. after all , it’s what he’s been taught his whole life to do. everyone always talks about the stars that fall over starlight bay and the wishes they grant you , but perhaps this is what was written for him in them all along.

„Stop wasting my time. “

„Come on! I can pay you!”

“Sure you can.”

“Yes! Don’t you believe me?”

“Stop bothering me and go home.”

“I have coin! Here!”

Finally, the Witcher turned around when he heard the rattling of the coins in your small bag as you held it up. He quickly grabbed your hand, forcing it down. “Are you mad or do you enjoy the idea of being robbed,” he scolded you.

He was right. You were standing in the middle of a busy street, merchants and farmers passing you by as they made their way home from the market. The sun was already beginning to set and the first drunks stumbled out of the tavern to your right. Two working girls shrieked when a man fell against them, landing face down on one of the their bosoms, and angrily pushed him away.

You let the small bag slip back into the pocket of your coat. “I have coin!”, you repeated yourself.

“Where’d you get that?”, he demanded to know. “Did you steal it?”

You snorted. Asshole. “My family owns half the town. Did you not recognize this?!” You pointed at your necklace with the family emblem brightly visible.

His eyes only grazed shortly over it. “I’m not from here.”

“Right, because you’re Geralt of Rivia, a Witcher, a famous one – so give me one reason why you would decline my offer?”

“Teaching spoilt girls how to hold a sword is not in my job description.”

“First of all,” this time you pointed your finger at him. “I’m not a girl, I’m a woman, so start treating me like one! And secondly, as far as I’m concerned, there is no monster to kill for you at the moment.”

“There’s always monsters to kill.”

“Witcher!” A frustrated sigh escaped your mouth. What was his problem?

Geralt looked at you intensely, his eyes wandering from your face to your pocket, where the coins were stowed, back to your face. He pondered about what the offer would truly mean – letting another person come too close to him rarely resulted in anything good. People around him tend to end up hurt or heartbroken or dead. The last person to experience this had been Jaskier. Years of traveling together and it ended in Geralt chasing him away, blaming him for things that weren’t his fault. This happened a few years back and since then, the two of them had rekindled their friendship, but still. His point remained unchanged.

However, this could be different. You didn’t seek him out to become friends. It was nothing more than a job. Not to mention that your comment about him not having anything better to do at the moment was true. He could really use the coin. Before Geralt was able to rethink this, he wiped his eyes in a tiring and annoyed matter. “Fine.”

Your face lit up instantly and a big smile appeared on it. “Yes? Oh thank you!”

“Ten days.”

“That’s a good start!”, you exclaimed happily.

“It’s not a start, it’s all I’m offering,” he corrected you. Were you always this cheerful or just when you got your way? “What do I get out of it?”

“Three coins for each day.”

The Witcher raised an eyebrow. There was far more in that bag of yours and you both knew it. “Eight.”

“Four.”

“Seven.”

“Witcher!”

“Six then.”

“Five.”

“Deal,” he nodded.

Your smile grew even wider. “Thank you! This is fantastic!”

The only acknowledgment you got for that statement was a low grunt. He wasn’t so sure about it being a fantastic idea. “Meet me here tomorrow when the sun rises. Do you own a sword?”

He let out a sigh when you shook your head. “Of course you don’t. Doesn’t matter. Tomorrow, when the sun rises! Understood?”

“Understood!”

You arrived early the next morning. The excitement for the days to come was too overwhelming so after hours of tossing and turning and occasionally falling into a half slumber, you decided to cut the night short.

You nervously looked around you. Despite the late (or rather early) hour, the street was buzzing with people. Mostly drunks but no less intimidating. It was the second time you visit this part of the town as your mother would forbid you to come here. “It’s a dangerous place,” she always said, “nothing to find there except for criminals and whores.” Observing the people around you, she might had a point.

