Everyone is encouraged to take part in this newest event as a way of further developing your characters, their relationships, and so forth. The event itself will last as long as the game play does; one week in time, for the roleplay this event will last from Sunday 6th August until Sunday 13th August as per the flyer. Gif-chats, threads and the like are encouraged between all characters to take place during the event as well as continuing your outside event interactions.

EVENT 002: WANDERLUST FESTIVAL

The hustle and bustle normally associated with brisk walks, laughing children whilst they play, couples taking romantic strolls or just those on their way to work has been replaced overnight. Stalls with vibrant colours now fill every inch of the little green paradise that is Central Park. The stalls hold a wide range of treasure and fun to explore, from food to trinkets, arts & crafts and various body painting. The festival itself is famous for its week long festivities and both day & evening events.

Mini fairground rides such as a carousel and ferris wheel have been erected alongside game booths to entertain whilst browsing through the market stalls. Ticket booths can be found at all corners selling various events from concerts to dance halls, writing lectures and so forth. It’s hard to miss the event and it’s been heavily celebrated by the city council as something for all the family to enjoy. And with something so wholesome and fun, what could possibly go wrong?

As of this post we are officially open. Please feel free to post starters for Gif-Chats, Gif-Paras or even open paragraph threads. Whilst this event is in no way mandatory, we figured it would be an interesting way to bring characters together that otherwise wouldn’t. Likewise you can also choose to interact with characters outside of the event if you have plans of how you’d like to connect the dots naturally. The most important thing is to have fun :)

EVENT ONE: YOU’RE NOT ALONE

Things have been odd, downright strange even, but the feeling can be pushed away most days. You can’t quite pinpoint exactly when things changed, or in some cases even how, but the one certainty you have is that it has. The worst part is there’s no one to talk to, either they’d think you were mad - there are days you think you are - or you don’t trust them. Not with everything that’s been happening, the disappearances... the men in suits that keep randomly appearing.

That’s when it happens.

Your phone gently vibrates to alert you to a new message. It takes a good few read throughs to manage any form of comprehension. It must be a prank, surely. If it’s not... well no one would go and meet a stranger in the park if they’re messaging from an unknown number. That’s just the kind of recklessness that would have many a parents head spinning. Then the second message arrives. You’re Not Alone.

The decision to attend the park, against all better judgement, niggles in the back of your mind for the rest of the afternoon.
