This pieces is one of my favourite and was created at an EPIC Paint Jam.… I was spraying at Stockwell Hall of Fame. The sun was out. Everyone was in a good mood. Epicjam were hitting the tune with break dancing & MC’ing. Life was good. In drug manufacturing, 3D printing has the potential to improve product development by allowing for rapid small volume production of drugs that can be used in Phase I trials. This is particularly important as traditional tableting processes are expensive on a per-dose basis and require significant capacity to meet market demand.

3D printed pharmaceuticals also have the benefit of being able to include the API in the binding fluid, which can reduce waste associated with conventional tableting. For example, with powder-binding printing of tablets, any API that is not "printed" into the binding fluid is usually recycled or discarded, which can be a significant cost factor for low dose pharmaceuticals. With an API-incorporated binding fluid, this waste is obviated as the API can be printed directly into the tablet.
