In der Tat, es gibt Tiere, schneller, größer, stärker als der Mensch, besser geschützt gegen Kälte, Hitze oder äußere Feinde, fruchtbarer oder feinhöriger. Doch sein überlegenes Gehirn erfindet Hilfsmittel, Verlängerungen seiner Wirkungsmöglichkeiten, Prothesen, mit deren Hilfe er den Erdkreis unterwirft und nach seinem Willen gestaltet. Seine Hand, als Werkzeug ein Wunder an Vielseitigkeit, ist schwach. Je bent dezelfde avond weer thuis.” Patiëntervaring De reacties van patiënten zijn volgens de orthopeed ongelooflijk positief. We zien dat patiënten minder complicaties hebben en snel weer aan het werk kunnen. Puck Bekkers is fysiotherapeut en één van de patiënten die werd geholpen op de dagbehandeling. “Ik had slijtage aan mijn rechterknie en wilde zo spoedig mogelijk geholpen worden. Dagbehandeling was voor mij een uitkomst. Je komt ’s ochtends in het ziekenhuis en slaapt dezelfde avond in je eigen bed. In je eigen leefomgeving helen, draagt bij aan spoedig herstel. Het gaat heel goed met mij en ik ben echt enorm blij met het resultaat. Na zeven weken kan ik alweer rustig aan de slag met werken.” Wat is atrose?
