I. General

This blog will be between low to medium activity with dark themes present including war, violence, death, etc.

I will tag as any spoilers as I can, but it is not spoiler free and will act on whatever is revealed in the main story of WUTHERING WAVES + some theories that go on about the overall lore and Rover's identity.

I expect basic RP etiquette and will do the same.

I've been on tumblr rp for a while but am just returning now. I'm behind on the terminology now used so please be patient if I don't get something right away. I will be just doing basic formatting when writing.

I want to just write so I won't be paying attention to drama.

I go by Aki and Mun & Muse are 25+.

II. Writing

Each interaction will be its own and not collide with others unless talked about beforehand with both parties.

I'd like to focus on Wuthering Waves verse itself so I will be following canon first and foremost. I don't mind divergencies as long as its nothing major/world changing.

This blog is multi-ship and ships will be built on chemistry and interactions.

I prefer multi-para but don't mind one-liners and short interactions. I like plotting but also don't mind a thread started from an inbox meme, etc. In general, I'm cool with anything.

Feel free to send any memes no matter how old they are! I'll find them eventually.

I play a lot of gacha/anime games so I'm more than happy to create a verse for crossovers.

III. Following/Tagging

I don't have any real triggers and will tag the usual ones accordingly if I reblog something that falls under it. (Most likely not though)

If I follow then I would like to interact at some point. I will unfollow though if no activity between us occurs but will try and reach out when I feel confidant enough too.

EXPERIENCE: I've been rping online since I had access to a computer but I had a blog on tumblr in 2016 I ran for almost a year and then I came back to making and running blogs more often on tumblr starting with Shadow in 2019.

PREFERRED ROLEPLAY TYPE: Longer running threads are my preference, I hate starting stuff to get like a reply or two into it before dropping it. I usually like starting things by either sending or receiving asks and developing kind of on the fly from there, then plotting as needed / if there's something specific we want to do. I'm pretty flexible with planning as things come up and I can feel stuck if stuff is too rigid with where we want it to go, but sometimes having a general direction helps a lot, as long as we're cool with getting distracted on the way lol.

PET PEEVES & DEALBREAKERS: The aforementioned 2 replies on a post before it's dropped just to continue the plotline in another thread. I don't mind dropping threads, sometimes not every thread is a banger or you lose muse and that's fine. What I do mind is assuming the other thread has been completed and just continuing in a new one. I like plotting but I like to write the plots out, so I don't really like using the assumption of OOC chatter to fill in the blanks if that makes sense, especially with a character like Shadow who is kind of hard to get to know and track how he evolves over time and stuff.

Also, I'm not follow-for-follow, if I follow you I want to see what you're writing and interact, it's not just a placeholder thing I do. I hate radio silence on stuff I'm posting like headcanon posts or when people don't send asks or like calls or do starters when I've liked theirs in the meantime--mainly this is a problem if someone's active pretty often on the dash. Sucks to be giving people likes and stuffs to get nothing in return. I think since coming back to this blog I've been better about just softblocking when this crops up though; it really annoys me and I'm at a point where I prefer writing with smaller amounts of people than I do "putting my muse out there" anyways.

PLOTS OR MEMES: Oops I guess I kind of answered this already but I'm a bit of both. I like to use memes and asks to start threads and then branch out from there as needed. Sometimes a silly ask can create great opportunities for other threads, like when Fer and I wrote a thread where Shadow was talking about his air shoes that's since evolved into a separate thread with them shopping in Metal City. Sheena, Foxbee and I are always chatting about our threads too before it turns into "hey that's a good idea for another one to do sometime." It's been really fun.

LONG REPLIES OR SHORT REPLIES: I inevitably am drawn to longer replies overtime. I think I typically average about 2-5 paras. Sometimes one-liners and crack replies are fun, but they aren't really my thing for serious development and "canon" stuff on the blog. I like being able to bust out a single paragraph in a reply though and hit send. Makes me feel like a master of Succinctness.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: I work from home so honestly I'm on my computer all day M-F so...then. LOL my job is really boring

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES: I think inevitably people put a little of themselves into every muse they write. Just kinda comes with the territory of being a writer. So yes but also no. We have a lot of similarities I think but there's a lot of differences too. I don't really like just writing myself over and over again anyway, it gets boring. But sometimes it can be funny to write something and be like "Wait, I do that!"

[ azure ] is there a specific character or type of character you want to write but never have? why? [ lavender ] if you could change one thing about the rpc as a whole, what would it be? [ fuchsia ] bonus round: angst or fluff? one-liners or paras? plotting or winging it? memes or starter calls? single muse or multimuse?