Growing up in one of the richest families of the town was a blessing and a curse at the same time. Nothing seemed to be missing from your life – dresses and jewelry, parties and royal receptions – everything was there in arm’s reach. You never had to work a day in your life and never went to bed on an empty stomach. Still, you were unhappy. You were born into this world with no purpose. All you had to do was look pretty, agree to a beneficial marriage and produce heirs. Your father didn’t allow you to be something else, something more. You never asked for much, knowing he’d deny your requests, except for learning how to fight and defend yourself. It was a simple desire but you hoped it would give you something. What, you weren’t sure. A purpose maybe? Indubitably, he refused you.

A sense of guilt and shame rushed through you. It happened every time as you were aware that the problems were nothing more than luxurary at best. After all, what gave you, a privileged girl with no troubles, the right to complain when there were people starving and dying?

“Well, ‘ello there, aren’t you a pretty one.”

You shrieked at the slurring words coming from your left. A man, smelling of beer and piss, reeled towards you. A disgusted look on your face, you took a step back.

“What’s that face, pretty one? Don’t cha think I’m pretty too?”

“Fuck off!”

A second voice made you turn around in surprise. Geralt of Rivia was standing in the doorway of the tavern, glaring at the drunk. Even in his current state of mind, the man sensed that Geralt wasn’t someone he wanted to bother, so he spit out undefinable curses and stumbled away.

“Thank you,” you said to the Witcher. He looked different this morning. Rested and bathed, you figured and realized his attractiveness for the first time since you met him. Last night you were more focused on convincing him to train you. Tall, broad, with his glooming golden eyes and white hair that fell loosely on his shoulders – only a blind person could deny his good looks.

Geralt eyed you up and down. “Now why would you wear that?”

You furrowed your brows in confusion and looked down at your blue dress and fine cloak that hugged your figure. “What?”

“You want to learn how to fight, am I wrong?”

“No, you’re not.”

“And you’re gonna do that in a dress?”

“I’ve seen women fight in dresses.”

“But not in fucking ball gowns.”

“This is not a ball gown!” You protested.

He rolled his eyes and started walking. “Whatever, come on. We have a long day ahead.”

You followed, struggling to keep up with him. He didn’t seem to care all that much. “Why do you sleep here?” You pointed back to the run-down pension.

“What do you mean?”

“With the money I’m paying, you can afford better … places.”

“I like it here.”

“You like sleeping around these creatures?”

Geralt didn’t answer instead he shot you a glance that made your cheeks flush in embarrassment. You knew exactly what he thought in this moment – he probably regretted taking the job and dreaded the fact that he was stuck with a spoilt girl like you for the next days. You didn’t blame him.

You couldn’t have known on this day but you were wrong. Geralt didn’t have any regrets – not yet however. He saw you as spoilt, yes. He also recognized your will to change – or else you wouldn’t have come to him in the first place.

One hour later and Geralt finally stopped in his tracks. You were more than thankful as your feet already started to hurt. The two of you had left the town far behind and had now reached a small clearing in the woods.

With a sigh you sat down and leaned against a tree. Geralt kept his gaze on the ground and walked around the clearing, looking for something.

You watched him. There was certainly something about that Witcher with his tall figure, white-hair and brooding looks. Only a blind woman would deny that. For a brief moment, you wondered if he had a companion or a consort, so to speak. What kind of woman did he desire? You had heard rumors about a mage he had taken as his lover. So probably powerful woman, fighters, he didn’t need to worry about protecting.

“Here,” a stick landing in front of you catapulted you back into reality.

You looked at the stick and back at Geralt. “What am I supposed to do with it?”

“Fight,” only then you noticed a second branch, resting in his hand.

“With a stick?”

“Yes.”

You grabbed it and got up in the same movement. “I’m not a child, I won’t play with sticks,” putting some force behind your words, you looked at him intensely.

His face didn’t falter. “What do you suggest instead?”

“A sword. I want to learn how to fight with a sword.”

