Remember that background pony who didn't really do anything and then the fandom shipped him with Pinkie. Well, here he is, and I thought too long about him, and have grown attached. I've always thought that these two were an opposites attract kind of deal, and I like that ship dynamic, ho ho Headcanon time baby to flesh his man out~ 

I have numbered this in chronological order and I won't write much for each part, so let's get to it!!:

 1:This was when Pokey Pierce first moved to Ponyville. He moved there before the time of the show, and was a loner and pretty depressed. He didn't talk to anyone in town, and seems scary. 

2: Pinkie soon finds out that there's someone new in town. In her usually Pinkie Pie fashion she wants to befriend this new pony and make him feel welcome. Mrs. Cake tells her to be careful since no one knows what's his deal(also the pony gossip has been saying rude things about him). Mrs. Cake knows she can't really stop Pinkie, so she tells her to be kind as well as careful since he seems sad. 

3: One day Pinkie delivers a small cake to Pokey in person. When he opens the door Pinkie did most if not all of the talking in the conversation. She acts more sensitive and not as hyper to put him at ease. When she finishes talking, Pokey takes the cake gently and then closes the door on her without a word. He looked quite sad. 

Turns out it was his birthday that day, and no one came to visit or to celebrate with him. He has no friends or family here. He started to cry not long after he closed the door on Pinkie

4: Around a month later, Pinkie sends a cute letter to Pokey asks, if it was okay for her to come to his home unannounced, and if he liked the cake. After waiting a long while(several months possibly) he responds with a thank you letter. He says that all is okay and he wouldn't mind if she sent more. (Pinkie could had possibly sent more letters before he responded with one of his own) 

 5: They send back and forth short cute letters, and build up a friendship. Pinkie then in one of the letters ask if they can have talks in person, a little shocked that someone would want to talk with him, Pokey agrees. They hangout from time to time and become true friends.

6: At this point Pokey goes out more and meets more ponies with Pinkie introducing him most of the time. He's like a regular resident of Ponyville now, friendly and part of the community. He goes to Pinkies parties, but not often.(there are lots and he can't keep up) He does usually have a fun time tho. He's still a sad boi sometimes.

Pokey is a tall unicorn with a long dense horn. He's sarcastic but kind, and doesn't share much about himself. (He also doesn't have the ability for magic, and I plan to explain that more in a species headcanon piece)

7: During the runtime of the show he sends a sends a letter to Pinkie, since she's off on adventures and he misses her. He would be all: "haha remember when we did this, we could do it again, jk...  unless"

8:They start hanging out more often, and keep sending letters. Whenever Pinkie Pie is in Ponyville they hang out. They both kinda start developing feelings

9: They become very close, and open up to each other, by sharing sad thoughts. They support each other through it. Pokey shares that he grew up in Canterlot, and didn't have a good time there. His direct family wasn't very nice since they're more upper class unicorns and put a lot pressure on magic ability. He has never been able to do magic, not a single spell, so his family was pretty cruel to him.  Pinkie is a good listener, and also gives Pokey emotional support. Later Pinkie opens up to Pokey, and shares that she feels her family has never really understood her and aren't that supportive. Especially when she left for Ponyville, but now things are better. She has all her great supportive friends in Ponyville and when she visits her family things are much better. 

 10: The two continue sending more heartfelt letters until my end of the series. (Events go differently in this universe but I haven't decided how exactly yet)

 11: Pokey Pierce decides that he's going to confess his feelings that have been up this whole time. Since, everything has really calmed down, and there's not many adventure anymore, he can't any longer to confess. Now is as good a time as any!          He has a very loose plan. He casually asks to hang out alone sometime. Pinkie in her usually excited way "of course!" He comes with a bow tie, but Pinkie doesn't dress up since she doesn't know that he would. The two hang out then when the conversation dies down, he gets nervous, and weirdly tells her. She doesn't understand, since he's not making sense. Embarrassed but determined he tries several more times, but can't find the words. Then defeated he hangs his head down for a quiet moment. Pinkie pats his shoulder with an awkward smile on her face.      With Pokey's head still hanging down he asks if Pinkie will be his special somepony, with a sigh. She doesn't respond. Pokey slowly lifts his head up to see her face, and is shocked to find her all starry eyed. She quietly asks with her hoof still on his shoulder, "really?" "Y-yeah, that's what I've been trying to tell you..." With a burst of excitement she pulls him into a hug "OF COURSE, I WILL!"

12: The two dates for many years. Both are very happy and share many smooches. Pokey becomes much more outwardly happy, even with the ups and downs. He still needs some alone time though. Pinkie makes Pokey happy, and he can kindly bring her down to earth, if needed. Much support, much respect

13:This one is to compare with the beginning Pokey Pierce. He was grumpy and sad quiet, but now he's content and happy quiet with sprinkles of playful sarcasm. 

