This is going to be a very controversial take. To everyone saying they would prefer for the drivers to speak up about sexual harassment - while I agree in general it would be good for anyone to speak up about it, in this particular situation I don't expect them to, and I don't think any of the drivers are in the wrong for not speaking up about it.

If this was a clear and cut SA case, then yes, I would expect them to speak out about it more.

However, firstly, there has been no clear resolution yet and we can see this SA case has been turned into a power struggle at RBR. Any of the drivers speaking out to defend the accuser are therefore implying that Horner is guilty of SA will show as them taking a stance on the issue and being on Helmut and Jos' side of wanting Horner out. You may say 'oh they're not commenting on RBR, they're not taking Helmut/Jos' side, they're just defending the victim'

Like it or not, the victim, though she had to go through an awful situation, is being used as a pawn in this power struggle. No one can speak about purely the harassment allegations without indirectly implying their stance in the other stuff happening at RBR.

Is it terrible for the victim? Abso-fucking-lutely. But unfortunately they have militarized this situation.

So no, I don't expect the other drivers to say anything. I would be shocked if anyone did. If anyone did say anything, their words would be twisted.

I am not defending those who are saying it is 'just noise'. But any 'no comment' response or changing the subject or avoiding answering - I don't blame them for doing that and I think that's valid.

no one is demanding the drivers open themselves up to lawsuits and start making accusations, but it’s really not that hard to say “i cannot legally comment on an internal investigation, but i support transparency, fairness, and workplace safety for everyone in f1.”

It seems that Britbox is losing Doctor Who outside the UK. With it now nearly certain that Disney+ will be snatching up the Who back catalog – not just future releases, as has been officially confirmed – it’s time to start thinking about how they’ll be splitting up NuWho into separate tiles! After all, surely Disney doesn’t want viewers to think they have to watch all of it before starting the Tennant specials and Gatwa series.

Ways they might do this, ranked from least to most cursed:

They restart the numbering so Gatwa’s first series is 1. “NuNuWho”?

One tile per Doctor, so series 5 is rebranded as “The Eleventh Doctor: Series 1”. This would extend nicely to Classic Who as well, but it’s a bit misleading, since starting with the Tenth or Twelfth Doctors wouldn’t make any sense.

One tile per showrunner era: RTD 1.0, Moffat, Chibnall, and RTD 2.0. Given that handovers have coincided with soft reboots in the past, this would make perfect sense; my main worry would be what names they’d come up with for each era…

One tile per showrunner, so RTD 1.0 and 2.0 go on a single tile. Viewers are encouraged to go straight from The End of Time to the 2023 specials. (If this happens, expect the first Fourteenth Doctor special to begin with a Twice Upon a Time-style long-range “Previously on…” flashback to series 4 (this might happen anyway tbh).)

One tile for series 1–4 and 14+ called “Doctor Who”, and one tile for series 5–13 called “Doctor Who: Legends”.

throwback to when I was in elementary- I think 4th grade- and at Halloween, I was in my standard princess getup and there was this really pretty fellow dressed as the phantom of the opera- my favorite musical. I went to say hi and shake his hand, and he brought it close and kissed the back of my hand with a wink.

It was then I realised the power of a loli/shota/kodo. I remember trying to flirt with more adults after that, but I'll always remember that first guy, even though I'm an adult now

although i think if that happened to me i would have been crazy over it n probably went overboard,, i was a surprisingly not a very forward kid bc i knew i was like a dog w a bone when it came to anything i wanted. flirting turned to "dating" and feeling each other up right quick, anger turned to bridge burning and actual burning and destruction,, etc. If someone made the dire mistake of imbuing me with any sort of want it would be their problem 😭😂. give me a slice and i will make it my sole mission to have the whole cake. I've learned well to control the impulses involved but I still have the ambition to eat the world.

(also i feel like people do that stuff for the sole purpose of flattering the subject. in a lot of cultures its pretty regular that if someones dressed like a princess you act like shes a princess,, i should've dressed like royalty more.) From the very beginning Paul took on a particular conciliatory role in the group, one he was almost forced into, explaining away rudeness and bad behaviour, trying to get everyone to like them. I originally had just the last paragraph, because Paul's ... defensiveness about his ambition and perceived role is interesting, but then decided the context of how he felt about defending John and George's behavior was part of that.

Not Physically! And not seen at a party with her! If you look a the pr removed timeline (multiple breakup/falling apart songs recorded for and then cut from/bonus tracked for midnights esp YLM hits different and dear reader, the lover house packed up/burning imagery in the visuals that likely took at least over a month if not more time to create considering the complexity of the tour, the end of the Lavender Haze and Bejeweled MVs implying a breakup as well as the Karma vid that was likely filmed pre-tour around jan-feb which includes a visual reference to the breakup, the fact songs from TTPD was being worked on before midnights was even released) It's far more likely they broke up at an unconfirmed time likely before or around the release of Midnights, possibly earlier considering how private they were as a couple.

I also want to note that if this is the case, i am not at all begrudging taylor for this. I fully think that keeping the breakup under wraps until the eras tour was about a month in progress, allowing for the tour (and midnights as an album) to stand separate from personal strife or potential PR drama, as well as giving her time to grieve and at least start to recover. I'm not always a fan of her PR and her death grip on the narrative but in this case it was necessary for her to not just for her sanity's sake but also for her art and her career. PR work and creating relationship narratives is just another part of her job and her art, it doesnt make her "fake" or anything it just makes her an image conscious celebrity which she has always been.

Unless Taylor or some reliable source close to the situation releases a tell all with exact names and dates, we'll likely never know, but I think its important to take Taylor at her word that she is artistically a narrative builder and professionally a shrewd marketer, and that her public persona and its story is as much apart of that as her writing and songs.
