Here’s a collection of Sqwishland (a special interest of mine.) I found this seller who had most of them, but their prices are high so I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from them.

Your best bet is too buy in bulk directly from Sqwishland.com, sadly they’re very expensive too but it’s still a better deal for your money compared to the people who price hike them on second hand sites. Resellers can really bother me :/

Anyway, I like using this blog to document childhood toys that are hard to get your hands on. Reseller slander aside I try to be positive on here so please enjoy these little guys! I loveeee the blue turtle in the fourth picture he’s so cute.

"My Atom Bomb" is a serious fic about trauma and grief and isolation and dying alone and the fear of hurting people you love and two damaged people bonding over being treated like burdens all their lives ... but it's also about two nasty, weird little freaks loving each other very much and giggling like fuckin dorks.

I already wrote about ch 6 volume 8 in my longer book club post, but there was something I couldn’t fit in there that I wanted to say. I’m having a hard time pinning down exactly where Wolfwood’s feelings lie about freedom vs living the life expected of you. But I know this. The whole time I was reading this chapter one of my favorite quotes was running in a loop through my head. 

“Freedom is a length of rope. God wants you to hang yourself with it.” 

Wolfwood has followed orders for so long that he has no conception of his own freedom anymore, to make his own choices or follow his own path. He was made into a killer, a soldier of God, and that’s all he sees himself as. There is no room in his life for freedom or choice. He has the rope, but he refuses to use it. He sees no point in risking himself for something like that when you can stay alive instead. 

The thing is, we’ve already seen this view changing in the present. He’s making his own choices. He saves Vash and turns his back on the cage of the Eye of Michael. Now, he’s going off to do something on his own for the first time. Something that he needs to do, not something he’s been ordered to. 

Freedom is a length of rope. God wants you to hang yourself with it. And, well, Nicholas D. Wolfwood is about to hang himself with it.