“You’re not ready.”

“We only have two weeks though, we need to speed up this whole process,” you argued.

“You’re not ready.” He repeated sternly.

You kept staring at him, realizing that you wouldn’t win this argument. A sigh left your lips. “Fine.”

A small smile appeared on his face. “Great. Let’s get started.”

*** The first training was an absolute disaster. You were convinced that you spent the most time on the ground, face-down in the mud – the rest of the time you got your ass kicked. The exhaustion you felt when you were back in the tavern with torn clothes and leaves in your hair came close to nothing you ever experienced in your life.

Geralt sat next to you, happily eating his piece of chicken, looking like he had just returned home from a lazy and relaxed day out of town.

“You should eat something,” he said in between bites.

You looked down at your plate where the food remained untouched. “I’m not hungry.”

“Yes, you are.”

As if your stomach wanted to agree, a low growl was heard.

Geralt smirked but didn’t comment.

“Fine,” you admitted. “I’m starving.”

“But?”

“Everything hurts.” It was true, you felt too exhausted to take one bite out of the meat.

He shrugged. “Of course it does. You’ll get better though.”

“I don’t think so,” you sighed. “Did you see me today?!”

“I’ll tell you what,” Geralt said with a chuckle. “I promise that you’ll be able to fight and win against Jaskier by the end of this.”

“Is he a good fighter?” You asked with narrowed eyes.

“He’s not too bad.”

“What if I lose against him?”

“You’ll get your coin back.”

“Deal.” You nodded in contently. Then you added after a brief moment: “Wait, who’s Jaskier?”

“He’s traveling with me,” Geralt simply answered and took a sip from his beer mug. “You’ll meet him tomorrow. He knows people from this town.”

Jaskier. You were curious about the kind of person a Witcher spent his time with when he wasn’t away, hunting beasts. Was he as calm and collected as Geralt? Always so serious?

Another growl came from your stomach and you looked back at the plate. Well, maybe not eating at all would be a worse decision. After all, there were nine more days filled with exhaustion ahead of you. Slowly, you reached down to grab one of the chicken legs and bit into it.

Geralt watched you carefully and a very small part of him began to like the idea of having to spend more dinners with you in the next days. Of course, he’d never admit it. Not even to himself.

You waited impatiently due to the amount of excitement rushing through your body as you stared at the time on your phone screen.

You kept reminding yourself. You had a long day and wanted nothing more than to see your cheery boyfriend, Oikawa Tooru. The only problem was, you lived in separate countries, your only form of communication being texts, both of you commenting on each other’s posts, posting pictures of one another with cheesy captions like ‘you’re number one in my heart’, and of course the long FaceTime calls that always go late into the night, often resulting in one of you falling asleep mid call and the latter screenshotting their sleeping figure. You were so grateful to have such an amazing dork boyfriend who was always there to cheer you up on days like this, and despite the time difference you both made it work for the 8 months you two have been together. Little did Oikawa know, you had been planning a trip to Miyagi for a while now so you could surprise him. You finally got the funds to do so and you were going to be heading over in less than a week, which is perfect as he had a match on the next day after you arrive in Miyagi. You were snapped out of your thoughts by your phone rattling around on your desk due to the vibration of someone calling you. You jumped when you saw Oikawa’s contact name and picture and quickly accepted the FaceTime call.

“Y/N-chan I miss youuuuuu” he whines as you giggle at his childish behavior, making you feel better already.

You two talked about your day, him telling you stories about what happened in practice, how he saw your favorite snack in the convenience store he visited after practice which made him think about you non-stop even tho he does that anyway, and you telling him about your long day and him cheering you up by telling you how beautiful you are and how you can relax now without having to worry about anything else. Oikawa would be lying if he said he didn’t get insecure thinking about the possibility of you finding someone else who lived in your country who was better than him and could be there for you in person, but you remind him you love him and only him which helps put his mind at ease he just doesn’t wanna lose you because he’s so whipped for you. You two talked for a good 3 hours before he had to go to bed as he was extra worn out from pushing himself so much in practice, so you both said your goodbyes.

