π**RECIPE BELOW** π Now, Iβm not a big fan of savory pumpkin π recipes but this pumpkin pasta sauce was absolutely delicious π€€ β’ πFOLLOW @theoddfoodie FOR DAILY RECIPES/FACTS & TIPS π β’ ββββββββ INGREDIENTS π± ββββββββ β’ 300 g pasta β’ 2 C Pumpkin Paste π β’ 1+ C Non-Dairy milk π₯* β’ 1/2-1 tsp Cinnamon β’ 1-2 Tbsp Applesauce ** π β’ 1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar β’ 1 tsp Cumin β’ 1-2 tsp Garlic (add more/less if desired) β’ 2 tsp Prepared Mustard β’ 1 Diced Tomato π
β’ Other chopped veggies of choice (Peppers, Onion, Corn..) β’ Salt/Pepper to taste β’ Other spices if desired ββββββββ METHOD π ββββββββ β’ 1οΈβ£ Cook pasta as per instructions on the box & drain out excess waterπ§ . β’ β’ 2οΈβ£ In a separate pan, add the rest of the ingredients, slowly pouring in liquids (stop when reached desired consistency) π₯£. β’ β’ 3οΈβ£ Mix on low to Medium high heat π₯(just to heat the sauce up & blend all the flavors, cause it tastes so much better warm). β’ β’ 4οΈβ£ Adjust seasonings to taste π
. (You can get creative here) Add more of whatever you like.
