Why Kuwaiti Businesses Are Choosing Odoo for Their ERP Needs
Tumblr media
Kuwait’s economy is thriving, with businesses across industries like oil and gas, retail, logistics, and finance embracing digital transformation to stay competitive. In this fast-paced landscape, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have become indispensable tools for growth. Among the solutions gaining traction, Odoo ERP is a favorite for Kuwaiti businesses.
But why? At Centrix Plus, Kuwait’s trusted partner for Odoo implementation and customization, we’ve witnessed firsthand how this open-source platform is revolutionizing local operations. Here’s why Kuwaiti companies are making the switch to Odoo.
1. Cost-Effective Flexibility for Growing Businesses
Kuwaiti SMEs and large enterprises alike prioritize solutions that deliver value without breaking the bank. Odoo’s modular structure allows businesses to start with essential apps (like accounting, inventory, or CRM) and scale up as needed. Unlike rigid, pre-packaged ERP systems, Odoo’s pay-as-you-grow model aligns perfectly with Kuwait’s dynamic market, where agility is key.
Centrix Plus Insight:We’ve helped Kuwaiti startups and conglomerates customize Odoo modules to fit their budgets, eliminating the need for costly overhauls down the line.
2. Local Compliance Made Simple
Kuwait’s regulatory environment demands precision, including VAT and financial reporting standards. Odoo’s localization features for the Middle East ensure compliance with Kuwaiti laws, from Arabic-language interfaces to automated tax calculations.
Did You Know?Centrix Plus offers Kuwait-specific Odoo customizations, such as Zakat reporting and integration with local banking systems, ensuring seamless adherence to regional requirements.
3. Scalability to Match Kuwait’s Ambitions
With Kuwait Vision 2035 driving economic diversification, businesses need ERP systems that grow with their goals. Odoo’s cloud-based infrastructure supports scalability, whether a company is expanding its warehouse in Shuwaikh or launching an e-commerce platform across the GCC.
Real-World Example:A Kuwaiti logistics firm partnered with Centrix Plus to implement Odoo’s fleet management and route optimization modules. Within months, they reduced delivery times by 30% and scaled operations to serve Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
4. Seamless Integration with Existing Tools
Many Kuwaiti businesses rely on legacy software or niche tools for industry-specific tasks. Odoo’s open-source API allows effortless integration with third-party systems, from government portals to custom POS setups in Kuwaiti retail stores.
Centrix Plus Advantage:Our developers specialize in bridging Odoo with Kuwait’s most-used platforms, ensuring minimal disruption during implementation.
5. Unmatched Customization for Kuwait’s Unique Needs
Kuwait’s market has distinct challenges, from managing seasonal demand during Ramadan to handling complex supply chains. Odoo’s flexible framework lets businesses tailor workflows to their exact needs.
Case in Point:A Kuwaiti construction company used Centrix Plus to build a custom Odoo module for project cost tracking, slashing budget overruns by 22% and improving stakeholder transparency.
Why Centrix Plus is Kuwait’s Go-To Odoo Partner
While Odoo’s benefits are clear, successful implementation requires local expertise. Here’s how Centrix Plus empowers Kuwaiti businesses:
In-Depth Regional Knowledge: We understand Kuwait’s business culture, regulations, and pain points.
24/7 Arabic/English Support: From Salmiya to Jahra, our team provides round-the-clock assistance.
Industry-Specific Solutions: Tailored Odoo setups for healthcare, trading, manufacturing, and more.
Post-Implementation Training: We ensure your team maximizes Odoo’s potential.
The Future of ERP in Kuwait Starts with Odoo

Expanding a little on my ask, I have another Dead Dove: Do Not Eat WIP in the works that reimagines how the unmasking scene between Inho and Gihun could go.
After the rebellion, Inho finds himself trapped. The VIPs are furious, and they demand a price. They want to make an example of Gihun, break him in ways far worse than death. They want to degrade him, make him a symbol of their power. Inho can see what they plan to do, and it makes his stomach turn. The VIPs don’t just want to kill Gihun, they want to destroy him, strip him of every last ounce of dignity before he dies.
