The Elusive Lesser

A Lesser Racket-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus remifer) making a rare appearance in a lower layer of the Rain Forest in the botanic gardens. Photo credit: Jonathan Chua.

Unlike the Greater Racket-tailed, this drongo mostly forages in the closed canopy of the forest and is therefore less seen in the open.

The Peruvian racket-tail (Ocreatus peruanus)

A species of hummingbird in the "brilliants", tribe Heliantheini in subfamily Lesbiinae. It is found in Ecuador and Peru (x).
