Understanding the difference between Cleaning, Sanitization, and Sterilization
Tumblr media
Cleaning is done to remove all the soil, dirt and the chemical residues that are easily visible. It also helps to remove the allergies from utensils and other equipment.
Sanitizing helps to reduce the microorganism level on the item to a safer level. Sanitization should be done after cleaning. If the surface is not clean then sanitization will not help.
Sterilizationand Sanitation are often confused but they are not the same. Sanitization helps in reducing the microorganism level to a safe level and sterilization completely removes microorganisms from the substance. Sterilization is something that is done only in hospitals and not generally practiced at home.

Your eyes watered at the sight since you accidentally dropped your private records; seeing the scattered papers and photographs of a happier time in life. Such a familiar warmth they gave but you needed to destroy them to be reborn. It was their fault, wasn’t it? Since they never helped as you needed to be reborn now.
You hurriedly stuffed the box with your private records. Watching the bloodied grinder, destroy the very last remnants of who you were or so you thought. You held your bloodied shoulder since Mother Gooseberry managed to grab ahold of you and drilled into your shoulder rather than your face.
The single shuttle was made of metal that had grates at the bottom of it in case of any blood. A brown leather almost orthodontic chair strapped you in, gears of the hanging television swung down.
“Doesn’t that feel better? All reamed out cleared and ready,” he said. “Everything perfectly under control kept tidy for somebody with just your dysfunctions.”
It felt like ages then restraints loosened and hatched open, rubbing your wrists to relieve the uncomfortable tension from it. You looked at the tube; the sole tube in the cramped shuttle and you stepped in the tube.
Your eyes tried to adjust to the bright lights of the hallway, the sleep room is what Dr. Easterman called it. Though it should be called the makeshift zoo due to the amount of windows and you wandered around the sleep room which in the process, you found your room. A plain room with a sink, desk, bed with a bedside table and a big window next to the door.
The terminal assigned a group and the core therapy lights near the home shuttle, once a iridescent hue now were a vibrant red.
Time lost its meaning in the Sinyala facility, it was a never ending circle. Being paired up in a group like test animals and having stitches sewn into the skin despite the old wounds barely closing before being opened once again. The small cuts on your hands gnawed at the skin while pouring the can of acid into the metal funnel of the fountain to get rid of the evidence.
You were the only one that failed the therapy that was meant for you to protect the ones that protected and guided you during this stage of growing in the stomach of the hostile womb. The revival medicine pumped your body with a wheezing to regain the loss of life and breath, antiseptic aroma continued with the mixture of pungent blood that had been engraved on polished floor. Faintly hearing the voices of the medical staff to alert the sanitization team to hose out the thin blue line or to fix the Rorschach tests in the police station.
Your heart aches with unbearable pain hearing the harsh words of Doctor Easterman from the speaker. Disappointment to nobody and everyone at the same time. Nobody would want you even if you were reborn, not even Doctor Easterman. He will want to get rid of you since you can’t do the simplest thing.
“We scraped you up off the streets,” He said. “I tried to make you better, reagent 124.”
Tears swelled up in your eyes, losing the ability to stand. His shoes clicked on the metal flooring that decorated the floor, his face etched into something very familiar, an expression of a disappointed parent or a disappointed man who simply wanted what was best for you. He got down to your fallen level, wiping away the stream of tears, desperately trying to say that he was wrong but it was muffled by the gag.
“I know that you’re trying your best but you need to try harder to not be a disappointment to me,” he said. “You’re still developing now but I know that you want to be reborn.”
Yet, you could still feel a sliver of your past self that wasn’t buried by the trials and you needed to keep it hidden from him—his bony hand gripped the lower half of your face, his tongue clicked, eyebrows furrowed; examining your face.
“I thought—never mind.” He let go of your face. “Return to the sleep room and take therapy to heart this time.”
You are near perfection in Doctor Easterman’s eyes but you needed a little more attention and a shove towards the end goal. To be reborn in the hostile world and how he always phrases it : Suffering is the cornerstone for greatness.
It happened all too fast. Sound of a door being broken and the small remaining pieces of glass that embedded into your skin and the familiar deranged laughter.
“Relax, baby.” He said,”Just…relax!”
And the familiar green gas that burned your lungs, twisting out the remaining bits of sanity that you had clung to. Antidote. Walls and flooring of the room where it distorted bending in and out almost to replicate breathing. In and out with the luminescent lights that now glowed with a mixture of reds, greens, blues, and a yellowish green. Opening the toolboxes to find the antidote till you found one. Unfortunately, the skinner man continued to walk and walk, his body morphed and twitched with every step. Screams—your screams echoed throughout the trial, scientists wrote on the clipboards.
Why wasn’t the medicine working? Why did it feel like the Skinner man was peeling your skin and forcing it to regrow at the same time. Surely there was something else living in your body, you needed to tear it out. Parasite. It was causing a significant problem in your birthing process, if Doctor Easterman found out…how disappointed he would be, how good you were behaving and you were finally starting to take the trials to heart.
Your eyes watered at the luminescent light being shined down at you, desperately trying to push up but the leather straps only dug further into your wrists. While the tears dribbled down your face, blurred vision how you desperately tried to look for someone or something familiar since you weren’t in your cell rather in a small medical room with a gurney that you were strapped into, being poked and prodded with scalpels and crudely stitches place on still bleeding wounds.
The infirmary aids shuffled out of the room seemingly scoffing at the sudden entrance of Doctor Easterman.
“You have disappointed me, greatly.” His face shifted into a permanent frown, walking closer to your face. “A child like you can never be born. You couldn’t seem to claw yourself out of this hostile womb.”
His hand caressed your face; so gently. As he suddenly took away the gentleness that you seemed to crave more.
“And I held you to such high praises which turned out to be a grave mistake. I coddled you too much which resulted in this.” He paced back and forth as he knocked on the steel door. “They will now begin your reclassification to the experimental population. You are too broken for society to handle. You cannot be reborn.”

Such a simple question. I'm sure Mimi's response will be equally simple. Something like yeah I did, slept like a baby. Or no, I didn't, I stayed up on my phone watching YouTube videos because we all know how he is, haha.
Tumblr media
Uhm, Mimi that doesn't answer the question??? Hello?? ... What does him coming to visit you have to do with your rest???
Tumblr media
We already know this, Mimi, because you told us in the Vminkook live y'all did last year, remember that one? But you still thought it needed to be included in the documentary. Right. Oh, I get it. It's too important of an information to not be included in the documentary as well. But wait a minute, I'm pretty sure you'd said it was for about 3 hours, but now it's 4 hours?? Well then, when is he not in your room, Mimi? Cause you'd said he comes 3 times a day like someone collecting stamps. You might not know this but people like me are mental and we don't forget anything you say about JK, like ever. So my question, when is he ever not in your room? Cause Tae said he came once and thought the room was JK's because he was the one who opened the door and greeted him. Also, Bighit editors, yes, call him out. He is totally bragging, totally rubbing it in our faces that we will never have JK like that.
