Perfume being now on Polydor Records (Polydor Japan) probably doesn’t mean anything approaching overseas. It seems to be a new business strategy by Universal Music in Japan.
Wikipedia: In December 2022, Universal Music Japan reorganized Universal J, which previously was known as Universal Polydor until 2002.[18] The label was split into two record labels, UJ and Polydor Records.[19] The changes took place on January 1, 2023.[19]
Polydor Japan has three sub-labels: Perfume Records, ASSE!! Records (HY exclusive label), and Utahime Records (Akina Nakamori exclusive label). It also has distribution rights for the NHK Records label.
The first release under Polydor in Japan was Kobayashi Touya [ja]'s debut studio album, Hiiragi.[20]

♫ Monday Morning ♫
It’s Monday. And I was in the mood to play a song with ‘Monday’ in the title, for some reason. So, I dug through the archives and found this one that I last played on a Monday back in 2022! At the time, I made the mistake of saying it “wasn’t a bad song”, to which Clive took offense, so let me say right upfront that this is a really good song! Happy Monday!!!
I found very little background…