“Make sure you look after yourself baby, I love you” he says with that soft smile and adoring look in his eyes that makes you blush and fall for him even harder, which you thought would be almost impossible by this point.

“I will but make sure you do the same, I love you too, try not to miss me too much” you said while winking playfully. Easier said than done he thought to himself. You ended the call and lay back in your desk chair.

Less than a week

You reminded yourself.

You couldn’t help the huge grin that made it’s way onto your lips as you began boarding the plane.

Today’s the day

You thought to yourself as you made yourself comfortable in your seat, waiting eagerly wanting to take off as soon as possible as you heard your phone ding, signifying someone had texted you. You looked at the contact name and saw it was none other than Oikawa himself.

‘Hey baby can we call in a little bit? :))’

‘I’m sorry baby I can’t, my family want me to help do a deep clean of the whole house :((’

You lied as you didn’t want him to be suspicious or worried about you when you couldn’t reply to his texts, little did he know it was because you had a plan in place to surprise him, even going as far as getting Iwa in on it. Oikawa insisted that you meet Iwaizumi when you two first started your relationship, which ended up with both you and Iwa teasing Oikawa to no end for the majority of the call. You heard another couple of dings from your phone and saw a text from Iwa and Oikawa.

‘We all set to go?’ Iwa texted you.

‘Yeah I just boarded the plane, hbu?’

‘We’re about to start warming up for practice but yeah I’m all set.’

You sighed in relief at his message, knowing everything was going according to plan. You checked Oikawa’s message.

‘oh ok :((( Iwa-chan will be staying over at my place tonight for a few hours after practice so when we can call pls keep the teasing to a minimum’ Oikawa sent, causing you to giggle.

‘No promises baby ;)’

‘No fair >:( babe warm ups for practice are starting now so I gtg I love you!’

‘I love you too Tooru’

The pilot started making the announcement stating how the plane was about to begin take off, causing you to almost jump out of your seat due to excitement. It was going to be a long plane ride, but it would be more than worth it when you got to be with your boyfriend in person.

“Annnnnnnd we have landed, enjoy your stay folks.” The pilot announced over the speaker, causing you to jolt awake from your sleep as you almost squealed in excitement, immediately taking out your phone to text Iwa that you had landed safely are were starting to exit the plan.

‘That’s great, we’re about to start walking to his place after the coach gives us feedback, do you need me to send his address again?’

‘Nah I got it, thank you so much for all your help Iwa :)’

‘Np Y/N, after all it’ll get him off my back for a while’ You laughed at the message causing a few people to look at you while you exited the airport. You sat down on a bench and waited for a few minutes before texting Oikawa, knowing he’d probably would be walking home right about now.

‘Ok I’m almost finished with the cleaning, I’ve got something I wanna show you when I’m done’

‘Oooo a surprise, is it a good or bad surprise tho?’

‘Good surprise, but you’ve gotta wait, but trust me it’ll all be worth it :)’

‘mmmmm fine only because I love uuuuu’

‘I love you too, now I gotta get back to cleaning I’ll ttyl baby, but text me when you and Iwa get back home safe ok?’

‘Of course Y/N-chan, byeee I love uuuuu sm’

You sighed happily as you waved down a taxi and it pulled over for you, the driver getting out of the taxi to help you with your luggage.

‘Got home safe baby :)’

You smiled down at the message and then asked the driver to stop at a park that was a couple blocks from Oikawa’s house. You grabbed your luggage and sat on a park bench as you texted Iwaizumi again.

‘I’m at the park near his house and I’m about to start walking over, we all set?’