[azure]: I think there are definitely characters that have come across my radar through media I'm interested in that seem like they would be fun to write. Ultimately, I don't end up writing them either because I don't think I'd do them the justice I want to when writing them. Some characters that come to mind are Tony Stark, The Grandmaster (En Dwi Gast), and Steve Kemp (from Fresh). The interest to write for them also usually tends to dwindle if I already write with that particular character a lot with other writers (I'm looking at my Tony Stark rper's, y'all own my heart)

[lavender]: I think if I could change something about the rpc, it would be mostly nostalgia based. I was writing in the 2010's and there seemed to be a ton of engagement back then with people sending memes and overall, just more interaction. That said, I do think there is something to be said for crafting your own experience and I know that my social engagement battery is a bit less than it was back in the 2010's. While I loved writing and planning many different plots with multiple different blogs, I think it is more sustainable for me now to develop strong writing connections with a handful of other writers and explore and appreciate threads they have with others. Who knows, maybe I might find a new blog through them and gain another writing buddy!

angst or fluff? -> Angst, I'm a shameless angst whore and live for a bit of drama in my threads.

one-liners or paras? -> Paras, I like being able to add detail and progress the story forward with dialogue and more in-depth interaction.

plotting or winging it? -> A lot of the time I will go for plotting over winging it, mostly because I like to build a story and collaborate with my writing partner.

memes or starter calls? -> I think it's safe to say that I often will post rp memes over starter calls. I find that memes are a bit more broadly reaching and often, if I have a specific idea, I usually go to the mun I want to share it with and gush over plot details to them.

single muse or multimuse? -> for aesthetics and ability to separate my writing, I personally use single muse blogs (you can check out my Brock Rumlow on @burnedbxnesrumlow) but I don't mind if my writing partner has a multi-muse blog. Personally, do whatever works best for you and your writing!

WRITING. English isn’t my first language, so grammatical mistakes are bound to happen now and then. Open starters, starter calls, prompts, etc. are limited to mutuals only. I highly encourage the continuation of answered prompts! If you wish to continue from an ask, please tag me in a new post. I write various types of formats such as one-liners, novella, crack, and shorter paras. I let my muse take the wheel, so sometimes I will only respond to asks and threads that my muse allows me to respond to, and there's little I can do about it.

I have an incredibly difficult time figuring out plots on the spot, so if you wish to plot with me I would appreciate if you would have something in mind before approaching me. All I ask is that you have at least a small idea of a concept of something you want to do without being too vague ( i.e "I want to write something dark" ), propose it to me, and we can take it from there.

I reserve the right to not respond to any asks, starters, threads - or publish starters from my own starter calls if inspiration doesn’t come to me.

UNFOLLOWING/BLOCKING. I will unfollow blogs for various reasons. Most of which are related to blogs going inactive without any notice, blogs that haven’t shown any interest/initiated interactions, and blogs that engage in drama of any kind far too much.

I will also soft-block non-mutuals that follows me that I don't see myself interacting with. This is nothing personal against you at all - it's just that I prefer to only have my mutuals follow me. Besides, even if I happen to feel like I can't see myself interacting with the specific blog you followed me from, it still doesn't mean that I won't follow you back if you follow me from another blog of yours that I do see myself interacting with.

As for blocking, I don't use the block button lightly as I prefer to blacklist the urls of blogs I don't wish to see. However, there may still come times when I have the need to use it. When this happens, the reasons may include ( but is not limited to): you're a personal blog interacting with mine in any way, you're continuously using 'passive' methods to 'remind me' about our thread such as liking and re-liking it over and over, over excessive vague-posting, and blogs that continues to re-follow me to get my attention ( especially if I've already softblocked you more than two times ). If something else comes up, I may still use the block button however I see fit.

SHIPPING. My main rule of thumb when it comes to shipping is that I require chemistry between our muses, both canons and OCs. Not only that, but I also don't randomly jump into casual ships with just about anybody either. While chemistry between muses is very important, the chemistry between myself and the other mun is even more so. I'm the most comfortable when I ship with friends, and new people I've come to click with via muse interactions.

I usually put my entire heart and soul into my ships and expect them to last for the long-term. What I mean by this is basically that I don't ship for the sake of shipping, and I don't really enjoy writing ships with people that have the habit of dropping ships as soon as something new and shiny comes around. I understand that muse, motivation and inspiration will come and go, and sometimes you just simply know when a certain ship has finally sailed, but all I ask for really is dedication and communication.

As a last note on shipping: If you feel like our muses have chemistry and would like to explore a potential ship, then by all means feel free to ask me! But keep in mind that I still reserve the right to decline your offer on ( specifically romantic ) shipping if I for one reason or another don't see our muses going down that road.

TRIGGERS. This blog is 21+ and NOT minor friendly; dark themes will be present on occasion, so if you are under the age of 20 and/or are uncomfortable with dark content, do not view and/or interact with this blog AT ALL. I trigger tag the most common stuff ( tagged as ‘tw // tag’ ), and if there is anything else I need to tag feel free to reach out to me respectfully and I will tag it for you.