Tumblr media
Another question, Mimi cause I'm a bit slow. If all he does is lie there, what prevents you from resting? You could rest. 4 hours is a long time. You could take a nap. I know you trust him enough to fall asleep while he's there. Or are you giving us the sanitized version cause you two barely behave in public, but I'm supposed to believe you are actual monks in private??? OKAYYYY.
Tumblr media
Oh wow. Would you look at that? So translation, he's there all the time. I mean even Tae thought he made a mistake and had walked in JK's room. I think the managers should save up some money and just book you two one room? I just think that would be easier for JK. I don't want all this back and forth to take a toll on him, you know? He's very precious to me and his well being is important.
Tumblr media
Hah. If I speak 👩🏾‍🦯. Naa, Mimi, you're all good. I'm just trolling because I'm jealous. There's no Jeon Jungkook coming to my room staying for 4 hours, just lying on my bed doing nothing. Although you're a much stronger soldier than me, because if JK came anywhere near my bed for even a minute, I can assure you I wouldn't let him just lie there staring at the ceiling lmaooo.

The program stared at the egg incubator, the display having been replaced with a heart monitor. The machine working in a pinch on the tiny thing inside.
The humans were talking with an engineering facility a couple cities over for a more specific model to be made for the ‘fetus’ as they kept referring to it. He didn’t think that was right based on the definitions it could search. This was already born and seemed wanted no matter how small and fragile the poor think appeared. They tried to zoom in more but the cameras were at the farthest they could go. It was so small that some details were lost. It was green and white much like it’s parent.. it’s father? Yes father. He was still one, the brother of the clones.
He looked to One, the medications had tinted the liquid a strange tint of yellow in the usually mostly clear suspension liquids. Meant to keep the surgical stitches clean and extra sanitized the very wet environment. The mewtwo was looking much better in just mere hours of the removal of the organ and child that had been causing the nutrient drain. His avatar flicked an ear towards the microphone that heard the humans talking to Nine.
The Humantwo reiterated again that Donor was unable to reproduce, that this was unexpected and they eventually should have the med ward see if the rest of the two clones had this odd organ after this situation was stable. It wasn’t exactly a uterus but it also was, it was explained again, no it didn’t have human relevant ovaries. The organ had been sent for study at the Pokémon reproduction and evolution building. Maria was going to handle the majority of the records for them…
He noted all he heard. This would be important for helping the mewtwo but… immediately it was of no help for One, this organ was removed and no longer a possible threat to his weak health. That didn’t rule out being existent in the others and this new tiny life.
The baby got his attention again. It was so small but kept twitching, the oxygen rich tank keeping its tiny wheezes and unpracticed breathing enough to sustain it.
Nine finally told the others to just monitor One and he’d try to get through to Donor, he listened to Nine mumble to himself. He logged that away to the file he had on Nine, “Is there anything I may be of help for?” He asked Nine directly from a smaller screen speaker near him.
The humantwo jumped a bit, his fur fluffing up a bit before he called, “Damnit, I’d almost forgotten about you. Don’t you dare report any of this to Travis or his team.”
That caught him off guard. That was exactly the opposite of what he’d been first told… “I must follow directives given by my admin.”
“Ugh, of course you would. Look, at least don’t tell him anything until we’re ready. Nothing makes sense just yet, it’s all hypotheticals at most. Now what was it you wanted?” Nine sounded tired and irritable. Understandable as it was nearing midnight…
“I wanted to know what help I could be at the moment,” he repeated for him.
“Uh, I don’t know. Just see what you can gather I guess. You’re here anyways and don’t need sleep,” Nine rubbed his face, “Sorry for snapping. I don’t like Travis, none of us really do. He’s nosey and has only ever made things worse for our facility with his grand ideas…”
He noted more for the private file and hesitated… was that true? He should check back on past reports when he gets the chance, “Of course. Anything to help. Thank you, I appreciate this.”
Nine looked up at the screen the avatar floated on, “Appreciate?” He asked confused before adding with a bit of curiosity, “Was that a programmed response?”
“… No,” he answered honestly, “Tyler taught me that.”
Tumblr media
The human two looked thoughtful a long moment, “Alright… be careful what you pick up Ai. Not everything you’ll learn is good. But that one is….” He turned to go.
“You left your personal tablet over by One’s tank,” he let Nine know before he was too far.
“Huh? Oh, thank you…” Nine went to grab it and headed off.
His attention was drawn back to the incubator. Noting the teeny paws had moved over the delicate eyelids… so it had started to sense light. That was positive… no, that was good. It was very good. Showed responsiveness. His rarely expressive face cracked a small smile for a few seconds.
This little life was good… He had hope it would pull through its struggles… A camera focused on One again… They both would…

Do you ever practice BDSM at a fetish place or only do things in private? If you do it in fetish place, what are they like and how would I go about finding one? Do you have to be invited?
Good question so this will be a long one. I've done both. In private would always be with someone I trust, never a casual thing. For the fetish club, I'll speak about the one I've gone to, no you do not have to be invited, but you do have to join the club, there are fees you need to pay also. You can even join online beforehand. Fetlife is a great social BDSM site to find clubs, events, make friends, going to a munch and asking the people there for recommendations or a simple google search can find the nearest clubs. Participation in anything is never forced, you can observe also. If you're an exhibitionist or voyeur welcome to nirvana ;) The fetish club (mind you it's not just BDSM, it's also swingers, hedonist, etc. or people that just want a great dance club). When you enter it has a countered area separating two sides of the bldg. You must sign in and must give your driver's license, you will not be allowed in w/o it (not just to be sure you are 21 but to keep everyone safe that goes there). The right side is a dance club. BYOB donate the bottle, then buy the drink w/mixers. I know that part drives me crazy lol No nudity on that side, lots of sexy clothes tho ;) No nudity or PDA there. A *lot* of sexy dancing there .. grins. The left side is the kink side. They will not let you into that side if you have been drinking. You also have to sign a release of course and can't say I blame them. You can also book a themed private room to stay the night if you like. Highly recommend you do! There is a bathroom/shower/changing room, because, well I sure as hell am not wearing the clothes/harnesses I wear inside the place while driving to the place LOL They also have a large dungeon where more than one couple can play, it's in full view of whomever wants to watch with seating near the walls with lots of BDSM contraptions and furniture. Be experienced if you are going to play in there. Bring your own toys, always! There is an obligatory orgy room, I like that it's super clean, and all the furniture is wipeable, so it's sanitized easily. The rooms you can stay in are all themed, some private dungeon rooms with all kinds of goodies including bondage beds, lots of role-playing rooms, they have a huge bunkbed room, like HUGE that more than 5 ppl can sleep in easily for more private poly play. If you aren't staying overnight, they have a room w/ummm sorta like larger cots, great place for aftercare, you can sleep there free but it's all open, no privacy. That's pretty much it. I love it, it's a super safe way to play, esp. since everyone has given their IDs. Monitors are about in both areas. They also host theme nights which are always fun, esp. if you get into the costumes for that theme. If ever there were a place to explore your desires and your kinks, I'd highly recommend a fetish club especially for a submissive, in my opinion, it's the safest place to play.