‘Yea he’s just pouting saying how he needs to hear your voice so please get here quick’

‘Lmao you don’t have to tell me twice’

And with that you grabbed your things and started heading over to his place. You took in the peaceful surroundings as you felt your heart drum against your chest rapidly with each step you took, getting closer and closer to being with him. And there you stood at his front door as you texted Iwa one last one.

‘I’m at the front door’

And once you saw the check mark indicating Iwaizumi had read the text you rung the doorbell. You heard Iwa yell a “I’ll get it, trashykawa” to Tooru before he opened the door and smiled as he saw you.

“Hey Y/N, we’re good to go, it’s just me and him home and he doesn’t suspect a thing” He said pulling you into a quick hug and bringing your luggage inside for you as you tip-toed inside his house. Iwaizumi made his way up the stairs as you followed behind him, still creeping as you didn’t want to make a sound. With each step you took your heart pounded faster and faster and a massive smile had it’s way to your face. It’s really happening, you thought to yourself. Iwa stopped just in front of Oikawa’s closed bedroom door, giving you a small smile and a nod and you gave one back in return as you heard Oikawa whine from inside his room “Iwaaaa-channnnn why are you taking soooo longggg?” Iwaizumi rolled his eyes as he opened the door and walked inside, while you stayed in the hallway, waiting for Iwa to say your secret code to que you to enter.

“Yeah yeah, I was talking to the person who was at the door, they needed directions”

And that was your que. You stepped into the room, as you saw Oikawa’s eyes widen as he looked up at you from his desk that he was sitting at.

“NO FUCKING WAY, I’VE GOTTA BE DREAMING, IWA-CHAN PINCH ME” Oikawa stood up as he heard you giggle at his reaction and made his way towards you with the biggest smile resting on both your faces. He pulled you into his arms and kissed the top of your head, holding you flush against his chest. You immediately melted into his touch and held him just as tight.

“I’ll leave you guys to it, have fun” Iwaizumi said as he exited the room.

“AND USE PROTECTION” He added as he walked down the stairs, causing you both to blush but chuckle.

“wAIT THIS WAS THE SURPRISE YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT” You giggled at his reaction and just kissed his cheek and muttered a “no shit” in the process.

You both spent hours talking as you both laid down in his bed as he held you while you rested your head on his chest. He stroked your hair, still shocked that both you and Iwa-chan pulled this off so flawlessly, but he couldn’t be any happier. He went ahead and called his mother asking if you could stay at their place for your stay in Miyagi and she agreed as you knew about you and Oikawa and she adored you as well.

Before you both went to bed he pulled you close to him and rested your foreheads together before softly, yet passionately kissing your lips, expressing all the love he had for you in the kiss as you did the same back.

The next day you both got ready to attend his game, he even gave you his spare jersey so you could wear it in the crowd so everyone would know you two are together.

“Y/N wait” he said as he pulled you close to him as you started making your way to the stands since the game was about to begin. He softly kissed your lips as he wrapped his arms around your waist and you wrapped yours around his neck.

“I can’t play the game if I don’t get my good luck kiss” he winked at your blushing face before kissing your cheeked and running back to his team. Aoba Johsai won the match, causing him to pull you into his chest afterwards.

“Tooruuu you’re sweaty”

“Doesn’t matter, I need my Y/N-hugs”

He took you on small cute dates for the rest of your stay, even if some days were just both of you staying inside and watching movies while eating ice cream and milkbread. And you made sure to steal his shirts, sweaters, hoodies, and volleyball jacket at any given opportunity which made his heart M E L T at how cute you looked in them and he defiently gave you some of his clothes to take back with you when you did have to leave so you could have it when you missed him.

He took you to the park that near his house, the same one you got dropped off at the day you surprised him. It was sunset and he insisted on taking pictures and polaroids with you so he could have you as his background and definitely not so he could get them printed and frame them and so he could keep a Polaroid of you in his phone case. Which later turned into you both laying down on the picnic blanket he had brought and stargazing, pointing out the constellations to each other, while he held you close to his chest and him giving you his jacket so you wouldn’t catch a cold before he wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you even closer to his chest.