But Inho can’t let that happen. He can’t let Gihun be reduced to a toy for their twisted amusement, a puppet in their game. Inho knows he’s been the one holding the strings up until now, but this—this is different. In his desperation, Inho offers a twisted solution. Instead of letting the VIPs kill Gihun outright, he suggests keeping him alive—but not as a player. No, Gihun could be useful to the games in a new way. There’s value in him, more than just another expendable body. There’s more to Gihun than just being another casualty. Inho doesn’t care about the implications; all he cares about is keeping Gihun close, making sure he doesn’t vanish from his grasp.
The VIPs are intrigued by the idea. But, as always, nothing comes for free in their world. They listen, but their calculation is sharp. One of them leans forward, his voice laced with a cold amusement. The question comes, sharp and direct: “Are you willing to take his place, then?”
Inho’s heart lurches, and his breath catches in his throat. Inho knows that in this moment, the only way to keep Gihun alive is to give up everything. His body will be the cost, his submission the price. There’s no turning back now, no escaping the consequences. He agrees, without hesitation. His words come out hoarse through the modulator, but resolute: he will do anything to keep Gihun alive, even if it means surrendering everything.
The VIPs move quickly, with their usual cold efficiency. Inho feels their hands on him before he has a chance to react. The mask is ripped from his face, the sensation of its removal more painful than he expects. It’s not just the sudden exposure to the room, the stripping away of the identity he’s built. It’s the feeling of being completely unprotected—fragile in a way he never allows himself to be.
Being unmasked is unbearable, but it’s nothing compared to the devastation of seeing Gihun’s reaction. The confusion that flickers in his eyes, followed by the betrayal that comes crashing down, is more than Inho can take. He doesn’t even have time to explain, to justify, or to make Gihun understand the reasons behind his actions. It’s all too much—too late.
Inho’s heart sinks as the VIPs force him to his knees, pulling him further into the role they want him to play. They strip him of his dignity, piece by piece, pulling him out of the carefully crafted armor he’s hidden behind for so long. They make quick work of it, their hands unbuckling his belt and unfastening his clothing, and Inho can feel himself being exposed in every possible way. The chill of the air bites at his skin as they remove his final layer, forcing him into a raw, vulnerable state.
He can’t look at Gihun. He knows what lies in those eyes—the anger, the betrayal, the absolute destruction of the bond they once shared. But more than that, there’s another fear that roots him to the spot, making it impossible for him to face the man he has wronged. Inho is ashamed, not just because Gihun will never forgive him, but because of what Gihun will see if he looks into his eyes.
Inho doesn’t want Gihun to see him like this. Bent over, utterly exposed; ready to be taken like a dog in heat. For a brief moment, Inho considers closing his eyes, hoping that if he can shut out the world, the pain might ease. The silence in the room is deafening, and just when Inho thinks he might break under the pressure, one of the VIPs steps forward. Without hesitation, the man grabs a fistful of Inho’s hair, yanking his head up with brutal force.
“Look at him,” the VIP sneers, his grip tightening as Inho’s head is forced back. “Look into his eyes. You’ve made him suffer. You owe him this much.”
And Inho does. He has no choice.
Their eyes meet—locked in a moment so crushing it nearly stops his breath.
He expects rage. He expects disgust. He expects the look of someone who finally sees the monster behind the curtain. But instead, what he sees in Gihun’s eyes is something far more unbearable.
Pity.
It flickers there, through the confusion and devastation—so faint, so fragile, but unmistakably present. Inho can barely process it. Even now, after everything, Gihun looks at him not with hatred, but with something gentler. Something that reaches into the hollow parts of Inho he thought he’d sealed off long ago.
And that mercy—that goodness—cuts deeper than any blade.
Then the pain hits.
Blinding, unrelenting.
There was no warning, no time to brace, no effort to dull what was coming. Inho’s body lurches forward from the force of it, the violence of being used without care or consent, of being treated like an object. The agony is immediate, sharp, and it does not stop.
He tries to breathe through it, tries to steel himself, but there’s no space for composure now—only the sheer reality of what he’s enduring.
