Dionysos, a son of Zeus, rides in his chariot overseeing his conquest of India as described by the fifth-century Egyptian poet Nonnos of Panopolis: "Lord Bacchus [Dionysos] spoke…Indian slaying servants of invincible Dionysos! Spending so much time in the capitol over the years proved to be efficient when she needed a place to escape. Somewhere where she didn't have cameras and microphones following her around. Maintaining the persona could be exhausting. Of course she'd been gutted when she saw both her tributes not make it past the bloodbath, blaming herself for not doing more. She had been working tirelessly to gather sponsorships for them and yet her efforts proved to be in vain. Perhaps she should've spent more time with them, getting to know them, maybe she could've given them better advice then? She sighed, knowing that would've made the aftermath even worse. Coral felt guilty and was currently trying to drown her sorrows in a bottle of vodka. She didn't know what she would tell their parents, making a mental note to craft apology letters when she was more lucid. Hearing someone come up to the roof she quickly brushed the tears away from her face, ready to put up a front when she noticed it was Pyx, her posture relaxing again. "It never gets any easier, does it?"

Kal closed the door gently as he stepped inside the house, brushing his shirt off and panting slightly as he approached Pyx with something hidden behind his back.

"I got you something," he grinned. The smell of fresh honey gave away the surprise.

I made this sweater like 3 years ago when I was procrastinating a graphic design assignment. I got the cat blanket at a thrift store because the cat on it looks like my old boy. The sleeves are from a Montana blanket that I’m pretty sure is older than me. I was so scared to cut the cat blanket because what if I lose something that reminds me of my thorbie when eventually he passes on. I then realized I would be much happier telling people that not only did I make the sweater but the cat is my cat.