“It’s so beautiful”

“Yeah, it is” he says softly as you move around in his arms to see him looking down at you with a soft loving look on his features, causing you to blush before reaching up to share a loving kiss with one another.

“Babe I got you something” he said before rummaging around in his bag

“Tooru you really didn’t have to, just being here with you is more than enough”

He grabs your hands in his before he opens a small box, revealing a beautiful silver ring. You gasp at the sight.

“Y/N after this year we’ll both be finished with high school and I wanna be able to be with you everyday after that, I wanna be able to wake up next to you every day, get to appreciate the little things with you everyday, have you be mine everyday. This isn’t a proposal obviously.” He chuckled as he softly moved his hand under your chin so you’d make direct eye contact , the look of pure love in his eyes making you melt.

“It’s a promise. A promise that one day, I will give you that proposal, only if that’s what you want of course.”

“Of fucking course Tooru” you said, tears of happiness welling up in your eyes. He slipped the ring onto your finger and kissed your forehead.

I'm hoping it hasn't been twelve hours... I'm convinced it hasn't. Okay, let's go! Why did they wait so long to change, that doesn't make any sense- okay, anyways, good luck!!

I do live in the UK :)

1. it's.... well, it's a bit all over the place. In England (where I live) all restrictions have been lifted so there are no masks required anywhere, and the isolation rules have been changed but the number of cases seem to be rising slightly, but then people are getting vaccinated, and more people are also fully vaccinated, so... yeah. It's weird. They've started vaccinating the under-18s as well!

2. I wouldn't say rampant, but they're definitely there. There were reports of people protesting, and some areas definitely have a lower vaccine take up, and there are also age groups that seem to be taking it less. There's definitely been a lot of rumours about what covid actually does, and people still don't think it's real. There was an incident a few weeks ago, where people were protesting the vaccine and an ex-nurse who spread misinformation said some absolutely horrific things...

3. I have. But actually, a lot of the misinformation and conspiracies I've seen online have been on TikTok, and have therefore tended to come from American people instead of British. My dad has been forwarded a lot of WhatsApp videos about how you don't need to get vaccinated- he deleted them and is fully vaccinated, but still.

3. Okay so some of my family now despise the tories even more than they did before. Others haven't really changed their views, because they're rich enough to actually benefit from the tories being in power (don't ask me how) and think the government did their best. I think it proved to a lot of people that the government really do not care about the future. They were willing to let children starve, they screwed an entire cohort of A-Levels over, and they really only care if you can afford to give them more money.

It's made the people in my life more aware of the role class and race play when it comes to medical care, and it also showed a lot of them how willing the government were to put the economy ahead of people's lives.

When it comes to the vaccine, a decent amount of people in my family got vaccinated, but the running theme there tends to be: public sector or clinically vulnerable. My dad works in education, my sister in healthcare and my mum was shielding. They all got vaccinated. I did as well when it became an option (my arm still hurts like a bitch lol)

But other people in my family have seen misinformation and now don't want to get vaccinated because they think they'll be safe/they heard and believe the conspiracy theories. I also have friends that are going to wait to get vaccinated because they're not convinced it's actually safe for the under-18s. My mum has a friend that will forward the anti-vaxxer videos etc, because she believes them and is firmly against getting any sort of vaccine for anything. So yeah! I hope that answers your questions, if you have anymore, just ask!

Hi everyone! I'm gonna try to stay on top of my shit but no promises. There are a lot of people that I don't know at all in this game, but so far Randy, Clash, Nick, and Dani have been the people to message me. Dani and I played Guyana together and did well, so it's nice to have her as someone to talk to this early on.

I don't really see any obstacles yet, it's all a matter of how i bring my game to the table and who i learn does it better. This is my second BB game so I have a little bit of learning to do since the gameplay is a bit different than Survivor.

