Weekend plans of going back to basics in school 🤓 I thought it would be a good idea to share a part of the process of a garment when you place an order with my business. This one is for my chunky cotton cables jumper for a customer. For ever jumper or any order received, there is a long process before the knitting even begins. If you order a bigger size to a sample size, I first grade the pattern (making bigger sizes on paper), the paper pattern is then converted into a ‘knit pattern’ where all measurements are converted from cms into needles and rows. This graph tells me where to fashion the garment which would be knitted to shape so there is absolutely ZERO cutting involved which means minimal waste.
