Proverbs 3:24-26 (AMP). [24] “When you lie down, you will not be afraid; When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. [25] Do not be afraid of sudden fear Nor of the storm of the wicked when it comes [since you will be blameless]; [26] For the Lord will be your confidence, firm and strong, And will keep your foot from being caught [in a trap].”
Psalms 16:8 (NLT). [8] “I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.”
“Training to See God” by In Touch Ministries:
“Ask God to help you see the evidence of His love and power in your life.”
“David was confident that the Lord was always with him (Psalm 16:8). His psalms reveal he was well aware of God’s intimate involvement in his life. Like David, we should train our spiritual eyes to notice evidence of the heavenly Father’s presence.
Seeing with spiritual eyes isn’t a now-and-then kind of thing—it’s a lifestyle. Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). Those who walk with the Lord can take captive unholy thoughts, habits, attitudes, and words. They can cast out sin and live in righteousness. As a result, such believers have a spiritual clarity that sharpens their awareness of God’s presence and role in their life.
When you lie down and talk to the Lord before going to sleep, try to recall the events of your day. What you’re really doing is looking for evidence of God’s hand at work. How did He guide a decision? Answer a question? Protect you in a situation? Help you in a relationship? Appreciating the Lord’s handiwork will etch the reality of His love deeper in your heart.
For us as believers, evidence of God’s great power is everywhere in our life, if only we will see it. Viewing the world with wide-open spiritual eyes changes our perspective. We can live confident in our loving, omnipotent God, who dwells within us.”

Scriptures for when you're going through a rough time
~Psalm 23:4 "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."
~John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
~Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you; He will not leave you or forsake you."
~John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
~Romans 8:38-39 "For I am convinced that neither life not death, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
~Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
God loves you no matter what circumstances you're going through. He loves you so much and wants to be your source of help during your times of trouble. ❤️

A Message to You, the Reader Thank you for joining me in this raw, unedited spiritual conversation. As you read through this dialogue, perhaps you will recognize yourself in some of these biblical characters. Not just in their moments of faith, but in their struggles, impatience, and attempts to control outcomes. The beauty of Scripture is that it doesn't hide the messiness of faith. Like that needlework analogy I talk about. But sometimes we can only see the tangled threads and knots in our own lives. But God sees the masterpiece He's creating. If you're in a season where you are trying to force God's hand, or where you're struggling to understand His timing, remember that the invitation is always to have relationship with Him, not perfection. The question isn't whether we'll fail, but which direction we'll turn when we do. Will we, like Judas, turn away in our shame? Or will we, like Abraham, bow our knee and return to the God who never gives up on us? I invite you to share in the comments: Where have you seen God's patient work in your life? When has He done something better than what you initially asked for? Or where are you still waiting, hoping to eventually see the front side of His needlework in your story? Wherever you are in your journey, remember - God isn't looking for perfection. He's looking for relationship. Karan~