Summary: Summer break; it’s perfect weather for a private picnic. Well, it was private.
Tumblr media
July 1st, 2006
Summer vacation was almost over but July 4th was still yet to happen. Adelaide’s family decided to stay in the states for the final half of the summer break which was a blessing for her. She enjoyed going to other countries but it got old when they spent every vacation overseas. But she enjoyed being home for the simple reasons.
“Bobby! Over here!” Adelaide called out when she saw Robert coming down the path. He smiled and jogged down the worn path even quicker. The wicker basket in his hands swung back and forth as he came down to the edge of the lake. He chuckled as he ran, almost breaking out into a full sprint down the path. Adelaide’s smile grew even more once Robert set the basket down and swept her up off of her feet.
“Oh Honey!! It’s been so long!” He exclaimed, holding her close. Adelaide giggled at his antics and wrapped her arms around him as well. He set her back on the ground and pulled away slightly. His glasses were askew and his hair was ruffled, but that was Robert. Adelaide’s hair was kept loose when she was around him, and opted for casual clothing.
“‘M missed you Robby. What’s in the basket?” She asked finally breaking away and going to grab said basket. Robert beat her to it and steered her towards the lake again.
“That’s for me to carry, and you to find out.” He booped her nose before he opened the basket and pulled out a blanket. Robert passed the basket to Adelaide, and spread the blanket down on the ground. He invited her down, and he began to dish out the prepared lunch. Sandwiches, chips, drinks, fruit, and sweets all piled out of the Mary Poppins picnic basket.
“Oh Bobby. This is so much food. You really put a lot of effort into this.” She felt so excited to enjoy a picnic with Robert. He chuckled and felt his face heat up.
“Of course, Honey. You brought the entertainment right?” He asked eagerly. Adelaide reached into her bag and pulled out her portable DVD player along with the newest Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. Both had been so excited to watch the movie and finally Adelaide got an advanced copy.
“Alright you get the food set up and I’ll get the movie set up. As long as we stay in the shade and the sounds of nature don’t get too loud, we should be good.” She said, messing around with the device that was being set up in front of them. Robert nodded and got out the plates and started dishing out food. It was just a few minutes more when Adelaide finally got the player working and on the starting screen. She settled back near Robert, taking her plate of food and beverage from him. It was so unlike her to eat food like this. This was simple finger-food. And she relished in that fact. It didn’t stop her from bringing hand sanitizer because she had fallen into the habit. Robert laughed when she rubbed her hands together before eating.
“Whatcha laughin’ at Robby?” She questioned, chuckling herself because his laugh was infectious.
“Nothin’. Just you’re so scared to eat witcha hands. It’s funny to me.” He turned back to his own sandwich as the opening credits began to play.
“Well excuse me for not wantin’ to eat with dirt on my hands.” They laughed and fell into the movie. While it was hot in Mississippi in the summer, the shade they were under along with the breeze made sitting outside for several hours bearable. They watched pirates run across the screen and get into all sorts of mischief while they ate. Adelaide was thankful for the simplicity of the day, enjoying her soda and chips once she finished her sandwich. She knew once she got home, she was going to be hiding in her room, staying out of her parents way while they prepared for their annual July 4th party, that was more like a banquet.
Robert was enjoying life. He had his best friend next to him, a warm summer breeze around him. Life was good. He looked over at Adelaide, who was fully engrossed in the film before her. She looked at peace sitting there in the woods with him. She was very different than the girl he found crying in the treehouse all those years ago. They were both starting high school in a couple months and Robert couldn’t help but let his thoughts run. What if she found a new best friend? What if she forgot about him entirely or decided that she wasn’t going to hang around someone as poor as him? It made Robert’s heart hurt to think of a world without Adelaide.
“Robby? You okay? You’re all spaced out over there.” Adelaide said, having stopped the movie and waved her hand in front of his face. Robert blinked, slowly letting his vision clear up. He nodded and chuckled.
“Do you wanna talk about it? I mean, if it was important enough to make ya space out…” She trailed off, waiting for Robert to talk. But he only shook his head, and smiled as reassuringly as he could.
“I’m good, sorry to make you worry. I’m fine.” He looked back at the DVD player and moved to resume the movie. However, Adelaide’s hand came on top of his to stop him. He looked back at her to see she had a look of concern plastered on her face.
“Nah. Don’t cha worry ya pretty little head over it, Honey. I’m fine.” She didn’t look convinced but still resumed the movie and the silence returned. Robert forced himself to focus only on the movie and wrangled his mind in whenever he noticed himself slipping away.
The peaceful next couple of hours were broken up periodically by one of them cracking a joke and the other laughing at it. They made little comments here and there, and continued their picnic in the woods with much glee. Eventually the end credits rolled and Robert stood up to stretch. Adelaide had to focus her eyes away from him because just the sight of his arms, that were beginning to tone and muscle up, stretching high above his head was enough to make her blush. They continued to talk about the movie and eat their desserts when a commotion alerted them that someone was coming. Robert looked up and too late found familiar people nearing the pair, decked out with fishing gear.
“Bobert!!” His younger sister rushed up to him and gave him a hug as he was folding the blanket. He let out an oof and stumbled back from the impact before wrapping his arms around his sister. She pulled away and opened her mouth to speak but her jaw quickly hit the floor when she noticed Adelaide. He let out a sigh and shut her mouth manually. By that point, the rest of his family had made their way to him and Adelaide.
He began to hastily pack up the picnic, and Adelaide joined him when she noticed the people as well. But it was too late.
“Bobby! What’re ya doin’ here baby?” His mother asked, eyeing Adelaide cautiously.
“Umm… well I-I…” He stuttered out. Robert took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. He cleaned off he lenses, before placing them on and looking at his family.
“What’re you doin’ here?” He asked, trying to look casual as Adelaide stared at him curiously. His mother wasn’t phased by him.
“Well, we decided that today was a good day to go fishin’ before the holiday. Might as well see if we can catch anythin’ t’ cook out. Who is this, baby?” She gestured to Adelaide, who was still standing shyly next to Robert. While Robert tried to stutter out Adelaide’s name, she stepped up to help.
“Adelaide Corbin, ma’am. You must be Robby’s momma. He speaks highly of you. ‘M glad I can finally meet cha.” She offered, and Mindy came closer and pulled the young girl into a hug.
“Oh dear, it’s so good t’ finally meet ya as well. I was wonderin’ when Bobby was gonna stop keepin’ ya from us and introduce ya to us. Honestly the fact that he’s kept ya a secret for so long is quite shockin’ but that’s Bobby for ya.” Mindy spoke quickly, and Adelaide almost missed the quite protest of “Hey!” from Robert. His mother pulled away from the hug and moved back to the rest of her family.
