Today I finished The Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan and obviously it was amazing... I love Magnus with a passion, I think I've said it before but I like how he's not trying to be the hero, he's just there... Trying not to get killed by giant squirrels or giants in general, he never knows what to do but somehow manages to get out of the most ridiculous situations, and of course, he has the best sense of humour in the nine worlds. Overall he's just great. I'm really sad about having finished this trilogy, I have no Magnus to look forward to 😭😭😭 but hey I'm pretty sure he'll play some sort of part in the Apollo series... At least I hope so, I'm not ready to say goodbye to all this characters! (Especially Alex, I don't think I've ever read about a gender fluid character) but yeah... Everyone should read this series... Needless to say, I cried like a little baby most of the time, so much that while listening to the last hour and a half of the audiobook I was on a bus and just started quietly crying and a lady next to me gave me a funny look. But in my defence! The voice actor was just... It was so beautiful; he really made me feel all of Salvador's emotions as if they where my own.