Personally, I don’t have anything that triggers me except any images that may trigger my trypophobia ( an aversion to the sight of ANY irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps ) ━ PLEASE tag this, I’m begging you.

NSFW. The muse and the mun are both of legal age, and I’m comfortable with writing plot-related erotica with anyone that is over the age of 21 as long as it’s ( romantically ) ship-related. However, ALL smut-related threads must take place in a private chat ( I prefer discord for this since I hate the tumblr dms ). I’m not comfortable with spreading that stuff out on the dash for everybody to see.

However, themes alluring to anything of a sexual nature but not full-on smut ( such as suggestive themes ) may be published/reblogged on this blog in the form of prompt replies, headcanons and the like.

CLOSING NOTES.

I’m diagnosed with Depression, ADD and Autism, and these may effect how I write, how often I write and how much I can bring myself to socialize and speak to other people ( - both off, and ) online, so there will be times when I go very quiet for a while. I’m here to write, make friends, but most importantly, I’m just here to have fun whenever I can. Discord is available for mutuals upon request, but please keep in mind that I can sometimes be quiet over there as well, so I will get back to you when I'm ready to do so. In addition, I tend to have a really hard time picking up on social cues; I won't always be able to know whether or not you are joking with me, or if you are trying to give me hints of some kind. I please ask that when you want to ask me something, you are being as direct as you possibly can. Communication is very important to me, as misunderstandings are the bane of my existence, and I want to avoid it as much as possible. On that note, please know that if I ever leave you on read, it's never with malicious intent; whether it's about RP or not. Sometimes I just need extra time ( anything from a few hours to a couple of days ) to figure out how to properly formulate my words, and I cannot do that if I feel rushed to reply.

[ 2 ] :   ETIQUETTE.  you know the rules.  no godmodding, bigotry, racism, forcing ships, or hate of any kind . just be a decent person i don't do well with drama & i dislike callout culture & i won't be participating in it in any way. of course i want to know who to avoid, but i would prefer these things to be handled & discussed privately & maturely. if any drama occurs or has occurred with someone i know, i am open to discussing it calmly & in private. another thing i won't tolerate is hate for certain ships or characters on this blog. i am here to explore all dynamics.

[ 3 ] :   FOLLOWING.  if i follow you,  it means i want to write with you! . if not, it's likely because i can't see our muses clicking well or that i am unfamiliar with the fandom. i will soft block if you don't make an effort to interact with me ooc or ic for some time. i will block you if you break any of my rules.

[ 4 ] :   TRIGGERS & NSFW. triggers you might find on this blog include: themes of heavy drug use/substance abuse, addiction, SA, suicidal ideation, SW slurs, self harm, child abuse, abusive relationships, guns, depression, and disassociation. i will be tagging triggers as: "trigger cw" & will happily tag anything if asked. my own triggers include: dissociation/depersonalization/derealization, body horror, trypophobia, & eye gore. i'm happy to write nsfw themes so long as we've spoken beforehand! obviously, there will be sexual themes here as well. i will never write it with anyone who is uncomfortable with doing so; i, however, am perfectly fine writing it. sidenote: angel is intersex as well as hypersexual - he is also a gay man; while he does provide his services to and work with women, he does it for that reason only. i will only be shipping angel with non-female muses.

[ 5 ] :   ACTIVITY & FORMATTING.  my activity is typically sporadic no matter the blog. i do have a life outside of rp & my own mental health to look after. sometimes i'm able to write many replies a day, others only one or none at all. patience in regards to replies is much appreciated & expected. my lengths are usually multi para but they can be shorter or longer depending. never be afraid to send random asks, multiple memes, or turn answers into threads! i love collecting a variety of prompts, but i’m privy to deleting them if they’ve been sitting for awhile or if i can’t think of anything good enough, same goes for threads. sometimes i’ll post one-liner starter calls, but you never have to match my length exactly but i do expect something to go off of. i use small, bold, & italic text. you also do not have to match my formatting & i implore you to tell me if you need it changed for accessibility purposes. my eyesight is not the best, so i ask you to please avoid screenshot-ed replies or using too much fancy text.

[ 6 ] :   SHIPPING. i love shipping with all my heart, exploring dynamics no matter what they may entail is my favorite thing, and i implore you to come to me if you'd like to explore a dynamic of any kind with our muses! note that angel as a whole is very flirtatious. this does not always mean he is interested. angel is also an adult film star, this does not mean he is interested should your muses sleep together. while i am willing to explore toxic dynamics, i will never, ever write acts of SA. lastly, i only ship angel with husk at this time. that being said, if you write husk i will never assume you want to ship with me, personally. if you write valentino, i am open to exploring pre-canon val.angel as well as au's with the two.
