So if Ravenpaw were to become a Seer in your Yellowstorm AU witch Clan would he go to??

good question anon! it depends when.

so, roughly, apprentice seers are sent to whichever clan's youngest seer is the oldest. that is, before featherwhisker dies, even though he's the oldest seer, thunderclan is low on the list because yellowstorm is very young.

spottedpaw goes to riverclan, which means we have barkface as windclan's sole seer, and the oldest, so...they're up next!

assuming ravenpaw is the next seer after spottedpaw, he would go there.

of course, this is fairly flexible. if spottedleaf dies in riverclan, for example, mudfur and barkface would have to hash out who gets ravenpaw, and it would probably still be mudfur.

the only clan that can't really take him is shadowclan, because runningnose is clearly younger than both barkface and mudfur. cats don't pay super close attention to age, but they do know that runningnose is young.

you know, while i'm at it, i'm renaming runningnose. i can't do it, it's such...it's a bad name. okay, using poplar because he's grey and white and i like poplar trees, and heart because that seems like a good suffix, let's tentatively say i'm renaming him poplarheart.

(and, of course, littlepaw is a great way to shake up whatever the end results should be. if spottedleaf lives and littlepaw goes to barkface, shadowclan is open for ravenpaw.)

Let’s say there’s a cat named Poplarheart, and she gives birth to three kits: two ginger tabby and white bicolour kits, and one cream tabby and white bicolour. The mate of Poplarheart is Brightflower, and the prefix Patch- is already in use by a Warrior. How are the kits named? I’m having trouble finding other prefixes that could work for bicolours, particularly of the cream or ginger bicolour variety. Thanks!

Hello there! I can see the trouble you’re having: my lists are limited on that front. In this situation, you would either need to research further afield yourself (I would recommend looking at flowers and butterflies as possibilities, given the colours you’re working with?) or you could make things a little easier on yourself and just go with ginger/cream prefixes for this lot. 

It’s not ideal, since it doesn’t entirely represent the cats’ appearances, but it’s an attempt and I think given the alternatives you’ll have to go close enough is good enough on this particular hill. I hope this helps.
