i think this situation is already heartbreaking on its own but when you start drawing comparisons it really hurts like a thousand times more for all parties involved. imagine learning about the cloning and instantly getting sent back to the moment you were in the exact same position. where it didn’t matter whether it was the same person standing in front of you it only mattered that it stopped hurting and that you didn’t fail them after all. oh h hh it all hurts
