Is it just me who’s frustrated with the lack of unbreakable bond in Sonic X? Idk I havent watched the sub version yet (I cant find it anywhere), but from what I’ve seen, they’re barely any wholesome moments between them.

(and DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED on Cosmo’s death scene. Maybe going numb is Sonic’s coping mechanism or smt, but I just wanted him to so something. Anything. Even just a kneel-down would be good at this point.)

before i go into this, most of my sonic x consumption is based on season 3 LMAO i skimmed through s1 and skipped s2 entirely. but i do wish there was more interaction between literally sonic and tails!! (also sonic x spoilers ahead of course) i feel like with the insertion of chris all the sonic brotherly friendship lalala went to him instead which is like whatever... relatable human character for young viewers LOL but tails' characterization in the last season is particularly my favorite.. young and spirited and incredibly capable, leading the space mission!! it would have been awesome seeing their dynamic with their anime/adventure characterizations

(cosmo/s3 spoilers): i agree the interaction between sonic and tails after cosmos' death was a little strange to me too LMAO.. i prefer the english dub's interpretation bc it changes from "sonic i had faith that you'd save her, i believed in you" -> "why did this have to happen, it's not fair", offloading the blame from sonic and focusing more on tails' grief about cosmos death!! obviously cosmos fate was not something sonic could control so its a little funny he started directing those feelings to him LMAO

and the stiffness was a bit funny too LOL i think its alright that sonic offered a shoulder to cry on but something similar to how he reassured tails in frontiers would've been cool 💭💭