I love the idea of going to Friday night dinner. Not only do i love dinner and Friday nights, but i think it's completely fair and chill. Your decisions may or may not help you and that's what I like. I enjoy seeing how advantages work for different people and how people make weaker ones work in their favor.

I joined this game last minute when I wasn't planning on playing for a while, so I'm still trying to get mentally prepared for the conversations and challenges ahead. I hope that doesn't put a target on my back.

Hi first confessional here. I've been struggling with playing 2 games at the same time it's hard to keep up. Now i get some quiet time to catch up this lovely morning. This cast is fun and varied. I was excited to see some people I've played with in the past (Drew, Karen, Isaac, Andrew, Dan, and Ricky) and meet some new people. I'm finding it hard to message people because I hate the awkward small talk in the beginning but I don't want to get targeted. While I know those people from the past, they're also obstacles because I know, according to timestamps, Karen and Isaac targeted me in the HOH and they're probs definitely working together. I'm hoping I can stay under the radar for now and let large groups go after each other until I get a chance to build more relationships.

Dani - Dani is so kind and I love her so much! We talk all the time and the only issue I have with her is that she’s after Madison who I also like and trust. Their feud might ruin my game long term!

I am 17 years old and currently have a regular drivers license, with no class M designation. I have been riding dirtbikes since I turned 4, and have been racing them for the past 3 years. I think telling this to my insurance company would do one of two things (if it does anything at all haha). Either they will think, oh this kid knows what he's doing, let's cut him a break and lower his rates or they will think oh this kid races, he will probably carry those habits to the road, thereby endangering himself and others. In 2008 lightening strike hit house and since that time we hav had 6 water dameges in the house.Since that time all insurance companies NEVER real INVESTIGATE or find COUSE OF THAT, Finnaly again We have had BLACK SEPTIC WATER n the house 06/19/2012. 9 days after adjuster show and underastimate damages. month after that , after we constantly complain, ask for updated estimate and approval damages so that we hire contractor Property finaly has been inspected again and they find much more damages ( so far $83.000.00 ). House is damaged very much as well as our belongings. All that time from 2008-today insurance companys charged as with deductibles , we spend lot money trying to fix problems, we are darined emotionaly and financionaly. Last year , just after one similar claim ( 01/06/2011 black water flood ) we were FORCED to file for CH 13 that we can at least save what we can save, TODAY, Insurance company with who is house covered has not reacted We think fast enough to save more house and our belongings. Insurance is escaping to cover what need to be maybe replaced( wood entrance door through septic water was running , built in castum made cabinets in master beedroom, cut wall and replaced behind showertubs........) 9 days after that accident we finaly has Insurance attention and the send SERPRO here. Servpro find that water was SEPTIC, Walls need to be Cut ( so far 1 foot from the ground ). When Servpro cut draywalls ut shows that stabs 2x4 has been damaged , they spray them ( we think that they need to replace them )......... We are now in almost two months after accident becouse we do not agree on damages sattlemant. They serve us on 08.01.2012 with activating adjusster process and we do not have money any more to pay for that, OUR HOUSE DURING PAST 4 YEARS BECOUSE OF ALL THIS LOST LOT ON VALUE AND WE WOULD LIKE TO SUE INSURANCE COMPANIES AS WELL AS TWO LANDERS WHO WERE IGNORING PROBLEM IN THE HOUSE. WE HAVE PROOF FOR ALL THIS . IS ANYWHERE POOSIIBLE TO FIND ATORNEY WHO CAN HELP US LITTLE BIT WITH THIS BIG BROBLEM MY HOUSBAND IS 61 I AM 55 AND MY HOUSBAND IS THISE DAY WORKING OUTSIDE FOR AROUND 70 HOURS A WEEK THAT WE CAN PAY OUR RAISING EXPANSSESS.
