sometimes im like "wow i wish poketwt" would notice me !! and then i see several grooming call out posts and have several instances where people from former communities i was part of are still on some bullshit and i backpedal in that thought process until the materialistic side of me wins.

I haven't been feeling too good mentally as of lately and I wanna just talk out and come clean about some stuff.

most of the stuff that has been getting to me is rather petty and easy to forget/resolve such as me raging at Splatoon 3's Salmon Run + Splatfest this month (theme sucked and too many mirror matches so I played less), a follower stealing + cropping my artwork (has been taken down without conflict), and my summer trip not coming into fruition (holding onto hope the bigger and better summer vacation that we've been planning for years, fingers crossed the big plan come into fruition in summer of 2024). however, I do acknowledge sometimes my sensory overload gets the best of my emotions and I overreact at times, it's something I need to work on still.

there's also my future now that i'm an adult and going into university next month. I'm nervous but I shouldn't be scared of my future so there's only one way to go, and that's to face it rather than run away from my problems and worries.

there's also been my feelings regarding Pokemon as of lately (this is probably the part I really wanna talk about). as you guys know, I really like drawing Pokemon related artwork but I've been shifting from my furryverse AU Pokemon to my PMDQ AU. i was kind of vague regarding why and I'm hesitant on going into detail in fear of backlash. so... back at the start of July, I found a link to a Pokemon Twitter discord server (I will not publicly name drop the server or anyone there), and eventually I got kicked from there less than a week later (rejoined only to get banned/kicked without any elaboration). I'm not sure as to why but I guess it was allegedly over a headcanon regarding character ages (unless I'm not getting the full picture). plus I eventually talked to my friends (after i got banned/kicked) about how I was treated there and they told me that if people are going to rile my anxiety due to poor communication, be judgemental over opinions (like B2W2 is a sequel but who plays Pokemon for the story?), be defensive over headcanons (it's called a headcanon, it's your interpretation and you shouldn't force it as canon), and having to fake it till you make it, then it's not worth hanging out with people who are just going to make you feel uncomfortable. I've just been choosing to avoid a good portion of Poketwt (plus interacting way less on Twitter X as a whole) as a result and I feel like it's best for my mental health, and I'm mostly limiting Pokemon interactions with friends and mutuals (over on Discord so I'm avoiding most Pokemon servers now).