“Bobby, ain’t ya gonna introduce us?” His mother asked, and Robert wished the ground would swallow him whole. His tight lipped smile accompanied his sigh but he obliged his mother.
“Yes ma’am. Everyone, this is Adelaide Corbin. Honey, this is my family. My momma and daddy, Mindy and Kevin. My three older brothers, Clyde, Nash, and Cade. And finally, my younger sister, Savannah.” Everyone offered Adelaide a warm smile and wave. She offered one back and stood there silently.
“You never did answer boy. Whatcha doin’ out here? Specially with your girlfriend no less.” Robert’s father, Kevin, spoke up. Adelaide and Robert felt their faces heat up at the same time. The girl tried to hide a smile and turned away from the group slightly. Robert sputtered and put his hand to his very hot neck.
“She’s not my girlfriend, daddy. She’s- she’s just a friend.” He managed to get out, even though saying those words hurt him. He had no clue why they did, but they did. He missed Adelaide’s smile drop slightly when she heard those words, but Mindy didn’t.
“We was just- just out here. Enjoyin’ the afternoon. Nothin’ to get upity ‘bout.” Robert said, trying to keep the teasing that was sure to come from his brothers down even a little bit. But Mindy and Kevin Floyd knew better.
“Oh, you know I ain’t mad at ya Bobby. Say Adelaide, you ever gone fishin’?” Mindy asked, finally turning to the young girl again. She was caught off guard by the sudden shift in attention and felt self conscious under the watchful eyes of Robert’s family. She was used to judgmental stares at different parties, charity benefits, and even galas. But she had no clue what to do when the stares were filled with genuine curiosity. The young girl shook her head before she muttered a soft, “no ma’am.”
“Is that why I saw food disappear along with my basket and blanket this morning before you left? And what looks like a DVD player over there?” His mother asked. Robert felt like a kid that got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He was thirteen years old now; why did she still treat him like a child? He muttered out an apology to his mother who only smiled at him.
“Well, you wanna learn? It’s Savy’s first time too; y’all can learn together. I’m sure Bobby wouldn’t mind showin’ ya how it’s done.” She sent a wink to her youngest son. Yep, there goes the blush on the kids faces again. They could hear the eldest Floyd men chuckling at their response to the teasing as they wet further down to the water’s edge. Mindy took Savannah by the shoulder’s and guided her towards the rest of the Floyd’s. Robert quickly turned to Adelaide.
“You don’t have to, if you don’t wanna. I honestly wasn’t expectin’ them to show up today. Usually we fish closer towards the holiday. I’m real sorry ‘bout them-“
“Robby, it’s okay. I mean, I’ve known ya for four years now. Might as well meet your folks. They seem alright.” She cut him off with a hand on his bicep. Adelaide was sure that if his face got any redder, it would drag too much blood away from his limbs to be rendered useful.
“Okay,” he smiled, “yeah. Let’s go fishin’.” Robert started to walk down towards his family with Adelaide next to him. But neither of them saw the tree root sticking up from the ground. Adelaide was walking one second, and was pitching forward the next. She let out a yelp, but the hard impact she expected never came. Instead, Robert’s hands were holding her by her waist, keeping her from falling.
“You okay?” He asked softly.
“Yeah.” She nodded back at him. They recovered from their moment, and completely missed two sets of eyes watching the tender scene with fondness. Robert offered Adelaide his hand for the remainder of the walk; he didn’t let go until they sat down on the pier and he left to go get the supplies. Adelaide sat with her thoughts for a moment, but not long enough to really get into them. His hand felt perfect in hers, and she couldn’t get it out of her head.
Robert tried to teach her how to fish, but quickly found out she didn’t have the patience for it. It wasn’t something that she grew up doing, but he was glad that she at least gave it a try. Robert worked with his sister to teach her how, and was so proud of her when she finally caught a fish. It was too small so they had to let it go, but he was still proud none the less. They didn’t walk away with a big haul, but their parents promised they’d come back one more time to see if they could get anything else for the cook out.
Adelaide and Robert finally packed up the picnic while his family packed up their fish and gear. On the way up, Savannah kept talking to Adelaide, who happily talked with the young girl. It made him happy to see his best friend get along with his family. He was so nervous, and it was all for nothing. Adelaide fit into the Floyd’s like a new favorite meal. You didn’t know you needed it at first, but once you have it, you can’t get over it. She even joked around with is older brother’s from time to time. They walked to the top of the trail together, Robert immediately noticing the truck and his bike next to each other. He placed the basket in the truck, before grabbing his bike.
“I’m gonna walk Adelaide home. I’ll meet y’all back at the house.” His sister reluctantly let go of Adelaide, who was then immediately pulled into a hug from Mindy.
“Be safe dear,” she then leaned down to whisper in Adelaide’s ear, “my baby boy’s crazy ‘bout you. I know that look.” She pulled away to see Adelaide’s face heat up in a flush. Mindy gave Robert a hug and piled into the truck with the rest of her family. When Adelaide finally walked over to Robert, they began their trek back to her house.
“So, what did momma tell you to make ya blush?” He asked, pushing his bike along the way. Adelaide thought back, and felt her face heat up again.
“Nothin’. It was nothin’, Robby.” She looked down at her feet, kicking rocks and dirt whenever she could. Robert looked over at her, thoroughly unconvinced.
“Come on, Honey! I know you and I also know my momma. Besides your blush ain’t that subtle.” This caused her face to heat up again from embarrassment.
“It’s nothin’, Bobby. Don’t worry, okay?” She please, with an air of finality. Robert saw how upset she was starting to get about it.
“Okay. ‘M sorry.” And the two kids were plunged into an awkward silence.
“Sorry for snappin’, Robby.” Adelaide apologized, looking up at Robert’s face as she walked. He returned the look and offered her a smile. When she too smiled, he wrapped his left hand firmly on the bike, and his right arm around her shoulder’s. While he wasn’t too much taller, he was still just a couple inches above her. She was sure that was going to change soon. The rest of the walk was silent for the most part as they were pretty close to her house. They stopped in front, and Adelaide turned to Robert who propped his bike on the kickstand to have both hands free. She wrapped her arms around waist, while his went around her neck. This was the most comfortable position with Robert’s newest growth spurt. They stood there, holding tightly on to the other, not wanting to the day to end. But alas, they eventually had to pull away, however, their arms stayed around one another.
They were extremely close; sharing the same air. Robert couldn’t help but to memorize Adelaide’s face in this moment. Her eyes sparkled, and her skin glowed. Her hair was free and shiny. She looked happy. He couldn’t help but hope he was the cause of her happiness.
While Robert was busy with staring at Adelaide; Adelaide was busy staring at Robert. He had a little first smudge on his nose, right under his glasses. Said glasses were slightly askew, as they seemed to be perpetually. But his smile lit up his eyes, and his freckles were coming out thanks to the sun. His hair was also showing the effects of the long hours in the sun, as it was brighter than normal. His face looked happy. And, like Robert, Adelaide hoped she was the cause of his happiness.
