The Thunder-Bringer’s Daughter, Chapter 1
https://archiveofourown.org/works/47067424/chapters/118578922
Hey friends!
Well, I’m finally to the point that I’m ready to post the first chapter of my God of War: Ragnarok novel, The Thunder-Bringer’s Daughter! I’m so excited to be embarking on this journey--it’s so different from the Clan Djarin series, and I’m so ready to stretch my prose muscles in a new direction.
Tomorrow or the day after, I’ll be posting another chapter for The Next Year, so don’t worry--Clan Djarin isn’t going anywhere. (Especially after season 3....I’ve taken it as my solemn duty to fix that shit, lol)
Thanks for reading my stuff, and I’ll see you over on AO3!

Sailing Toward A New Horizon
Once safely away on the Statesman, Thor and Bruce - and their comrades - discuss what comes next.
Fandom: MCU/Marvel
Pairing: Thor Odinson & Bruce Banner
Rating: General
Word Count: 338 words
This is a fill for my @avengersbingo B3 - Road Trip square as well as today’s @flashfictionfridayofficial prompt [#FFF177 Expand Through Horizons]
As they piloted the Statesman away from the fragmented remains Asgard, the past millennia and a half of his existence weighed heavily on Thor’s shoulders. He had visited dozens of worlds, met countless people and had many adventures that expanded his horizons, but he had always known - even in his darkest moments after Odin banished him -- that he had somewhere he could call home. That was no longer true.
“I’m sorry.” Bruce laid a hand on his shoulder and squeezed. “I can’t imagine how difficult that decision was.”
Thor nodded wearily. But after learning what the Asgard he thought he knew had been built on, perhaps starting over was the best option. “As I told my brother, Asgard is a people, not a place.”
“But these people are gonna need a place to live, right?” Bruce noted. “I mean, this ship isn’t designed for long term residence.”
“As always, you are the practical one,” Thor noted with a grimace. He hadn’t had a chance to think of what would come next. “Any suggestions?”
“You know you’re asking the guy who’s only ever been to three planets,” Bruce snorted. “Well, Sakkar has the Grandmaster, so that’s a big ‘no’. How about Earth? I mean, you guys have already visited a few times, right?”
“Earth? Is that where you’re from, then?” Valkyrie sauntered up, with Loki close behind, watching her examine Bruce.
“Yeah, but you probably know it as Midgard.”
“I remember that place,” Valkyrie sniffed. “Cold and snowy. Lots of people wearing furs.”
“It’s not all like that,” Bruce replied a little defensively, making Loki snicker.
“No, it is not,” Thor agreed, his spirits brightening, just a little. “And it seems as good a destination as any. Would you agree, my brother?”
“I can’t imagine I would be welcome,” Loki demurred.
Thor shrugged. “We’ll figure out something. Well, I suppose it’s time to have my first official audience with my people.”
“You might want to,” Bruce gestured at his eye, “you know, do something about that first.”

looking for a fic!
looking for a particular marvel fic/fan-script - I recall it was a kind of community-fan-written fix-it script taking place right after Thor Ragnarok (like literally after the big shadow falls over them at the end of the movie) and that we had a focus on Thor and Loki. There was one super funny scene where loki has an altercation with the Hulk. There was only one season of episodes published at the time of reading, possibly (hopefully) more now, but for the life of me I cannot remember what it was called or where it was posted! I think I read it as a pdf?? Please help me, loki fans

guess what game i've been playing
(script under cut)
1.
I just-
I thought- hoped-
that he'd come around by now.
Mm.
2.
Remind me again, lad. How old are you right now?
…? 14. Going on 15.
See, that's the problem.
3.
When you live as long as gods and dwarves do, your sense of time goes fuzzy.
You could let a dozen winters pass and not notice. It doesn't really matter when you are hundreds of years old.
What are you trying to say, Mimir?
4.
I'm saying, that this is going to take time.
Time on a scale that you can't comprehend at your age.
Oh.
5.
Cheer up, lad. You're a god, after all.
You'll probably even live to see it.
…
…Probably.
