Janet’s Zustand hat sich weiter verbessert, den selbst gemachten Purridge hat sie heute ganz und vor allem ohne stechende Schmerzen verzehrt. Besuch hat sie nun doch nicht bekommen, da der der sich angekündigt hat wegen der akuten Nahrungsmittelknappheit noch in Uganda ist um von dort die benötigten Mengen zu importieren. Wegen der Dürre leiden viele Menschen - Die Regierung von Kenia geht selbst davon aus, dass über 1,3 Millionen Menschen verhungern könnten. Aufgrund dieser Notlage spitzen sich die Zustände weiter zu, sodass nun selbst Janet damit rechnet, dass es mit der kommenden Wahl im Juni wieder zu starken Ausschreitungen wie bei den Wahlen 2007 kommen wird. Da die Preise steigen muss sehr wahrscheinlich verhandelt werden, zu welchem Preis wir die Omena an die Firma verkaufen um den Preisanstieg auszugleichen zu können, wenn überhaupt genug Omena vorhanden, der Export noch erlaubt ist und wir genug Geld zur Verfügung haben. Außerdem ist natürlich speziell im Moment die Weiterverarbeitung von Fisch zu Tiernahrung sehr kritisch zu sehen.