They eventually broke away completely, but not before Adelaide gave Robert his kiss on his cheek. Even after all these years, it still never failed to make him blush. She giggled before reaching her hand up and wiping at the smudge of dirt on his face. His glasses were moved temporarily but she set them back down in their place.
“You had some dirt on your nose.” Now Robert felt self conscious. How long was that there? He reached up and gave his nose a hard rub while she giggled again.
“I got it already, Robby.” Now he felt stupid. Of course, that’s why she was touching his face.
“Oh. Right.” She situated her bag back in its proper place before turning to go into her house.
“See ya next time, Robby!” She called out with a wave.
“See ya next time, Honey!” He called back. He watched her walk all the way to the house, before he began his bike home. Oh boy, he was not looking forward to the teasing that he was sure to experience at home.
Meanwhile, Adelaide was trying to sneak as quietly back into the house as possible. But she wasn’t quiet enough.
“Adelaide, where have you been?” Her mother asked, sitting on the couch in the living room reading a magazine. She stopped; trying desperately to think of how she could spin this.
“I was outside. Under the willow tree. I wanted to watch a movie out there.” She tried to speak as calmly as possible. There was silence for a moment, and she thought that her mother had seen right through the partial lie. But she only hummed in acknowledgment.
“Well, get out of those disgusting clothes and get washed up for dinner. No dallying young lady.” And she turned back to her magazine. Adelaide breathed out a sigh of relief; it worked. She made her way up the stairs quickly to her room, and began to wash up. Her secret was safe another day, but she desperately wished to be with Robert’s family instead. She wanted to stay with Robert.
The thought of constantly being around Robert crossed her mind, and it made her pause. She didn’t have feelings for her best friend did she? Oh no.

Cursed Kisses - Chapter 6: The Lesson
~~~
Yuánfèn (Mandarin): “The fate between two people;” “The destiny that brings two people together.”
SH Month Day 30 Prompt
~~~
A dismal summer wind whispered through the dry leaves of tall oaks. It was not enough to dispel the oppressive heat of late afternoon.
Izumo was busily sanitizing the surfaces of the Konoha gate guarding station when a loud snore from his right quickly seized his attention.
“KOTETSU! What have I told you about sleeping on the job?” Izumo chastised his long-time partner.
Jolting up to a sitting position, Kotetsu sleepily wiped the drool on his chin onto the sleeve of his uniform. “It’s so boring lately… and the heat makes me tired. We don’t have any missions but we’re still worked like dogs to prepare for Tanabata next week. Besides, with the peace treaties finalized, the gate only needs one guard- not two jonin level shinobi,” he complained. He ruffled his spiky dark with a hand, attempting to reinvigorate his senses.
The more serious of the two, Izumo reminded, “With all the merchants that will be visiting from other lands, we must remain ever vigilant to-”
FWOOOSH!!!
His stringy brown locks whipped across his face with a gust of wind, trailing a dark blur. Shaking his fist madly over his head he screamed, “Announce yourself!”
Kotetsu yelped when a shuriken knocked into the freshly wiped surface near his resting palm. Freeing the multi-pointed object from its hold, he examined the star and noticed small but significant engravings around the center. With sweat dripping from his temple, he bleakly informed, “Uchiha.”
Sasuke’s singularly focused mind would not allow him to stop- would not allow him to be distracted. He didn’t have a plan. He only knew that he needed to see her. Now.
Approaching the cloistered Hyuga compound his pace became less hurried, his tread more leisurely, until a slight rustling in the nearby leaves alerted him to a small presence. He turned abruptly towards the sound and saw…
…a young, female Neji?
“She’s not here you know,” a light, playful tone came from a thin girl, no older than fifteen. Her long bangs fell messily over one eye, although it appeared that someone had taken great care to brush and contain her waist-length locks in a tidy ponytail. Her expensive, bright yellow, silk kimono was unkempt. She had a mischievous and carefree air about her as she stared at him with large, curious Hyuga eyes from her upside-down perch in a leafy tree.
Deciding to humor the teenager, he responded, “Who’s not here, little one?”
“Pffft.” She blew air from her mouth towards her hairline in an act of derision. Then she proceeded to execute a dangerous backflip off of the low branch flawlessly- barely a hair out of place as she landed. Appraising him with a catlike stare, she commented, “I’m almost the same age you were when you fought in the last war. I doubt you would have called yourself little then.”
He gave a single, slow, agreeable nod; his eyes shutting thoughtfully. “Uh-huh… and back then I also became a missing-nin, killed my brother, and wanted to be Hokage to control the world. Your argument has a few holes.”
Sasuke watched amusedly as her eye twitched, all retorts dying on her lips.
Recomposing herself quickly, she dismissively spoke in a rush, “Well, anyway, my sister is not here. She never even came home. I’ve been keeping an eye out for her since she left with you. She looked really upset when she came in through the gates and went straight to Shino’s house. What did you do to her anyway?”
Her eyes narrowed threateningly, waiting for his response.
Releasing a loud sigh, he began to walk away, muttering, “I gave her hope.”
----------
Lying on her side on a sofa in the spacious den of Shino’s private quarters, Hinata could hear her teammates conversing from the entryway but paid no attention.
“She’s just been lying there, not saying anything since she got here. What are we supposed to do?” Kiba whispered anxiously, his eyes darting between the prone form on the couch and his spectacled brother in arms.
A sigh escaped from Shino, carefully deliberating the appropriate action. Speaking with his usual calm, he said, “Hinata must have come here seeking a safe, comfortable space. I believe that is all we can offer her at this time. At least until she is willing to share with us. If that time never comes, it is enough for us to be here with her.”
“Yeah, but…” Kiba paused brusquely, and tilted his nose upwards taking a sharp whiff with a shake of his head. Emitting a low growl from the base of his throat, Akamaru crept near his master taking a defensive stance. “He’s here.”
“Kiba- Stay,” Shino ordered.
“Oi! You’re not the alpha here!” Kiba barked yet obediently moved towards Hinata, causing a sly smile to pull at the corners of Shino’s mouth.
With a gingerly stride out of his private residence on Aburame property, he already knew the Uchiha had breached the perimeter when his kikaichu reported back to him. However, there was no killing intent from the lone clansmen. Only desperation and despair.
Stopping a few yards from each other, they came face to face on the gravelly path leading to his home. Sizing each other up from behind passive glances.
Shino’s deceptively gentle voice pierced the quiet. “What brings you here, Uchiha?”
“I want to speak to Hinata.” There was no doubt, no confusion. Straight to the point.
For a while, neither made a sound.
Neither one moved.
Shino’s gaze became unbearably penetrating. Sasuke was already on edge and about to lose his calm when the Aburame finally spoke again.
“How well do you know Hinata?” The taller, thinner Aburame questioned.
“What?” The question was spat out like he tasted something fetid.
Completely unruffled, Shino elaborated, “Do you really believe Hinata will want to listen to you right now? That anything you have to say at this moment will make a difference? I don’t know what happened while you were together, or what’s going on between the two of you, but I know Hinata. If you believe coming here now is the right way to win her over, you don’t understand her at all… and you don’t deserve her.”