Inho is crying before he realizes it. Not just from the pain—which is consuming—but from what Gihun sees. What Gihun is forced to witness. And somehow, impossibly, Gihun is still watching. Still seeing him. Not the Frontman. Not the traitor. Just… Inho.
And that, more than anything, undoes him.
He doesn’t look away.
Neither does Gihun.
Somewhere behind him, another VIP shifts, the sound deliberate, cruelly anticipatory. Another round is coming. More pain. More humiliation.
Inho’s vision blurs. His body shakes. Something deep inside him fractures, maybe for good.
And still—Gihun is there.
Watching.
Seeing.
Forgiving?
Or maybe just enduring, in his own way.
Inho doesn’t know.
He just knows this isn’t the end.
Not yet.
But what’s waiting on the other side of this—if anything—is a question neither of them can answer.
Not now. Not like this.

Top 5 or top 10 favourite Miku designs!!!
OK im finally going to answer this ask using 100% of my brain power.
I don't actually have favorites generally, but there are some modules I would LOVE to see more fanart of, these modules maybe have like one or two pieces of art out there.
SO
Jersey
Tumblr media
just perfectly fits when playing PO PI PO, and Miku with her hair in a bun is always good.
2. Hello, Good Night
Tumblr media
I mean just look at Her, She's the Queen of dreams and snork-mimimi. Basically the sandman if he was fucking epic. (this song is so fucking hard tho)
3. FOnewear Style
Tumblr media
Extreme video game vibes, and ELF EARS. AND THE BOOTS WHIP ASS!!! I love all the little ball accessories
4. Hello World
Tumblr media
I've literally never seen fan art of this module. It's super "sci-fi princess of the galaxy" vibes, it's Miku from the year 2253. It's the Miku that appears as an AI controlling some kind of 'Arc' class spaceship, the humans on board have all died for some reason so when you meet her she's been alone for awhile... I just made myself sad wtf.
5. Dancing All Night
Tumblr media
Extremely cool, extremely techo, this Miku knows how to put on a rave, and the little screens on her chest are animated! Plus the black boots, the black skirt, and the black gloves are sexy af
6. Interviewer
Tumblr media
This is what Miku wears on a day She has off, the low ponytails, the bike shorts, no shoes, baggy hoodie like whats not to love. But then they go and give Her red eyes? why tf not
7. Racing Miku 2012 ver.
Tumblr media
The racing QUEEN, She is presiding over one of those violent 'death race' type of motorsports events and She's sitting in a skybox watching the chaos unfold and laughing. She may or may not be meddling with the outcome of the race with a devious control panel that's linked to all kinds of hazards built into the track. She may or may not have some kinda freakish underling that's just begging to activate his most fucked up traps and obstacles, and She may or may not allow him to set some of them off, if she's in the mood.
8. Siren
Tumblr media
I find this module really charming because you'd think the color combinations and the kind of antiquated dress design wouldn't work but they come together in this campy way and it's so good. And the song it's tied to has this great 'twist' where the beginning of the song is this slow ballad being sung in some kinda garden, and then it's revealed that She's ACTUALLY performing in this crazy far off alien-world arena where I imagine all kinds of shady characters and rough types are patrons. And they come from all over to hear Miku sing.
I'm going to stop at 8 modules, ty so much for this ask though! These kind of questions really give me a chance to write about Miku and dive into imagining Her in all kinds of settings and scenarios!

Things that happened in the Official Transformers RPG's lore 2: Crossover Boogaloo
Since I've got both the crossover and BW books, and even finished them, and also the last post blew up for no reason, it's time for a sequel with some revisions.
Beast Wars book is more-or-less straightforward add-on for beast modes, Dinobots, and the crossover book is also a straightforward module focused on gameplay with the notable exception of the fact that Pretenders are here for some reason. Well, to the points!
Things that are kinda-sorta canon: Earthspark (Nightshade is an extant person), RID15 (Alchemor crash is an event, Simacore is a person), Animated (Sari also exists), ROTF (same with Alice) and Go-Bots (Zod is a Titan).
