I really liked that episode too! I guess what’s really making the past few episodes stand out is the character developments? So, I’m not really feeling josiexfinch BUT I like how it’s helping Josie’s character grow to try and be more confident with herself? I’m not cool with Lizzie lying to Josie about Finch. I understand it, I guess, but I don’t like it.

//I’m not sure if this an unpopular opinion but it’s an opinion about miu i have and i have to talk about it.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR NDRV3 / CHAPTER 3 / 4 UNDER THE CUT!

Unspoilery version? I love Miu and her character, but not her writing. They needed someone to dispose of and put together a half baked plan for Miu. They never learn to make the most of a character. Even one that was SUPPOSED to be unlikeable like Miu. It’s fucking stupid, but I’m not writing DR, am i?

Chapter 4 was a fucking hOT MESS. you wanna know why?

miu. miu was the reason. i’ll be honest im of the 1% that loved miu from the start, i stanned, i was hoping she lived until the end. and then there was chapter 4 and the neo world program.

at first i thought this may be laying grounds for a reveal similar to sdr2 (which would have been much better then the one we got) in chapter 6. but no... instead we got miu lying, having the most fucking cardboard reasons for lying AND for trying to kill kokichi. now, dont get me wrong. i love what they did with kokichi and how he manipulated gonta and everything there

but thats the problem.

they only seemed to give a shit about kokichi.

now, at this point im still reeling from the death of tenko okay both of my favs fucking dead in back-to-back chapters. but when we got to actual trial.... thats where i start to complain. miu’s motivation was fucking garbage.

to me it came across “oh she only targeted him because no one liked him” which ok, if you wanna prank someone or something but for murder? i get its a killing game and everyone is high-strung but... i just never felt i got a reason why miu wanted to leave beyond self-preservation. if it was similar to chapter 2′s motive i get that, i can roll with it. like miu needs to get back to her loved ones for whatever reason and targets kokichi because hey everyone but gonta thinks he’s a piece of shit anyway, why not. THAT i can get behind. but not what they went with.

miu is a fucking genius for actually creating the neo-world program don’t get me wrong but there's so much more they could have used it for then a half-baked murder plan which got HER killed in the end.

im not saying kokichi shouldn’t be a character or that gonta is an idiot for letting himself get into this situation

what i AM saying is: Danganronpa too frequently will throw together plotlines or waste characters simply because they can’t be bothered to round out the entire cast. Thank you.