14: The two have talked about marriage, but didn't really think it was the time. Then Pinkie proposed and Pokey couldn't say no. It was a very emotional moment with many tears and kisses. They had a big wedding because Pinkie would want as many of her loved ones there as possible. Kids came soon after since they really wanted kiddos, but Pokey was worried about his unicorn genes and causing problems for their future children.

15:Just them being cute. I probably didn't need a number for this one, haha

And all I have really to say about them for now! Hopefully it wasn't too much information.

Did you miss me? haha I had a lot of thoughts for Pokey Pierce since I slowly developed him when I started shipping him with Pinkie so it was a little bit more of a relationship. I discovered while making this that if was a little too much drawing, so in the future there won't be as much art for one deviation. Man this took me a long ass time. I didn't even add much nice things art wise. Anyways, can you guess which piece is my favorite? What's yours?

(Sweet Treat's CM)

Welcome to the revamped DislikedVerse, aka the Disliked Ships AU. This is in no way meant to be a platform for hate, it's just an excuse for me to make some cute fankids for MLP ships I don't particularly care about.

These two are Laffy Taffy and Sweet Treat, the 19 year old twin children of Pinkie Pie and Royal Pin (or Pokey Pierce, whichever name you prefer). Both of them were designed by @shelbicat-artsi . The two twins mainly had Pinkie raising them on her own growing up as Royal Pin left before they were born. In fact, he doesn't even know they exist. The two of them met one evening at one of Pinkie's parties, and after a few conversations and a little too much apple cider, they...spent the night together, so to speak. Royal Pin was gone the next morning and about a month later, Pinkie found out that she was expecting. She was unable to locate Royal Pin to tell him the news and after having a bit of a mental breakdown due to the situation that she got herself in (a la the fanfic "No More Fun And Games"), she accepted it and vowed to be a good mother to her foal, or two foals as she later found out. Plus, she knew that she would have her best friends to help her.

Laffy Taffy is a confectioner whose talent is to make others happy. He's very considerate about the feelings of others and will make it his own personal mission to make you smile if you're having an off day. His sister Sweet Treat is cake decorator who helps out at Sugarcube Corner. She has a keen eye for detail and is a very reliable employee, always making sure that the cakes look best for customers. Sweet Treat also has a big honkin' crush on Pound Cake.

Draw a pony or ponies doing as many of our past prompts as possible / Draw a pony mixing things up. I got this idea brainstorming one of the earlier days and had planned to draw it once the ATG was over. But the minute I saw the words 'mixing things up' in the prompt today, I said "OK, we're doing this!" Pokey and Pinkie's daughters love baking and are both quite adept at it.

I like to think that the triplets like to feel the others are there. Sometimes they end up touching each other with a hoof inadvertently and sometimes they do it consciously, especially if they spend a lot of time apart.

Also just remembered one of your old PokeyPie twins was named Fizzy Pop, which I know wasn't intentional at the time but if you were to keep her around for your current verse she could possibly have been named in honor of Tempest? I don't know, just a random idea I noticed/had lol

Hmm, I’m not sure about fully keeping her anymore but that probably would’ve been a cute idea to incorporate in that sense 👍

ATG 8 - Beginning Artist

Draw a pony doing something you like to do / Draw your OC’s special talent. 

Chocolate Chip, the youngest of Pokey and Pinkie Pie's children was quite young when he got his cutie mark. The kid loved drawing since he was old enough to make lines in the food splattered on his highchair. One day his parents found him drawing on the wall (again) having earned his cutie mark and looking just as pleased with himself as he could be. 

He still had to clean the wall before he could have his cutecenera though.

Story and notes below the cut

Pokey's parents were located on a rung of Manehattan society's ladder where ponies were well off enough but wanted to push themselves that little extra bit farther up. Pokey, or as we was named, Royal Pin, never liked the children his parents took him to playdates with as a guise of networking. When he was young, he fell in with the wrong crowd, a group of street thugs who would go about the streets pickpocketing for a laugh. They accepted him and so he played along. He loved the thrill of planning and executing a hit on a mark and grew more daring, quickly learning and mastering the art of lockpicking.

One night, Royal Pin and another thief executed a burglary. They had cased the house and knew the family of three that lived there were planning a vacation and the house would be empty. But their plans must have changed, because Royal Pin and his partner were confronted by the mare of the house. Panicked, Royal his partner charged a spell and fired, killing the mare.

The two ran, but were shortly caught by the police. While waiting for trial, Royal Pin learned that the couple had a little filly, now motherless. Horrified, he confessed and turned over his partner. Royal Pin spent the next several years in jail.