RPG lore treats Dark Energon and Angolmois as interchangeable, and therefore refers to all Angolmois items from Japanese Beast Wars as Dark Energon. This is odd, as the book later directly references the manga which established quite firmly that Angolmois is a separate thing.
Mindwipe is invited to scientific conferences.
Sky-Byte is a Maximal, or at least formally listed among them.
Thunderhowl is once again Captain America, hates swarming enemies, and he is either speaks to Onyx Prime in his diary, or Leo Prime (Lio Convoy), mentioned in the rulebook before, is a proper formal Prime who leads the Maximals.
No mention is made of Rattrap's Decepticon allegiance from the past books, but he is apparently a spy by speciality.
Botanica is a triffid.
Paddles, the dinobot, uses they/them pronouns. It's unclear if it's deliberate or not.
The notable odd Threat Level: Optimus Primal the average starship captain by himself is 22, which is more than Starscream's 21. Dinobot is 7, basic BW Megatron is 10, Botanica is 12. Abominus is 15, less then the previously the most weak combiner Ruination's 16, making Abominus a very lame combiner. But the crown is taken by basic Quickstrike, with 1. Yes, 1.
Everyone still have languages listed, and Cybertronix exist as apparently another Cybertronian language, but the only people who know it are the Vehicon generals, Silverbolt and Botanica. But this is not the most notable language-related thing, as Waspinator and Terrorsaur both know English for some reason.
Cube, apparently, is one of Cybertron's greatest exports, and there are alien adaptations of the sport around (presumably, for people who cannot become a car at command).
Decepticons are a legitimate monarchy, and the title of Emperor Of Destruction is a genuine title, because Duke Of Destruction is a Genuine Noble Title
It's more of an observable gameplay oddity, but "EMT Crash Course" perk is universal for humans and Cybertronians. It affects specifically organic medicine, Cybertronians are healed by mechanical aptitude, so you can trust (some) giant robots with your first aid kit!
The BW rulebook has a passing preoccupation with alternate realities - and Uprising even gets it's owl blurb - and therefore has a character sheet for a Intelligent Scientist Grimlock, among others.
Maximals tend to choose for their altmode mammals, birds and fish.
And now, the answers to a couple of questions, because I saw the tags, and some corrections.
@nanzyn & @shadowboxmind : Yeah, the threat level sometimes seem completely random (Stunticons look really lowballed). I think I'll write down all the tables together later for this bizarre power scale.
@theropodtheroblogs : No, Jazz is still also the head of Spec Ops. Prowl is a military strategist, and just a guy now, I guess.
@libermachinae : The original wording for the local Prowlastator seem to imply Prowl kind of happened upon Devastator? The exact words are "when needed" and "been able", so jury's out. He is apparently not a part of Devastator anymore at the time Termagax's lecture, which happens at Autobot City after the local analogue of Headmasters saga and may or may not bear relation to the local counterpart of Combiner Wars.
Now, the corrections: points 4 and 9 from the main post aren't exactly true. The who-is-who list features Alpha Trion, and while some people like Bulkhead are specifically are the Ark crewmember, there's also a mention of "Arcee's Resistance", but not what is it or where it's located, so do what you want. And Tracks while isn't strictly speaking a triple-changer, he is randomly mentioned in such a manner it could be inferred so (and this is his only mention in-text). Technically, the same is the case with Botanica's triffidness here - she has apparently interchangeable stats with Flytrap, whose most notable trait is that he's a triffid. I apologize for any confusion caused.

MNOG Improvement Mod Update
Download and more info on the BZPower post. Updated with more fixes, more edits, and more content. And (hopefully) even more on the way.
MNOGIM is my mod of the 2001 auto-saving version of MNOG provided by BioMedia Project. I’ve recreated every compressed jpg, edited eye colors to be consistent, fixed a handful of bugs such as Maku teleporting to Po-Wahi, and added a number of quality-of-life fixes to the gameplay (The Telescope now updates as you play, Maku won’t appear until after you visit Ta-Koro, can’t go to Onu-Koro until a little later, etc). You can even pick from different modules to only install the changes you want. A full list of changes can be viewed here

Rant ahead about a shit teacher who shouldn't be teaching.
.
.
