When you sign up for a cooking class with @luxurytastemaker & @privatechefmallor… Once you join a cooking class with @luxurytastemaker & @privatechefmallorca you make magic! Over the course of 4 hours we made a charred vegetable gazpacho, crispy sea bream served over cashew cream with lemon alioli and zucchini filled with cod brandade, and eventually a traditional Mallorcan ensaimada for dessert.

Birthday Dinner in Porto Cristo

The best perks about my job are meeting people from all over the world! Mainly it's families that come down to Malorca to celebrate a birthday or just be able to spend time together in a beautiful villa.

This evening was a special birthday dinner of 12 friends that had gathered to celebrate together. They thought about dinning out but when small children are involved it makes it a lot tougher to just pick up and go. This is where hiring a personal chef really puts your thoughts and evenings at ease.

I work together with my wife to create memorable evenings and she really out did herself with the table scape, plating and overall flow of the night. Since we work so closely together she knows to pick the flowers in the correct shade to match my dinner so your eye doesn't get too distracted and the evening unfolds seamlessly. Nothing is overlooked and truth is in the details.

We started with a Cava Cocktail, The Hugo and Canapes!

Slow Roasted Lamb on polenta Cakes, I added a bit of harissa salsa for a spicy kick.

Some refreshing Watermelon, Balsamic, Basil Blasts!

After an hour of passed canapes we were ready for service and did a 3 course menu. Tomato Tart appetizer and a grilled steak from our favorite supplies, Angus Son Mayol* in Establiments. When you want the best meat you have to look them up!

What a special evening for us and a great birthday for Bianca. One your friends will never forget. Cheers!
