Skippy: as Meghan is finding out, bring attention to something and sometimes you'll regret that decision. A LOT of Twitter talk by real accounts (not bots) from African-American and mixed viewers of the Netflix show: very disappointed that Meghan has had zero AA friends. (They don't count Serena or Tyler Perry as "she only met them in recent years in the celebrity sphere.") Many are actually blaming Doria for not encouraging Meghan to spend time with AA relatives or community. #PRfail

UPDATED: Sun and Fun on the Airport Run

Mugs is working really hard to make us think she’s in Vancouver. According to this story, Mugs drove to the Victoria International Airport on 16 January (while Harry was making his first post-Mugs appearance back in the UK) to pick up her Pilates buddy Heather Dorak (a pre-Harry pal, of course). Paps just happened to be there, catching a couple dozen pics and a short video of Mugs behind the wheel of a black Land Rover, either checking her phone or taking a couple of micro-naps while parked (my money’s on the latter). 

PAP PICS: FUN IN THE SUN WITH HEATHER

The pap shots show a sunny day with a bit of melting snow on the ground, and plenty of greenery. It’s not too cold, because Heather didn’t bother with gloves, scarf, or hat: 

Below: sunshine reflecting the car onto the wet pavement, but no visible snow, even though this area had just been pummeled by a massive storm the day prior (see below). There’s even a sliver of clear blue sky behind the terminal:

Bright sun reflects off the car’s fender, and Heather’s face is partly shadowed because the sun is shining. And hey, there’s loads of green foliage right behind the car! 

Call me crazy, but I thought plants lost their leaves in the winter?

Be Transparent

The original plan was to hold Fyre Festival on an island previously owned by Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. However, the organisers were only permitted to use it if they agreed not to mention the Escobar connection. They did, so they were booted off the island – but they did not tell ticket holders. This is one of the reasons there was no coming back from the PR disaster of its failure. Customers can forgive a lot if they are kept in the loop, but pull the wool over their eyes and you lose all trust.

There was one thing Andrew Morton said in his appearance on Wendy Williams' show, about Meghans father not being invited. Morton said he'd personally advise Meghan to not freeze him out, because it might just end up that he does come (uninvited) and stands among the crowds. And that would look really, really, really bad. Can you imagine? The father who gave her everything money could buy, his love & time... is left high & dry to stand out in the cold among the rest of the uninvited plebs. PRfail

That’s her main problem with the dad. She praised him to the skies for years and her essays are all about how he told her to “check her own box” and created a doll family for her and crap. It’s going to be pretty interesting if it turns out she hasn’t spoken to him in twenty years either.

Why did Karon Maskill let it leak that she and Sir Cliff Richard were an item only to later retract that story? Because what I was told about her MO is true. Turns out Cliff wasn't just closeted but was also a known predator: "Cliff Richard abused children at the Elm Guest House and elsewhere, it has been reported. Sir Cliff once owned a company called Blacknight Limited, an unusual moniker with distinctly occult connotations. Blacknight was registered to an address in Tavistock Square. In another extraordinary coincidence, Cliff Richard's lawyer, Gideon Benaim, has his office in Tavistock Square. Benaim previously represented the notorious convicted paedophile, Roman Polanski." In other words? She had Cliff by the bollocks, so more than trying to beard for her client it was about profiting off of his situation herself. Now I wonder if her unethical behavior prompted Borkowski PR to let her go. The hush money that she shook out of Cliff and other clients allowed her to set up her own agency...