Ah yes, when you tell the teacher why you're unable to complete the assignment on time due to a power outage and he proceeds to tell the class "if I had a nickel for every time a student gave an excuse why the assignment wasn't completed I'd be with Jeff Bezos right now". Tells me he's not directing this at me, then proceeds to say how when he was in school he completed the assignment with a gas lamp and then drove two hours to turn it in in person during a power outage. Told his teacher, when asked, why it was late that he "didn't want to make excuses, but this is why".
Feels pretty fucking personal.
Because I can control mother nature and the storms over the weekend and the flooding for the next few days. Because I can drive halfway across the country to turn in an assignment.
I fucking hate this teacher. He's a POS and kills all creative inspiration. I have been awake over 24 hours and stayed up all night to get what I could done.
"Complete it traditional if you can't do digital."
Why in the absolute fuck would I change an assignment that has been all digital up until this point and make it traditional? How am I supposed to make this new traditional piece when all of my references are on my very dead computer? Power is kinda necessary in order to access the computer.
There are two modules I have been late to completing an assignment and that was at the start of the class. Week 11 just started and this is all a remote class.

Crow plays Gubat Banwa part 3: Together
I originally wanted to write the next post right away, but the reason I haven't is that I actually got to play with other people for a bit. My regular tabletop groups all got cancelled over the holidays, so I spend the days around new years introducing some of them to Gubat Banwa by putting them into the fucked up meatgrinder fight from my last post. Originally I just wanted to explain the rules while we had some more free time then usually, but we had so much fun we've since started the Sword Devil module - which I'm not going to talk about as much on here because it involves other people and spoilers for the intro module.
I was curious how the same battle was going to play out with a normal 1 gm 3 players setup and a different party composition (Murderglave, Heavenspear and Bladeweaver) and they did way better then I did, despite me controlling the enemies normally. The thunderbolts did really matter and the Murderglave in particular did surprisingly well while being outnumbered, but they still got saved by me forgetting about some of the demon mechanics. Also the 1.6 Patch 1 Update happened inbetween the tutorial battle and us starting the Sword Devil game.
We're trying to play the Sword Devil gmless, which is a bit awkward and weird because we're still following the book, so there is some weird suboptimal friction where we are still following a guided scenario, but we're all aware of all the hidden information at all times because we're reading through the book together, but it's been a fun experience regardless. I'm reusing Haraw for the game, and despite her being meant for a different game originally and none of us coordinating our characters at all, rolling for complications for our group led to us coming up with a whole previous adventure our characters went on together.
Similarly, coming up with the battle maps together led to a great feedback loop of "yes and"ing ideas that I don't usually see in tactics games. On the combat side of things, the update cut everyone's POS in half, so we were really surprised by how quickly the fight ended, our Murderglave and my Flower Balyan both got screwed by the fight only lasting for 2 resounds, even after we spend gaba to add more enemies. Because the Murderglave had to spend most of their first riff crossing a river and I couldn't play off my poison spreading and fields as much as I'd like. Weird opposite problem to what the first fight had, but I'm sure we can figure out how to balance the encounters over time.
But that's enough about what I've been up to, let's see how our Kadungganan are doing since I left them. I'll write the following scene in prose, if there's square brackets in the text, that means I did a Divination roll, the format is [Character Skill Result]. I'm leaning into the random elements more then I usually do here since I don't have anyone else to play off of, but I'll keep the mechanics discussion aside from noting the rolls out of the text.
The blood on Dranreb's hands was drying, clumping his fur together in dark, uncomfortable spikes. The river was right there and it would be do easy to wash it off, but the thought of leaving the shadow of the tree and wading into the water or turning his back to the forest made his skin crawl after what they just went through. He looked at the stranger lying before him. He had barely managed to still their bleeding after they had passed out, but they were still unconscious.
