Just realised I never posted my Alien Stage OC here. His name is Eto and his guardian's name is Qooo! He sings mostly gugak, joseon pop-esque songs; he's a bit of a jealous man and he enjoys the competition (as long as he comes on top) ✨ for his voice, I imagine it is similar to sEODo's in his sEODo band's songs !

Take a deep breath, and see what’s going on here? Oke, itu mantra buatku untuk ngga terlalu reaktif menghadapi ini itu yang datang (apalagi akhir-akhir ini, yang sempat bikin mumet kepala dan hati). Beberapa minggu terakhir ini, rasanya aku seperti dikasih kesempatan untuk menerapkan apa yang kubaca dari buku Filosofi Teras. Yup! Aku sedang membaca bukunya. Konsep STAR (Stop-Think & Assess-Respond) mungkin akan jadi salah satu peganganku untuk nggak terlalu reaktif atas suatu hal, terutama yang tidak sesuai apa mauku.

Kalau terjadi sesuatu, coba lagi dilihat dari sudut pandang lain, coba lagi sebenarnya apa yang mau orang lain sampaikan, tanpa membumbui emosi di sana—ya teteup, namanya manusia, emosi itu masih ada, but how we respond towards those emotions yang menjadikan berbeda.

Seringnya, ketika sesuatu datang, mungkin aku akan step back dulu, lihat kenapa begini, kenapa begitu, apa yang harus diselesaikan apa yang dibiarkan, mengapa hal ini dan itu terjadi, dst dsb. Dan, satu lagi, menulis! Menulis selalu jadi koentji untukku break down satu persatu, sampai ketemu tuh what should i do then.

Ya, begitulah. Apa-apa yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini sempat bikin down, tapi nggapapa, it’s okay, i can handle it (insyaAllah). Dan melihat diriku merespon semuanya itu sekarang, jika dibandingkan aku di tahun-tahun sebelumnya, aku bisa melihat diriku yang lebih dewasa. Eaaa, dewasa ga tuh. Ya paling nggak, dari sudut pandangku 😌 Lagi lagi, kadang kita nggak lihat kita berprogress apa-apa sekarang, tapi ketika kita lihat ke belakang, itu tampak berbeda. Ya kalau dulu isi tulisanku isinya penuh self blaming, sekarang lebih kayak ke “Qiqo, i love you! Ayok tumbuh sama-sama ya, Qooo” 🥰 See the difference right?

It took a long time to know my self that i NEED, REALLY NEED, a big hug, much attention, care, and love from my self. Sampai pada titik, oh iya dicukupkan ya untuk orang lainnya, sekarang sama diri sendiri dulu, disayang-sayangi dulu sampai tumpah-tumpah. Kenalin lagi dirinya, kalau ada apa-apa carinya cukup Allah aja, mendekat lagi ke Yang Punya Hidup. Kadang-kadang, kalau nggak ditampar realita macem ini ya, diriku akan di sini-sini aja, nggak kemana-mana. Kalau gini kan jadi belajar beneran ya, Qo. Thank you for always try to understanding yourself, even it’s not easy. Ya nggak mudah lah, kalau mudah ya aku akan fine-fine aja kemaren 😆

Dah ah, selamat menikmati prosesnya ke depan ya Qo. Nitip tulisan ini di sini, barangkali next time butuh lagi. HAHAHA. Namanya juga hidup, kan naik turun ya kak~ Have fun on your journey anyway!
