- 1 driver retiring bc he is unwell (sar)

- 1 driver throwing up in his helmet (oco)

- 1 driver nearly fainting (str)

- 1 driver saying he felt like he was going to faint in the car (rus)

- 1 driver in the medical center (alb)

- 1 driver saying he saw many driver be seriously unwell in parc ferme (lec)

And probably more we don't know about yet.

Tracks/Races should not put the drivers health at risk like that.

logan retiring due to feeling ill (possibly from dehydration).

alex could barely get out of the car and needed assistance to stand.

esteban threw up into his helmet during the race.

charles having blurry vision during the race.

lance nearly fainting when getting out of the car and stumbling to the ambulance.

fernando burning inside the car.

lando and george opening their helmets during the race to get some air.

george trying to fan some air with his hands during the race.

oscar laying and max sitting on the floor in the cool down room to get some cold.

and this is probably not even all that we know of. watching the videos of the drivers having a hard time getting out of the cars i just really really really hope that everyone is doing okay and no one suffered any serious stuff from this race. they all need to have a long rest, a lot of water and medical check up to really make sure they are okay. this track is just dangerous. i don't know what but something needs to be done next year with this race like absolutely taken out of the calendar cause this cannot be happening for 10 years straight!

what the fuck even is this track, Logan retired cause he was actively sick during the race, Esteban also was, apparently, and having troubles afterwards. Alex could barely get out of the car and Lance stumbled to the ambulance after struggling with getting out of his car. and this is only what we know of. pretty sure these conditions took a toll on each driver but, hey, ten more years still sounds so good, right? right????

So the conditions at the Quatar Grand Prix were genuinely, unironically terrible — but strictly aesthetically-speaking, it gave us some delightful pictures.

It was like walking into the sun, being with you — it was like walking into the sun for the first time after a terribly long winter.