The leaves above him rustled as the other stranger shifted their position. They had climbed up into the tree when the demons attacked and had stayed up there since, and didn't respond to any of his questions. When Dranreb introduced himself and asked the stranger for their name in kind, they had stared down at him in silence before answering "You don't need to know.", and that had been the extend of their conversation. Sometimes he could hear whispers coming from the treetop, but he had soon realized that they weren't meant for him, but the stranger's gun. [Nasirakna Observation Even Succcess]
It had gotten dark before he could figure out a way to transport the unconscious Kawayanon, and Dranreb was about to drift off to sleep, when a gunshot woke him right back up, a jarring, violent intrusion between the sounds of the nighttime forest. "What are you doing?", he hissed up the tree. "Another demon.", the stranger simply replied, their voice flat like nothing out of the ordinary happened. Their eyes were fixed on something in the distance that Dranreb couldn't see from the ground. "I scared it off.", they concluded.
"We need to do something about them, we can't just let them run around the forest like this.", Dranreb said out loud, not expecting an answer.
A choked laugh came out of the tree. "And what are you going to do? You saw what happened when we tried to fight them."
"Yes, we won."
"Look at them." They pointed the butt of their weapon at the bleeding Kawayanon. "They're dying, I wouldn't consider that a victory."
"You don't know that.", he said, but still stopped to check their breath. Still stable. "Where do the demons even come from? There's so many of them suddenly."
"I have some ideas.", the witch answered. Dranreb stayed quiet, waiting for them to explain their ideas, but the follow-up never came.
The ensuing silence bothered him, as unpleasant as the conversation was, it at least kept his mind occupied. So he started talking again. "I still need to bring them to safety so they can heal."
"You mean die in peace."
"Stop it!", he yelled this time. "I don't care what you think, I'm not giving up this easily."
They discussed plans for a while. The path to the coast and Alimpulos wasn't that far, but they couldn't swim through the river with an unconscious, bleeding body, and the forest was more dangerous then usually. There was the Virbanwan battalion was camped out somewhere closer, but he wasn't keen on returning there, and the witch seemed even more put off by the idea. The witch scoffed when he suggested following the river to the next crossing downstream, where it fanned out and became flat enough to wade through. "You can leave if saving someone's life bothers you so much."
The witch took a moment to answer. "I'd like to pretend otherwise, but sticking together does make it easier to get to Alimpulos alive." Dranreb didn't notice that he drifted off to sleep until he found himself in bright sunlight, with a gun barrel poking into his side. "Wake up.", the witch said, standing before him. He scrambled to his feet.
[Haraw Toughness Even Failure]
The stranger was still unconscious, but their bandages hadn't bled through, a good sign that there injuries were less bad then they had seemed at night. Now he had to find a way to carry them. "I can't count on your help here, can I?", he asked the witch while lifting the body over his shoulder. "Listen.", the witch answered, "I accept that I can't prevent you from dragging dead weight around, but at least one of us should keep their eyes open and their hands on their weapon."
This was a good point, which made him more frustrated, but the Kawayanon, in their haze, at least managed to meekly grab onto him, and after he tried and failed to grab his spear and shield while holding onto them, the witch wordlessly picked up his gear. As they started walking, they'd occasionally mumble something that he couldn't understand. The Kawayanon was short of stature, but so was Dranreb, which made them difficult to carry, but he quickly found that he hated stopping more. The witch walked ahead of him and occasionally signaled him to stop, climbed into another tree and kept her sight on demons he could only sometimes see as dark spots in the distance. When this happened, he carefully placed the Kawayanon on the ground, picked up his weapon, hid between the undergrowth and listened to his breath, waiting for the witch to open fire. But the gunshot he was anticipating never happened. The demons passed them in the distance, his unpleasant companion climbed back down and they carried on.
The river became wider and wider, until the finally reached the crossing. Dranreb steeled himself for wading through the rushing water, but the witch put a hand on his chest and held him back. "Not so fast, look."
Confused, he looked out across the water, and noticed the spots were the waves broke. "Fish? They are large for river fish..." He furrowed his brows, noticing their rattling teeth and the steam clouding the other shore. "Yawa?", he asked.
The witch nodded. "We can't wait to cross the river much longer, unless you're prepared to spend another night out here."
What Dranreb had mistaken for fish from the distance were the demons, jumping and dancing in the waves. The river boiled where it touched their skin, their shapes obscures by the steam, only their cackling laughter reaching the shore.
