i keep thinking about a hundred line au. more headcanoning, rain code spoilers, and mild spoilers for 100line's first 100 days under the cut:

Fubuki has Takumi's "retry" ability, so she's the one time traveling to bring about a happy ending. I suppose you could say she's the protagonist here!

Speaking of protags, Yuma is an all around attacker who can buff his nearby allies with armor with one of his moves. However, his skills change to boosted attacking moves if an ally dies in the same turn, making him a vengeance-based killing machine.

You may be wondering why Yomi has a support role. Well that's because he actually goes out there bossing everyone around to do his bidding, lol. With his whip, he motivates his allies, curing their fatigue, creating high voltage, and giving them attack boosts at the cost of some friendly fire damage

Yakou's job is generally applying armor to himself and others, but also inflicting bleed on targets. If he happens to have a debuff, he gains an attack boost.

Makoto is still a clone of Yuma, created as a result of some hemoanima experiments. Despite being a clone created for war, Makoto is quite friendly with Yuma, and they'll often be hanging out in the same rooms during free time.

I think Kurumi would play a similar role to Nozomi in terms of mechanics and some aspects of the story.

Zilch has a muzzle and ears purely for aesthetic purposes. Despite all the animal motifs in his class armor, not a single one of his abilities reference it.

Pucci's mech is shaped like a big teddy bear. I feel like that's important to note.

Shinigami is their super puffy, super cute, morally dubious commanding officer! Her personality doesn't change much- she just happens to have a leadership position and way too much sway in running things lol

New AU Alert - Fallen Detectives AU

okay Chat I can’t contain myself anymore I GOTTA SHARE THE DESIGNS WITH THE WORLD.

So! Me and a few moots @elina-sakura and @draconicsparkle are working together on making an official fic for an AU called “Fallen Detectives!”

(SPOILERS DOWN BELOW!)

This AU takes place around the events of Chapter 4.

It essentially boils down to - “What if Yomi had kidnapped and essentially brainwashed the NDA into becoming peacekeepers?” And after their disappearance, it’s up to Kurumi to figure out what happened to them and eventually uncover the secrets behind Kanai Ward, the people in the city, and saving the NDA from Yomi’s grasp.

There are gonna be HUGE changes that will explain certain aspects of why you may see some characters designed here, but for the sake of keeping it a surprise, I won’t share them. :)

But one that I CAN share is this: Martina Electro will still be around!

While I do love the redemption arc we briefly saw at the end of Chapter 4, I just wished she wasn’t “killed offscreen in chapter 2 only PLOT TWIST SHES BACK!”

And idk. We love to see women’s wrongs here. So! She is still going to be present for this AU after chapter 2!

While we can all agree that Yomi is a sadistic evil shit, I really wished we had seen him and Martina be a lovey-evil couple and not have the “he backstabs her” thing because I feel like we rarely see evil power couples nowadays. Now Yomi is still an absolute asshole - of course - but, idk. I just wish we could’ve had a power couple thats absolutely evil and horrible together, yknow?

But that’ll be explored more in the AU once we get further into it.

I’m so pumped for this to be explored and share it with you guys.

God the first draft of this had so much info dumping that this is honestly less then a quarter of what it was. Sumn tells me nobody has the patience to read every single thing I have to say so I'll keep it brief!

Tldr; This is my favourite album of all time and my favourite fanart format is when people redraw characters on to the cover.

The track list is what character in mdarc I'd assign to each song on the album, even though I chose to only do the detectives in the artwork. This is because I thought it looked cooler for it to only be the detectives (minus Zange, sorry dude, I can't draw old people and there weren't enough spots anyways-) And also because I want to do the back cover art but as Kanai Ward Residents/Peacekeepers.

Tbh I think the whole theme of the album itself can be applied to Raincode really easily beyond just "I imagine this character in my head when I listen to this song". They both deal with how to define what humanity is, showing it's ugliest sides through horrible but strangely beautiful means. If you haven't already, I highly and fully biasedly recommend listening to it!

I made this drawing of Pucci in my notebook today when I was in my course, the second time I make a raincode character painted in my notebook. (The first ones were the female versions of Yuma and Makoto)

To be honest I have a sketchbook that I could have done there, but I left it at home, so I did it in the school one. A little edit to her bow being blue instead of pink, I think it looks cute. My drawings in the notebook are simpler than digitally, especially in relation to the colors, sorry about her hair.

It's been a long time since I drew her, the last time was this one, maybe I'll do more? I don't know, but I'll leave it here.
