Turn, listen to the flattering noise, as you inhale the scent of adventures and get lost in words. Reading a book, sometimes has a strong effect. Listen to the melancholic melody of pouring raindrops outside hitting against the vehicle, lean back with a blanket and relax for a certain amount of time like this while reading a novel and you can live inside a different world. This is the magical power that books possess. A magic many cherish. To read a book intensively, brings you to a different world.

Reading a novel seems to be a rare thing for the girl, but truth to be told, she often does that when she spends time inside the white station wagon at the junkyard in Hinamizawa. Especially at rainy days. Just like now. Long had she finished searching for treasure and when it started to rain she crawled inside her van to find some protecting warm. She grabbed one of the books and started reading it. Getting lost in her reading, she eventually fell asleep. The open book dropped to her side.

She slept peacefully like this for a while but what awaited her when she awoke was beyond any understanding. No, it was even beyond any logic. Blue eyes widened, what had happen? Not only wasn't she inside the van anymore, but her book was gone and the place was very different from before. It wasn’t even raining here and It was full with many japanese people, full with manga and anime pictures on the buildings around her! What's going on?

The situation was serious. She was apparently in a very lively and weird city, but it was different from cities she knew. It was not like Okinomiya and Ibaraki.  So where was she? It was like she was literally in a different world. That certainly wasn't Hinamizawa. But then where was she?!!  She looked around in attempt to find some useful hint. Her attention fell upon a building and the hiragana written on it.

"T..o....k....TOKYO!?"  She let out with a gasp , holding a hand to her mouth. She was in Tokyo?!! "Imp...impossible! NO WAY!!! EEEEEEEEEEK!" She screamed in shock frozen as she gazed in disbelieve at the words.

((I love to travel! I’ve never been outside the continental U.S., but I’ve driven cross-country about 3/4s of the way, from Virginia to Utah! I hope to someday travel to places like Canada, Great Britain, and Italy, or perhaps even Japan! I’d just be glad to go to Hawaii, though, at this point!))

(There are several, actually! One I’m in the process of threading is a Kill la Kill AU where Ragyo destroys Hope’s Peak and captures several of the Class 78 students, and Makoto finds himself in Honnouji Academy trying to figure out who killed his friends. Lots of parallels with the actual Kill la Kill storyline there!

Also, Pokemon! Not the anime, but the universe from the games themselves. I’ve considered a lot about which Pokemon Makoto would have, and I think he’d have a lot of Normal-types with the exception of Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir, who I believe is symbolic of Hope and the strength of his bonds with his friends.

Finally, I’d LOVE to put him in a Sword Art Online AU where Class 78 gets trapped in the simulation and struggle against their own natures to try and help everyone survive. Of course, Junko would probably secretly join Laughing Coffin and try to muck things up, but I think Makoto would have a strong chance of keeping Mukuro with them - who would probably be able to dual wield, being the SHSL Soldier! Tons of possibilities!)
