Seeing how Brigs is with his Drackonack made Wuq eventually start feeling things for animals. She never thought she would go out of her way to adopt a scraggly senior Plumpy. It turned out to be the sweetest thing that loves cuddles and pats, despite its looks.

I was always a big fan of Plumpy's palette and hair experiments, and in retrospect it was really nice to have at least one variation in body types in the Webkinz mascots.

A study with digitising traditional pencil/fineliner/biro drawings with some layer adjustments I've never touched before. Would've done this digitally but pencils are just easier to work with when it comes to colours tbh. Nicer texture too. I'll have to remember it for future pieces.

Fat tears roll in cascades down his ebony-colored skin, he laughed at his pathetic state, to think if you saw him like this: The Hobie Brown, The Earth-616 Spiderman, The anarchist little shit, bawling like a baby over you.

“Just go see her.”

“She hates me-”

“No, she doesn’t.” she interjected, “Yes, yes she does.”

Gwen presses her lips in a thin line as she stares at Hobie slumped on his couch, he looked so vulnerable, so sad, so broken. She smiles sadly for her friend, but the truth is that Gwen doesn’t know much about you. She knows a few things, like that you and Hobie were together for a year before he called it quits because he didn’t want you to get caught in the crossfire of his job. She knows that he loved you dearly and that you guys were polar opposites, completely different from each other, but opposites attract, right? But she still fails to understand why Hobie thinks you hate him.

"Why do you say she hates you?" She mumbles, continuing to clean her drum set. He sighs as he sets his guitar down,

"She doesn't know I'm Spiderman. But I still felt the urge to protect her, to keep her safe, away from danger. Away from me. So, I made up a shitty excuse to break up with her and I just know she hates me for it." He groans looking away.
