Kế đó là các phương pháp để validate các hypothesis như A/B Testing, usability testing, tree testing…

Bạn thiết kế sản phẩm cho ngành nào thì phải hiểu đặc thù của ngành đó. Ví dụ bạn thiết kế sản phẩm cho ngành Logistics ở Mỹ thì bạn phải hiểu ngành Logistics ở Mỹ hoạt động ra sao, có những key player nào, khả năng cạnh tranh ra sao, market gap nằm ở chỗ nào, underserved market nằm ở chỗ nào…

Bạn cần làm quen với việc tìm hiểu đối thủ (competitor research) rồi tìm hiểu ngành (field research)

Ngoài ra bạn cần follow up ngành mà bạn đang làm việc ví dụ làm sản phẩm tài chính thì bạn cũng phải biết được các văn bản hướng dẫn ngân hàng nhà nước ra sao

[Broad Knowledge] Business Model & Operation

Bạn làm cho một doanh nghiệp thì cũng cần hiểu cơ bản cách hoạt động của doanh nghiệp ra sao, có những phòng ban nào, các phòng ban phối hợp với nhau ra sao, workflow vai trò của bạn là gì trong toàn bộ chuỗi giá trị của công ty… Những thứ này bạn có thể hiểu được thông qua stakeholder interview hoặc những cuộc trò chuyện với nhiều người trong công ty từ cấp thấp nhất tới cấp cao nhất.

Bạn sẽ làm quen với những thứ như cashflow, revenue stream, cost structure v.v Cứ hiểu nôm na mọi thứ là sự đầu tư, và sự đầu tư cần mang lại hiệu quả gì đó (return on investment). Dù bạn làm một chức năng gì đó thì sau một thời gian cũng phải đánh giá lại hiệu quả kinh tế nó mang lại so với chi phí xây dựng và vận hành đã bỏ ra

UI của bạn sau khi được chốt sẽ được chuyển giao cho các ông tech để xử lý. Sau khi thành hình, đôi khi (không muốn nói là thường xuyên) bạn sẽ thấy nó không giống so với bản thiết kế. Điều cần làm là ngồi xuống tìm cách tháo gỡ. Cách tốt nhất để có tiếng nói chung là bạn phải hiểu tech development ra sao

Bạn sẽ làm quen với những công nghệ và quy trình để xây dựng một hệ thống.

Ví dụ web thì bạn cũng nên tìm hiểu các framework về HTML&CSS để có thể xử lý responsive design tốt hơn và nhanh hơn. Rồi tìm hiểu CSS preprocesssors, Front-End Architect, Javascript, Client-side rendering, local storage v.v.
