For Inktober/Ponytober Day 14 ("Angel"/"Rainbow"). Pipp feels like a nice fit for an angel, especially when you look at her light-coloured, fluffy wings.
Self-reflection:
I pulled the Platinum 3776 from the rotation pending a thorough cleaning. The Montblanc Starwalker will take its place until that issue is fixed.
The bunched up tail to Pipp's right (our left) looks a little too much like an extra hind leg. Its silhouette does, at least.
Tools used:
rOtring 800 (0.5 mm): sketch.
Montblanc 149 (M) with Montblanc Lavender Purple: inking for Pipp Petals.
Montblanc Starwalker (F) with Montblanc Royal Blue: inking for the rainbow and cloud.

Ponytober prompt 14- transformation
I got inspired by those old "two sides" images that used to be real popular back in the old days.
the transformation itself is more of a before and after (or rather an after and before) as the actual transformation process was, eh, different.

For Inktober/Ponytober Day 16 ("Castle"/"Nostalgia"). The Inktober prompt that should have been done today was "Angel"; I am making up the one I accidently swapped in on Day 14.
Self-reflection:
In hindsight, Luna would have been a better fit than Celestia given that I sketched the pony with blue ink. It is also not obvious that this pony is Celestia (she is supposed to have a non-flowing mane here like Season 1 Luna).
Tools used:
rOtring 800 (0.5 mm): sketch.
Montblanc 149 (M) with Montblanc Lavender Purple: inking for the background.
Montblanc Starwalker (F) with Montblanc Royal Blue: inking for Princess Celestia.

Submission for Inktober/Ponytober Day 14 (“Empty”/“Powered up”). A single cup of strong coffee is enough to push Izzy to new heights in terms of energy. It is too late to head for the hills.
Self-reflection:
The entire premise is shaky; I did not know what to do until the last minute, which resulted in a hasty sketch.
Izzy’s head and muzzle shape look more human like than I would otherwise prefer. Her mane is a bit flat especially near the bottom.
Tools used:
rOtring 800 (0.5 mm): sketch.
Pilot MR Metropolitan (F) with Montblanc Lavender Purple: sketch.
Pelikan M1005 (M) with Montblanc Homer Greek Blue: “line-art” and shading.

Ponytober day 14:  bat pony

Submission for Inktober/Ponytober Day 14: “Tick”/”Bat ponies”. Bat pony Zipp's lunch break is cut short by Izzy. On the bright side, those fangs should allow her to make quick work of her apple.
Self-reflection:
I started drawing with the pen I currently have in rotation for writing instead of the sketching pen I had dedicated for Inktober/Ponytober. Because the writing pen writes thicker than my sketching pen and its ink is darker than that in the sketching pen, it is harder to tell the final “line-art” (by design, they straddle the boundary between rough sketch lines and neat line-art lines) from the rough sketch. Furthermore, the “line-art” is rough.
Zipp’s wings look small. The bottom outlines of said wings lack the pronounced curves that bat wings possess. Her foreshortened hindleg (right from viewer’s perspective) may not be convincing. The apple Zipp is holding in her mouth is hard to tell apart from the rest of her head.
Izzy’s body is too small relative to her head. The lower half of her mane, along with the part immediately protruding forth from the back of her head, lacks volume and is indistinct. Her horn is likely too short.
Tools used:
Pelikan M120 (F) with Diamine Aurora Borealis: rough sketch.
Montblanc Meisterstück 149 (M) with Montblanc Lavender Purple: “final” lines.
Platinum 3776 Century (F) with Montblanc Homer Greek Blue: shading.
