I think one of my favourite parts of shooting at the pool is thinking of pool specific cosplays to make and I really wanted to cosplay a water type for VienCon this year!

The best part of cosplaying Dewott was doing a duo cosplay with Kiwi_cos_play as Octillery ♥

Espeon is (probably) my absolute favorite Pokémon and I've actually wanted to do a version of her for a very long time! I decided to make a kind of modern-day psychic. 🤣 And of course, purple is my favorite color, so it was a no brainer. 😉 Everything was bought for this costume! Notably, the ears & tail from Etsy seller KaliKatCosplay.

My costume for Collect-a-Con Orlando was Merlotic AKA Pokémon Gijinka Milotic! This is the first costume I’ve made by hand from scratch in a long time and boy did my neck injury remind me why 🫠 I do have some more improvements in mind for the next time I wear this…possibly Metrocon?

Everyone was so nice, and so many little kids were just like “MERMAID 😱👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻” which definitely made me shift into princess mode LOL

Duskull - Pokemon Cosplay 2016

Lowkey a kind of cursed cosplay but I respect the vision teenage me had when throwing together this cosplay!

2016 was the year I learned what a Gijinka is and I was very much into the idea of cosplaying a pokemon gijinka. I thought Duskulls mask was really cute and that was enough for me! Ofcourse Nairyn.cos was so kind as to take photo's of me in cosplay because she's an absolute icon

My Luxray armor was always intended to light up, but I couldn't finish putting everything I wanted into it by the time the competition I was entering rolled around.

But now, finally, I'm applying for another competition with this cosplay, and therefore have the motivation to finish it as it was always meant to be! Almost cried a little after getting the LEDs successfully installed the other day ����

This year for Holiday Matsuri, I wasn’t able to finish any of my other projects in time, so I cranked out a Meowscarada gijinka (of my own design) in about a week and a half 🫠 I had a blast at the Pokémon meetup, though, and it was amazing to see so many friends 💜

One thing that has always intrigued me about old Kalosian nights was their importance they put on presentation while in their armor. Being a night who had an amazing outfit put them in high status, as well as making the king or queen look good. Because of this, you see many pieces or sets of armor resembling other pokemon as well