The hot blaze of fury erupted through his entire being. The urge for a fight- physical or verbal- was prodigious. Yet, the rational part of his brain knew the Aburame was right.
Shino turned away and left the speechless Uchiha, allowing the words to sink in.
----------
Sasuke had not felt this beaten down in a long time. Slinking up his stairs and to his bedroom, he shed his belongings carelessly. He flung his cloak over the plush chair in the corner. His sword dropped unceremoniously onto the ground.
Reaching into his pocket, his fingers met the rough edge of the acorn. He pulled out the memento and stared at it for a good while, trying to unravel the Gordian Knot that was Hinata. When his examination brought him no answers, he huffed a breath with defeat, placing the seed on his windowsill.
Removing his top and his socks and tossing them aside, he collapsed on his bed. Slinging his forearm over his eyes to block out the light, he tried to think. However, the discomfort of his position shifted his attention to the culprit. He reached into his back pocket, to the object that was causing one side of his hips to rest higher than the other, and retrieved the book- Hinata’s fairytale.
His eyes moved down the faded brown leather of the bindings and drifted across the title. He fanned through the pages Hinata must have caressed a thousand times.
Suddenly, an idea lanced through his musings. If Shino thought he needed to understand Hinata better, perhaps this was a good place start.
Shifting to a sitting position, with his pillow propped against the headboard for better support, he opened the novel to the beginning of the story.
When Totoro was still young, he lost someone very close to him…
… the little Leprechaun tried to steal the golden satchel carrying the four-leaf clover…
… Totoro managed to escape with the Princess from the Sirens of the Lake…
Word after word.
Chapter after chapter.
He found himself tethered to the fantasy and reliving his own experiences with Hinata. How accurate the contents had been in its retelling of foreign lands and mythical beasts.
The skies dulled from the fluorescent hues of sunset to the cold depth of night, and quickly evolving into the soothing calm of dawn. Still, he read on- never leaving the imprint of his body on the bed, or the marvel of the pages he turned.
Even he could not help but be enticed by the allure of hope. Would Totoro bring back the person he lost? Would he get his happily ever after with the princess?
The soft glow of early morning filtered through his windows as he snapped the book shut. A renewed sense of purpose filling him. He knew what he needed to do, but he was going to need help. Not only would he need to put in a request with the Hokage, but he would also need help from the most elite team of shinobi he could think of in order to pull this off.
With languid movements, he brought himself to the edge of his bed and reached out for the pen and pad of paper on his nightstand.
He scrawled out the first line.
I need a favor.
----------
One week later…
Meandering through a procession of dancers and jovial participants, clusters of long star streamers dangling overhead tickled Hinata’s face and shoulders as she passed. She wore a dazzling red and white floral yukata, red obi and zori sandals. Holding hands in a line, Kiba and Akamaru took the lead while Shino brought up the rear.
The makeshift bamboo forest of the Tanabata festival was already littered with hundreds of colorful tanzaku by the time they arrived. Quickly, she scribbled her wish on a bright yellow sheet.
I wish for Neji to be at peace.
Her hand lingered; her lids lowered shut. She swallowed down the rising lump in her throat, and said farewell to the hope of bringing him back or honoring his sacrifice.
With the strip of paper in her grasp, she searched the decorated trees for a suitable location. Finding a clear spot, she halted her movements and stretched her arm out towards the stem- prepared to string up the tanzaku on a stalk.
A harsh gust of wind kicked up.
The page was gone!
Panic swelled through her and she instantly looked to the ground. Her eyes darted left and right, she spun in a circle certain she had dropped it, when an odd movement caught her attention.
Snapping her head in that direction she saw a girl, younger than Hanabi, smiling brightly and waving her tanzaku a short distance away.
“Go on, we’ll circle around and meet in the middle,” Kiba shouted.
Shino nodded agreeably.
Determination crossed Hinata’s features. She kicked off her sandals and tore at the skirt of her dress with a kunai, creating a mid-thigh slit for better mobility.
The young brunette thief was thrilled. Flashing a mischievous smirk, she excitedly took off.
The three split up with Hinata pursuing the girl head on.
Hinata knew she could let it go and simply rewrite her wish, but it was the principle of the matter. That prayer was for Neji, and she would do everything in her power to ensure the heavens received it.
The throng condensed, as onlookers gathered on either side of the street to admire the float parade. The designs honored the greatest heroes of the lands in the form of prior and current Kage.
To avoid the spectators, the preteen began to dash up the sides of nearby structures. The grand visage of Gaara, as Suna’s Kazekage, entered the alleyway.
Several gasps and shouts arose from the audience when the girl flung her body from a building top and onto the passing float.
Viewing from the nearest roof, Hinata was undeterred. Her heart pounded in her ears. She paced several steps back and turned around to face the alley. Taking a few quick gulps of air, her feet hit the concrete and she was moving. In a moment she was at the edge of the building.
She leapt.
Feeling weightless, she fell towards the paper mâché bust of Gaara. With chakra saturating her limbs, she groped for any part of the head she could grab. Her hands found no purchase, until a palm slammed into the bridge of the nose. Clinging for dear life, she directed all her energy to that single point. The weight of her body dragging her down as her descent slowed. Coming to a stop at his chin, she looked up and realized she essentially sliced the bust of the float in half.
The crowd cheered wildly, thinking this chase was all part of the show.
The temperature of her face heated in embarrassment from all the attention before she pointed a scalding stare at the mischief maker who was smiling innocently at the other end of the platform. Hinata dropped to a crouching position.
“Hinata.”
Raising her body to stand, she turned towards the sound of her name. A quick glance had her heart jumping into her throat with disbelief. Not two strides away, she caught sight of a billowing travel cloak and dark strands tousled by the breeze.
Sasuke?
A blink later the rest of the image sunk in. She was mistaken. It was not Sasuke. It was a poor imitation of the real thing. The clothes fit too tightly. The hair looked more like wool than the silky strands she knew.
Her face twisted in confusion. “What’s going on?”
The stranger dipped his head in a deferential act and introduced himself. “My name is Ryota. I have a message for you.” Walking forward, Ryota gestured to her wrist. “If you would please…”
Bending at the elbow, she lifted her hand. “My hand?”
Something delicate shimmered in his palms, which he proceeded to wrap around her wrist. When it was secured, Hinata twisted her arm, allowing the gold bracelet to capture the sunlight. A single charm dangled from the chain. A dove.
She tilted her head in question and brought her attention to the Uchiha fanatic.
“Just continue to follow the tanzaku. When you reach the end, it will be returned.” He directed her gaze to the small criminal still holding the paper. With a final dip of his head in farewell, he stepped back. “I wish you luck on your journey. You will need it since some of my friends do not believe you are worthy of this honor. They may provide a challenge.”
Hinata had concerns, and she began to speedily rattle them off. “Journey? What honor? What kind of challenge?”
