finally tried out the no line art rendering on top method, (thank you so much kumi for helping me along the way mwa) definitely helped me control my shading better but also 1. i automatically went full painting mode and completely forgot about solid shading so if i do keep this i need to work on that 2. it could be because rantaro is so small in here it's harder for me to work with, i probably should try it on a more character focused piece, anyways i love drawing skies (inspo from blue_t_photo on insta their photos are gorgeous) rantaro's name is so cool (that is an orange orchid in his hand it's just not obvious because orchids don't work as a single flower that you can hold)