When he got out, he moved to Ponyville and lived with his brother, Ponet. Still haunted with guilt, Royal Pin planned to live the straight and narrow, keep his head down and hopefully find a way to make penance.

The day he arrived in Ponyville, Ponet took him to Sugarcube Corner to celebrate. There they met Pinkie, who of course had to plan a welcome party for Ponet's brother, who was new to town. Not wanting anypony to know about his past, Royal Pin introduced himself as Pokey, a childhood nickname he had picked up due to his sharper-than-normal horn. Against his brother's advice, Pokey refused to have a party be held for him. But, as I'm sure you know, Pinkie can be quite persuasive. Eventually Pokey bit the bullet and soldiered through the party to get her out of his mane and go back to being miserable and feeling sorry for himself.

Pinkie, however, had other plans. Pokey never smiled at his party or any other time she talked with him. Thus, the pink mare made it her life’s mission to turn his frown upside down. She started small, just a hello and a bright, chipper smile whenever she saw him. Then she made sure that she saw him more frequently, finding out where he was working odd jobs and stopping for a chat, usually one-sided. Then, with a little help from Ponet, she discovered when his birthday was and threw him a surprise party every year, as well as an anniversary of moving to Ponyville party.

At first, Pokey was annoyed. He came from a world where ponies were only nice to you when they wanted something; the concept of Pinkie just being nice was foreign to him. He started to wonder when the penny would drop. When it never did, he continued on and did his best to feel sorry for himself and bury himself in the job he got at Barnyard Bargains.

Very slowly, he found himself smiling when Pinkie greeted him or stopped to chat. Eventually chatting turned into conversations and regular stops to Sugarcube Corner to reciprocate. But Pokey was still prone to bouts of depression when he realized what was happening. After all, what right had he to be happy when he had had a hoof in the death another pony.

Then one day, as he was passing Sugarcube Corner, he heard Pinkie calling to him. At first, he prepared a deflection, until he noticed that she sounded different. She was waving somewhat frantically from the door of the shop. Pokey approached and was quickly pulled inside by a frantic Pinkie. For some reason, the Cake twins had thought it would be funny to lock the door to their room. Then when they couldn't figure out how to lock it again, they panicked and could be heard wailing on the other side as Pinkie led Pokey up the stairs. Without even thinking, Pokey asked if she had any hairpins. When she had got them, Pokey went to work, unlocking the door in moments and letting a relieved Pinkie comfort the foals inside. When Pinkie had calmed them, she turned to Pokey to thank him and asked if he'd like to stay a while. They played, had snack and then the twins went down for a nap.

As they tidied, Pinkie commented on how good Pokey was with the twins, a fact that had surprised him somewhat. Then she marveled at how wonderful he was for knowing how to open the lock like that and that he was such a good friend. Finally, she asked him where he learned to do that.

He could have lied; he had been lying about his former life for years. He had even lied about it to her. But this time was different. For some reason, though he never knew why, once Pokey started talking, it just kept coming. How his real name was Royal Pin, how he was a thief, first a pickpocket, then a burglar. Part of him wanted to stop, terrified of what she would think. Part of him pushed on, consequences be damned, thinking that if she never wanted to brighten his day again, it didn’t matter. He didn’t deserve to be happy anyway.

Pokey’s cheeks were wet and his throat knotted when he got to his part in the death of the innocent mare and the end of his story. To his great surprise, Pinkie gripped him in a big hug, not saying anything, not judging him, just a hug. Pokey, overcome with years of carrying his secret, wept, and the two of them sat there for hours.

Something changed in Pokey that day. Pinkie introduced him to a group of ponies that were better equipped to help him recover and to talk with. The two of them met frequently as well, sometimes watching the twins, sometimes over various jobs and chores, sometimes just to go on walks or stay in and talk for long periods. When Pokey decided to ask Pinkie out for a proper date, she showed confusion, having thought that was what they were already doing. They threw a party to make it official, anyway.

When a locksmith named Clevis Padlock decided to open up his own shop, he came to Pinkie for help with networking. Knowing how well Pokey was at picking locks, Pinkie introduced the two of them. At first Pokey was hesitant, but the idea grew on him when Pinkie suggested using his 'powers' for good. When Clevis tested Pokey's skill using a complex lock of his own invention, Pokey passed with flying colors and Clevis agreed to the partnership. The pair challenge each other and push the limits of each other's’ creativity, Clevis inventing more and more complex locks and Pokey continuing to crack them.

I used some comic tricks I got from watching NerdSync. In the first column, I moved Pokey from left to right going down the panels. That’s supposed to draw the eye a certain way. I also tried to make use of color by using greys in the panels before Pinkie’s first appearance. Pokey moving from being on the left and switching to the right at the turning point in the story on panel 6 was accidental, but I’m glad it turned out that way.