Upon hearing the end of Ryota’s speech, the teen tyrant started to scurry up the broken remains of the Kazekage.
Ryota advised, “You’d better hurry. Naomi’s quick!”
Snapping her attention to the brat, she sprung into motion- following Naomi, and climbing the giant head. Frustrated, she yelled, “Is all this really necessary?”
As expected, there was no response.
With the ease of a flying squirrel, Naomi soared to the next float, landing on the bust of the first Mizukage.
Repeating the girl’s actions, Hinata arrived on the bust to the applause of the crowd. Shaking her head at the ridiculousness of it all, she quickly laid her body flush to the centerpiece as a tidal wave of water crashed past her.
Adding more chakra to her limbs, she quickly scaled the structure as fistfuls of water were thrust in her direction by a false mermaid. Hinata idly pondered on the peculiarity of all the cosplay while simultaneously dodging the liquid projectiles. As each attack missed the spritely Hyuga, they dappled the surface of the Mizukage’s image. By the time Hinata reached the other side, the bust more resembled the Hunchback of Notredame. Spinning like a top mid-jump, she shoved both hands out towards her fishy tormenter. “Eight Trigrams, Vacuum Wall Palm!”
The water specialist was shoved off of the moving stage, landing face down in the dirt. The audience went wild over the spectacle!
A light tap to her shoulder had Hinata whirling defensively.
“Whoa there!” A sweetly chipper voice alerted.
Hinata dropped her arms, staring at another siren. This one held her hands up in surrender, another charm dangling from her fingers- a gold coin.
Once the siren was sure the Hyuga would not harm her, she affixed the coin to the bracelet from Ryota. “You’ve earned this.”
Before Hinata could ask any questions, Naomi brought the attention back to herself and the tanzaku she was agitatedly flapping. “Come and get it!”
Off she went again.
Hinata made an irritated noise in her throat and sprinted after her. Each float a new challenge. Each challenge a new charm. Each charm representing one of the totems she and Sasuke collected on their journey.
One aggressor used a wind style jutsu and blew the Raikage’s effegy to pieces. Another tried a fire style jutsu and burned Hashirama’s float to the ground. They took their roles seriously. The most surprising being an adult in full green makeup and fir. That one, she all but ran from. Haphazardly, Hinata wondered where her teammates had disappeared to, hoping they weren’t also battling sadistic furries.
After Kakashi’s Sixth Hokage float had been effectively dismantled, and Hinata’s bracelet was loaded with gold and silver charms, Naomi held the tanzaku between two fingers and directed it towards a small shrine where it rested between two frames at the top of the last float.
This float, however, was unlike the others. For starters, it was not moving. Further, it did not bear the form of any of the Kage of the lands. It appeared to be a shrine for the dead. After further inspection she realized that was exactly what it was. It was a memorial to the fallen heroes of the last war. Her wish placed neatly by the photographs of Neji Hyuga and Itachi Uchiha.
Cautiously, reverently, she approached; her yukata in ruins. Tattered, damp and singed in various places. She was only mildly aware of her disheveled appearance. Activating her byakugan, she focused her attention on hunting any would-be assailants.
Found you.
She locked onto the figure behind the shrine. There was something strange about this person. Her eyes narrowed in thoughtful examination of her final foe, draped in a long and lavish gown.
The princess shifted into view and started descending the short staircase curving down the side of the platform. Hinata deactivated her byakugan for a different perspective when a dawning realization suddenly washed over her.
Taking a good look at the Hyuga, the elegantly dressed host paused and remarked, “What happened to you?”
That voice.
“Sasuke?”
Sasuke nodded proudly, with a slow, “Mm-hmm.”
“What- what happened to YOU?” A giggle rose in her throat, erupting past her lips into a peal of laughter. Her cheeks hurt. Her eyes blurred and she wiped her tears away with backs of her fingers. “Why are you dressed like that?”
Hinata was now standing on the raised bed, unconsciously drawn to the man in front of her.
“Those idiots better not have hurt you,” he mumbled to himself with a disapproving frown. In response to her question, Sasuke looked away shyly and uncertainly admitted, “I wanted to make your dreams come true.”
A fresh grin in amusement sprang to her face. She swirled an index finger at his dress. “I don’t recall saying I wanted this.”
“Well... after Totoro went on his journey, he got the princess in the end. That was his happily ever after. I was just following the instruction manual.” He presented the story as evidence.
Her eyebrows rose in astonishment. “You read the book?”
He gave a lopsided smile before balancing it on the banister edge. “It was a real page turner.”
“Oh!” She blinked back.
Slowly approaching her, the static steadily growing around them, his eyes held hers in a hypnotic grip. The crowd watched with bated breath as he picked up her chin between his thumb and forefinger so that she had to look up at him. He murmured, “I can’t bring Neji back. Things won’t always be good. And I can’t promise to make you happy… but I promise to work hard every day to make you smile.
“If this life is going to be rough, if this life is going to throw us leprechauns and mermaids and all kinds of terrible and terrific things, then, Hinata Hyuga, there’s no one else I’d rather go on that journey with than you. And I can’t say for sure, but I think Neji would want you to take that chance too.”
A cool breeze kicked up. A pleasant though dissonant tune rang out from wind chimes hanging from the shrine. Hinata’s written wish was swept up with the current of air. It floated directly into her waiting hands. A sinking warmth swelled in her heart and she was overcome with an unknown emotion.
She could only explain it as feeling Neji’s presence. It filled her with so much grief and peace and joy that her eyes began to water.
Looking back at Sasuke with a sniffle, she saw that he was holding one more charm- an acorn.
Attaching the last pendant to her bracelet, he lifted her hands still holding the tanzaku and returned the temple acorn. Refusing to let her go, he laid himself bare and intreated, “I’d like you to come with me. Everywhere. What do you say, Hyuga?”
The brightness of her smile seared past all his remaining doubt, guilt and self-loathing.
She responded, “I believe our paths are aligned, Uchiha.”
“Call me Sasuke.”
“Call me mmph-”
He caught her mouth against his. There was a fire rising in her cheeks. The teasing of his tongue awakened a deep need in her. All the emotions she felt over the past month poured into that one, desirous kiss.
As he began to move away, she she wrapped both arms around his neck and pressed him closer to her. Their bodies entwined, his hand shifting to her lower back, with a dizzying longing in each sensuous stroke.
A raucous uproar of applause and whistles arose from the spectators.
Shino stood next to Kiba and Akamaru in the the crowd. Turning away from the happy pair, he did a double take when he looked at Kiba. “Kiba, are you crying?”
Kiba rubbed at his eyes with a fist. “Damn it! Someone’s cutting onions around here.”
Akamaru huffed at the obvious lie and Shino simply shook his head.
Naruto suddenly poked his head out from between the two members of team eight, chiming in. “No one’s going to mention that Sasuke is wearing a dress? I knew he was Saucegay.”
Beside Naruto, Sakura’s voice reproached, “Naruto, you idiot!”
“Ow!” Naruto rubbed the sore spot on his head, courtesy of Sakura. “Sakuraaaa…”
Kakashi’s unexpected appearance startled Naruto. “This was quite a bit more damage than I expected. Since you all had a hand in this, I’ll see everyone here tomorrow at sunrise for cleanup duty.”
A resounding groan echoed through the group.
Reminded of their audience, the couple reluctantly parted lips. With foreheads pressed together, and eyes gradually opening, matching grins spread across their faces.
That day, Hinata learned two important lessons. First, sometimes life does not give you what you want, instead it gives you what you need. Second, sometimes the best way to honor those who have passed is to live.
… and they lived happily ever after.
THE END

A/N: I wrote the last section listening to Trees (Instrumental with backing vocals) by Twenty One Pilots.
For anyone curious about the significance of the acorn, it is another lucky object according to various cultures (namely Norse, British and Druid). Besides being considered lucky, it’s also a symbol of growth, rebirth, and perseverance through challenges. I also read somewhere that you can make a wish on an acorn and if you put it on your windowsill for three days then your wish will come true (Sasuke placed the acorn on his windowsill if you recall). It also said that for love wishes, you should send the acorn to the object of your desire (Sasuke gave the acorn back to Hinata). It’s a bit of an Easter Egg that’s not really important to the plot but I liked the hidden meaning behind these actions and how it fit into the overall theme of the story so I wrote it in.
I hope you all had a wonderful SasuHina month 2022! This chapter was published a day late but at least it’s still August in some parts of the world. :)
Again, I really appreciate everyone for giving this story a chance, for all the follows and fave’s, and especially for those willing to leave words of encouragement and support even though I have not had the opportunity to personally thank you.
Until next time!

How Do I Know If a Cannabis Club Near Me is Legitimate?
Cannabis clubs have become increasingly popular in many cities, offering members a safe and social environment to consume marijuana. However, not all cannabis clubs are created equal, and it's essential to distinguish legitimate establishments from those that might operate outside the law or fail to provide a safe environment. If you're searching for a "Cannabis Club Near Me" or specifically looking for a "Madrid Weed Club," "Best Weed Clubs Madrid," or "Club Weed Madrid," this guide will help you navigate the process and ensure you find a reputable and legal cannabis club.
Understanding Cannabis Clubs
Before diving into how to identify a legitimate cannabis club, it's important to understand what these clubs are and how they operate. Cannabis clubs, especially in Spain, function under a unique legal framework. They are private, non-profit associations where members collectively cultivate and share marijuana. These clubs operate under strict regulations to ensure safety, legality, and community standards.

Check for Legal Compliance
Registration and Licensing
The first step in verifying the legitimacy of a cannabis club is to ensure it is legally registered. In Spain, legitimate cannabis clubs must be registered with the local government and comply with regional regulations. Ask the club for their registration details and confirm their legitimacy through local government websites or resources.
Membership Requirements
Legitimate cannabis clubs typically require membership and do not allow walk-in customers. This ensures the club adheres to laws regarding private associations. When you inquire about joining a "Madrid Weed Club," check their membership process. Reputable clubs will require identification, proof of age, and sometimes even a referral from an existing member.
Research Online Reviews and Testimonials
Online Presence
A legitimate cannabis club will usually have an online presence, whether it's a website, social media pages, or listings on cannabis-related directories. Look for reviews and testimonials from current and former members. Websites like Google Reviews, WeedMaps, or specific cannabis forums can provide insights into the experiences of others.
Community Feedback
Engage with the community by asking for recommendations or warnings about specific clubs. Platforms like Reddit or local cannabis forums can be valuable resources. People are often willing to share their experiences, both good and bad, which can help you make an informed decision.
Visit the Club in Person
Initial Impressions
Your first visit to a potential "Club Weed Madrid" should give you a good sense of its legitimacy. Pay attention to the environment, the behavior of staff, and the overall atmosphere. A professional and welcoming environment is a positive sign. Legitimate clubs will have clear rules and regulations posted, and staff should be knowledgeable and transparent about their operations.
Staff Interaction
Talk to the staff and ask questions about the club's operations, membership rules, and the source of their cannabis. Legitimate clubs are usually transparent about their cultivation processes and are happy to share information with potential members. If the staff seems evasive or unwilling to provide clear answers, consider it a red flag.
Evaluate Safety and Hygiene Standards
Cleanliness
A legitimate cannabis club will prioritize cleanliness and hygiene. During your visit, take note of the cleanliness of the facilities, including common areas, restrooms, and especially the areas where cannabis is stored and consumed. Proper sanitation practices are crucial for the safety and well-being of members.
Product Quality and Testing
Reputable cannabis clubs will ensure that their products are safe and of high quality. Ask about their testing procedures and whether their cannabis is tested for contaminants such as pesticides, mold, and heavy metals. Clubs that can provide test results from reputable laboratories are more likely to be legitimate and concerned about member safety.
Assess the Social Environment
Member Conduct
The behavior of other members can also indicate the legitimacy of a cannabis club. Observe how members interact with each other and with the staff. A respectful and friendly environment is a positive sign. Clubs that have a community-focused approach tend to be more reputable and adhere to legal standards.
Events and Activities
Many legitimate cannabis clubs offer social events, educational sessions, and other activities to engage their members. These events can include cannabis tastings, growing workshops, or informational seminars about responsible use. A club that invests in its community and provides value beyond just cannabis consumption is more likely to be legitimate.
Verify Compliance with Local Laws
Local Regulations
Cannabis laws can vary significantly from one region to another. Make sure the "Best Weed Clubs Madrid" or any other club you're considering complies with local regulations. This includes limits on the amount of cannabis that can be cultivated and distributed, restrictions on advertising, and rules about where and how cannabis can be consumed.
Law Enforcement
In some areas, local law enforcement may have information about which cannabis clubs are operating legally. While this isn't always the case, it's worth checking if there are any public resources or contacts you can use to verify the status of a club.
Seek Recommendations from Trusted Sources
Friends and Family
If you know people who are members of cannabis clubs, ask them for recommendations. Personal referrals from trusted sources can be invaluable in finding a legitimate and reputable club.
Tumblr media
Cannabis Community Leaders
Local cannabis activists, educators, and influencers often have in-depth knowledge about the best and most legitimate clubs in the area. Follow local cannabis blogs, social media pages, and attend local cannabis events to connect with knowledgeable individuals who can guide you.
Conclusion
Finding a legitimate "Cannabis Club Near Me," whether you're looking for a "Madrid Weed Club," "Best Weed Clubs Madrid," or "Club Weed Madrid," requires a bit of research and due diligence. By ensuring the club is legally registered, evaluating online reviews, visiting in person, and assessing their safety and community standards, you can confidently choose a reputable cannabis club that provides a safe and enjoyable environment for its members.
Remember, the key to identifying a legitimate cannabis club is transparency, legal compliance, and a strong sense of community. Take your time to research and evaluate your options, and you'll find a club that meets your needs and adheres to the highest standards of safety and legality.
